Several sailors have been seen entering and leaving the Inn at Fortress Wiltun. It seems that their ship has docked in the nearby waters, and has let their crew on shore leave. The inn certainly becomes a more rambunctious place, and Bartleby, while appreciative of the business, has commented on the noise and mess.
The Crew seem to be eager to discuss the adventures and hoards of treasure that they're on their way to. The officers, understandably, are far more tight-lipped.

A small female kobold, with a pair of kukris sheathed upon her back, is noticed frequenting the inn more than she has usually been seen, and questioning the sailors as much as possible.
// I've actually been a little away-from-the-game for a bit, so 'find out IC' is a fully OK answer, but if her questionings would have gleaned anything I can't IC, a PM would be awesome.

The Captain of the Ship, Michaels, has apparently extended the shore-leave of his crew until further notice. Rumor has it that the captain is looking for some sort of Object. The Sailors seem not to mind the extension. Bartleby is seen to be crying on occasion.

The ship, having made its home port in Wiltun, has been seen traveling of the coasts of various towns, sending Rowboats and emissaries to various locations. What could it be looking for?

*A woman in silver and black scaled armor, with wings on her helmet
approaches one of the sailors delivering a letter which seems to be covered
with illusionary lightning.* "Can you please see Captain Michaels receives
this letter, and do be careful it is designed so that only he may open it."
*She walks out the door a short time after" *In the letter if opened*
"Perhaps my services may be used, I wish an audience with you at your
earliest convenience"

Sammael, a newcomer tiefling in fortress Wiltun, can easily be found drinking at the Inn (sometimes drinking too much), since he still has not found a job for himself (and seems not to care pretty much about that). The recent increase of the Inn's customers motivated him to spend an even bigger part of his day at the establishment, trying to interact with the sailors through games of chance, story telling and simply drinking, without any apparent interest other than have fun and making some noise.

A quite conscious and clear-minded Davaeorn hears of the ships recent actions and makes his way towards Wiltun once more, taking up temporary residence in the inn, while he tries to contact the crew.

A notice goes up in Wiltun and Cordor:
"Seeking Rare Book. Will pay up to 100,000 for its return to our ship. Goes by the Title of "Morteguarde II". Allegedly was sold at auction recently. Any information will be rewarded as well.
Sincerely,
Captain Michaels"
