Various posters are being put up all around Cordor, by a few common citizens.

Kosthu would just walk off with an angry grumble at the sight of the monsters poster.

*Othokentir the Kobold merchant grins when he sees the monster version of the propaganda poster. So amused by it was he that he claimed one when nobody was looking and proudly displays it at his store next to his merchandise, taking pains to mention it to every customer.*

See? Othokentir make terrible neighbor. Who in right mind want to be able to buy many great things at low prices for, anyway?

Tailor nods to himself as he looks over the various posters, and can be heard mumbling his agreement.

Eir on the other hand, seems to have a hard time figuring out whether he should give the commoners a reason to fear him or not.

Ky'irael, on his way through Cordor during one of his visits, passes the notices and nods to himself.

And the citizens agree, as well. Very excellent, indeed. Cordor has come a long way.

Paws passes by the notices and reads them. He laughs a bit and shakes his head, simply finding them funny and not taking them seriously. He walks off muttering to himself, still grinning and shaking his head:

They is funny... good comedy. Yes...

*saisha sees the notes, and puts up a note below*
I Sai'sha Jai'diem, Platinium knight, Paladin of Bahamut, fully support the banning of goblins and kobolds, they are in thier very nature cruel and evil, and should not be allowed to walk toril.

A note is attached by a red-haired human underneath Sai'sha's note:

Paladin's Code of Conduct:

Point Two:
"Judge not others. By judging others, thee thineself are judged."

Point Four:
"Help others live a full life, and harm not the harmless"

Point Seven:
"Abandon all greed, hatred, and evil feelings towards others. These close the mind to truth and engender a hatred for life"

Point Eight:
"Pay homage to life by living freely and allowing others the same"

Point Twelve:
".. Not Envy, Love. Not Wrath, Kindness. Temperance, not Gluttony. Moderation, not Sloth."

The red haired human, shaking his head, walks away the way he came.

Riala wanders past one of the anti-draconic signs, taking a sheet of paper out of her pack to compare the writing with draconic, ironically enough. With a frown, she scribbles on it in draconic runes, "NOT ALL OF US ARE MONSTERS YOU KNOW" but leaves no name or indication of who wrote it. With that, she wanders away, back into the main part of Cordor.

*see's the note with the paladin code then writing down below it..*

do you judge the monsters you kill?...
thier darkness is unquestionable like the evil of a demon..
i do this to protect the citizens of this city, the kobolds and goblins are a threat without any doubt and should be sent back to where they came.

As amareth travels through cordor on one of her visits she sees the various notices and nods in agreement to most of them and mutters in elven as she passes.

Good, they are improving. now to see if they will implement these changes for the better. When these are implemented Cordor will be safer.

Rras stepped past one of the posters as it was being laid in place by a man. He paused before gazing down at it. The windy blusters draw over his scaled frame as he bent forward as his cloak trailed 'hind him. His sharp gilded eyes focused unto the poster dealing with draconics. A clawed hand urged down and traced over the image as he showed surprizing resolve, his gaze seemed impassive, tone patriarchal.

Wether or not the man would run off is anyone's guess, though Rras began speaking, though his booming voice carried a fair distance.. something he made no attempt to muffle or mute.

"It is about time you started learning.. We have no place here with your kind, realistically. We don't think remotely the same. You don't understand me, how could you possibly?

Governance by fear... I do not hold it against you that you fear me, but if you allow yourself to give into this you are no better than the beasts you strive to dispose of.

I assure you that I feel no different than you about the ones you seek to dispose of. They're animals, degenerates and should be dealt with swiftly and finally. If they act like wild beasts, slay them as such.

Though if you knew how many of your lives I've saved from something far more dangerous and evil than myself.. you may just rethink your political statement here..

..For every part that you see of me which is inhuman, there is something different than you. Something strange that is difficult to understand. This poster illustrates it perfectly.. I am no more a dragon than any other that is not. I am something completely different, mind, body, and elemental force."

With those words he stepped away and towards the docks, making no more point of the poster, nor the man if he remained. A certain calm having journeyed back with the crimson scaled biped from whence he had been.

Finally. Someone hath come to their senses in this town! Tis high time they get rid of those natural monsters, and keep us, the human ones.

Jaocim Applegate strides up to one of the posters. He rips one down with his guantleted hand to take a better look. Absolutely disgusted with it, he crumples it up with a single hand and tosses it out on the street.

"Unjust and unwarranted.."

One otherwise quiet eve within the City of Cordor was brought into a state of chaos as the Citizens of Cordor in numbers surpassing the hundreds marched and spoke out against the adventurers and monsters that riddled their city.

Following alongside the citizens was a long haired human man, dressed in clothes that would hint to him as being a merchant of some quality.

As present as Samantha used to be in the activities and news of Cordor, it is probably odd to some that she is suddenly silent. Especially with posters like these popping up everywhere.

Her tent gone and her whereabouts unknown, it seems the unpopular, outspoken rat-woman has finally been taken care of in some fashion.

Niya frowns a bit at the posters but then draws big hairy moustaches upon the pictures of the Monster. pausing for a split second rubs she her chin and then draws a moustache upon the dragon too.

"Looks good I think..." She mutters to herself, inspecting her artwork. "Although I could add some other things... but those can wait.. for now."

She then walks slowly off, whistling to herself , tail swishing around.

"I should stock up on torches and pitchforks though." she muses to herself, "Just in case people want to form an unruly mob or so..."

The svelte tiefling wanders through Cordor, barely noticing the signs. One, however, the Monster poster, catches her eye. Blue-green orbs narrow dangerously, and her lip curls in a snarl, showing bright white fangs where her canines are. Her delicate hand comes up, to tear the sign down, wadding it and tossing it over her shoulder.

"Feckin' piker scumbags! Who t'hell're they ta say we're bad?! Goddamn humans. Goddamn elves. Got na' use fer 'em, an' they're diggin' a grave 'roun' 'ere."

Delarwyn is seeing shaking her head and leaving one single small note: As if they were the only monsters. Your mistake is to judge people for their monster's appearance and not their actions. How many half orcs helped you to fight? How many Kobolds are more honorable than Knights? I can guarantee I know many "monsters" that are much better than the whole lot of you.

Angela reads it and nods. IF it is the law I shall follow and obey when I am in this town, but I cannot agree with using violence against anyone that do not deserve it. I wont attack any draconic, drow, kobold or Orc that have shown inclination to change and to embrace the righteous path. I am sorry, but my God embraces and heal all, doesn't matter how monster looking they are.

Alynne reads the note and laughs. Poor kobolds, I wonder what will they do, they cannot find a place among other evil kobolds and they cannot find a place among the folks of this town. Sometimes, the world is quite unfair, but then again, why would I care?

Elrid reads the note and laugh. Who do you call a monster? The Draconic population should rise and show you all your righteous place... under Tiamat's feet. May Tiamat show you no mercy for the daring attitude of calling us monsters. Us, the might beings of draconic blood, might creatures imbued with the ancient blood of the Mightiest of all the ancient races. How do you dare to think you are better than us? My horns and fangs are the sole symbol of my superiority and I shall show you that if you try and stop me from doing my duty to My God. I dont need your foul city and I wish you slow death!

Lisselle reads it and shrugs, life and its cycles, maybe one day this town will belong to the draconic folks, maybe even to worse creatures. Not, my place to get involved.. where did I put my flute?

*Richard Pakasin'lak walks by the posters, quirking a brow at the first few posters then turns into a frown as he reads what people have wrote.*

"It's a wonder on why Amia isn't as bad as the Abyss."

*Puts his hands on his hips and shakes his head as he continues reading.* "Why must they rid of these "monsters" for when inside they could truely be the monster?" *Looks around then mumbles.* "Their ears have been listening to the wrong things... It is not their fault, it's not anyones... We are who we are..."

*Takes out his helmet and sighs, looking into its eye sockets.*"Gods be mercyful on those who do not listen... It's not their fault, it's not anyones, we can never be raised to be perfect, we all have our flaws..."

*Puts on his helmet and scans the area, walking into a nearby shadow of a building and disappears.*

A collection of Greenskins ranging from 8 foot Ogrillions to 4 foot Goblins led by an extremely vicious Orog walk through Cordor's southern suburbs on a random basis flashing fangs and yelling loud, intimidating roars at Cordor's citizens who get too close. It's almost as if they're purposefully spurring on the hatred in the populace.

Graffiti starts to appear around Cordor aswell, written generally in common:

"One Eye kills the weak! And the Humies are next!"

Rumours are also passed around the more poor, uneducated parts of Cordor with the single, nightmare catch-phrase for any human commoner:

"The Orcs are at the Gates! The Orcs are at the Gates!"

It was odd enough, that each scrawled message by the 'Greenskins, ' another message showed up beneath it in a magically glowing red. . .

The posters lack to hold any significance for Weston as he walks by them for a few days before any catch his eye. And even then he couldn't care less, well, except maybe the one about Cordor's Guard. He had stopped to examine that one, but it too soon became well and ignored.

Gro'toc smirks at the posters, giving little thought to them at first. So far Cordor had been nothing but....opposite from what is said by these posters. He had received much thanks even from sergeant Yance himself for putting his axe to work against the Orcs to the North, as he had continued to do so, even going further into the Skull Crags to chase of much worse then Orcs.

Gro'toc did wonder....what would Cordor do without his help and the help of so many decent wild races...not just Orc and Goblin kind...but Draconic too? And did this mean even those with powers to take the shapes of wild creatures, should live in fear or leave Cordor as well? Gro'toc thought a minute as he passed through the gates of Cordor into the familiar frontier....he decided: he feared nothing nor anyone any longer, he would not live in fear; he would stay and lend his thoughts if they would be heard or return to the wilds if he must.

*Amand Saelir notes one of the posters depicting the Lady Goddesses of Brightwater and smiles contently, murmering* "And here I thought I was the only one who had heard of Lliira!" *he pointedly frowns at the posters calling citizens 'monsters' and decrying those of draconic as 'pesky'* "Just what this so called fair city needs: more prejudice and strife within these walls. The following letters are pinned ontop of the official guard notices around -some parts- of the city:

Galenson wrote:
The parchment of paper is rather simple with only the picture of a large Eye. Upon the notice the same message is repeated in five different languages: Orcish first, common second, goblinoid third, draconic fourth and (to those that would recognise it) Undercommon at the bottom.

Image
"Monstrous bretheren! Duergar! Svirfneblins and other shunned races!

This Isle is dirty! Pointy ears and their disgusting Drow cousins walk around freely like they own the place, stinking up good lands with their filth and their lies! The humans, the weak pink skinned gits in their scared minds allow themselves to believe these lies and they put the blame on us! The monstrous Races because they are too blind to see the truth of this growing cancer!

You do not need to stand for that! One Eye, the Ancient One, more ancient then even the bastard Corellon has deemed this isle worthy of his attention. His minions will not rest until Corellon's Temple and Aurashnee's Temples lay burning in smouldering remains for their lies, trickery, deceit and the miserable impression they have stereotyped the monstrous races with!

Join the battle against these vile creatures! Show the pink skins their lies and deceit and you will finally have your acceptance!

The Dark Horde."

A more simple message is left in more orcish/goblinoid dominated areas.

"It's pointy ear smashin' time!

The Dark Horde."

And as usual, these notices are updated all the time, with old ones being replaced and new ones posted everywhere they can.
