A large sea-monster appeared in the Cordor Bay. It attacked several Gondolas and people close to the docks, earlier today, before it was killed by local adventurers. Rumor has it its head was blown off in some kind of explosion, as it was half out of the water.
Minor damage was caused to the bridge north, and is expected to be repaired later this evening. No one is certain how many were killed, but it is estimated at around half a dozen died before the creature was felled. Clean-up is expected to continue for the next few hours or so.

After the events several mages, froze the split remains, and together with some volunteers took them to the Monolith, fearing for spoilage they discussed taking the remains to a temporary holding place in a colder climate, before garnering the attention of the mage guild, several places were considered including Brogendenstein, but loathing to earn the chagrin of the dwarves they decided on Forstakkr, together and with the aid of a portal, they brought the pieces there. they Discussed multiple theorys on how to keep the remains under ice, and decided on a quick freeze using a triangulated simultaneous blasts of frost rays, and allowing the climate to keep it so. they now await word from the Monolith.

Upon receiving word back from Vaelmith Starshower, Roim had the remains brought to The monolith to have them preserved in the lab upstairs.

A note arrives at the monolith and a copy is sent to Roim.
Re: unidentified sea monster found in Cordor Bay.
Having undertaking some studies myself in an attempt to determine antidotes to the poisons contained within the creature, I discovered an unusual side effect. An accidental spillage of some chemicals over a portion of the creatures flesh resulted in the specimen becoming electo-statically charged (which causes havoc with various tools upon the bench I might add). I propose that this reaction could be somehow stimulated to create dampening fields against electrical interference.
I will attempt to determine exactly what I spilt over it and send you the results in due course.
