Xavi sighs, sadly, at the thought of another militant group crusading about the isle. She lifts her eyes to the heavens and whispers a brief prayer to Sharess. "Goddess... would that you would send us a prophet, that we could turn the people of Amia away from violence and death and steer them down a path of love and joy."

Brothers and Sisters of the Knights of Light,

I hope this note finds you all well and safe. During these times of great struggle we must not give up hope. As long as each of us are present the light of the mroning lord will never fail, I have faith in you all.

However there are matters that must be discussed, we are in need of a meeting. I call you all foward to join as each input is vauled.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Since we have all been called forward to fight the darkness, it has come to my attention that some may require trainging in the art of combat. I have been approached by a friend of the church who is willing to teach, anyone willing, in the art of war.

For those who believe the art of war is not for them, I am willing to train you in the art of defence using an acient passive fighting style taught to me by Sun Soul Monks.

If you are interested in either forms of traing please let me now by writing your name on the list attached.

Dzumbra walks into the Chapel determination written all over his face. He walks up to the notice board in posts a large parchement over the top of most of the other posts. He steps back reads over the note one last time before leaving, shaking his head.

KNIGHTS OF LIGHT

I have sat back for too long, the time has come for war and battle. Too many innocents have lsot their lives and the enemiy must be stopped. The undead have walked for too long, and these so called "Banites" have cause far too much choas.

THIS IS AN ORDER! As commander of the Knights of Light I am ordering all those able to stand up against our foe. The undead will perish and the Banites will be subdued. They have taken it too far and I hate to admit it, but action is now our only option. I myself will not stop until both of these threats are extinguished or I myself and dead. I call you all TO THE FIGHT, brothers and sisters do not give up, Lathander is on OUR side.

A CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Brothers and Sisters,

This gathering has become too large and unwieldly for one man to administer and lead. The Prophet Dzumbra, whilst a capable sage cannot lead every activity in the field, or answer every correspondance required by our order to our allies and other parties.

Dzumbra has agreed to the formation of a council, to oversee the day to day operations, military strategy, recruitment and logistics for the Golden Army. This council shall consist of a number of the faithful to Lathander, being of an odd number, so there can be a casting vote in a time of deadlock on an issue or motion.

Many challenges face us at this time... to many for one man to handle alone.

I call all Brother and Sisters who are interested in assuming the mantle of leadership within the Golden Army to nominate for this council.

I feel this is the way forward for our group, and with greater organsation and transparency, will be a wonderful vehicle for us to achieve our common goals and spread the word of Lathander.

Being the only female in this group i would like to have a voice, and being one of the few mages as well, i think we deserve to have a voice in this council. And i believe i can speak for the other mage / mages i would be a good leader to represent females and mages.

*Al'Karjanti looks the board over with a grin, takes out a quill and reaches up to scribe something, then hesitates, puts his hand back down, relents and lifts his quill back up only to hesitate again and finally put the quill away with a mildly embarrassed look on his face. He remains in place for some time alternately looking at the board and seemingly lost in thought before finally realizing it's time for prayers and heading to the altar to join with Father Redwith in prayersong.*

I regret to say that Prophet Dzumbra has informed me that he will be leaving for a while, but he has put me in charge of the faction. Dzumbra's absence has been duly noted by those of us frequenting the chapel, a point which saddens me as his company was always a cause for pleasant and healthy reflection on the duties and resposibilities of our cause.

Regarding my personal situation, I have endeavored to further explore the portion of my heritage that is of the elven race and delve into the secrets of their superior skills in archery and target spotting. For that reason I will henceforth be taking up residence temporarily in Winya to facilitate such training. Be assured I will continue my work furthering the goals of our church while engaged in this research and will make periodic forays to the Cordor chapel for prayer sessions as time permits.

Dawnbringers take note.

The Banite going by the name Maal has resurfaced and attacked two Dawnbringers without warning.

Aylomen and myself were training in the Arena the other day when he emerged from hiding and attempted to slay us. Our combined might and the blessings of the Morninglord prevailed but be warned, he is strong in combat and not to be trifled with by any but the stoutest of us. If either of us were alone and unprepared, the outcome would likely be unfortunate.

Be on your guard.

Dearest Brothers,

I, Dawnbringer Aylomen, military tactics practicioner and trainer, have returned from an extended leave of absence. The statement above is true. We were assaulted by said Banite, but we did prevail. Take note, the Banites are rising once more. It is the duty of the Army of Light to expel such people from this enchanted isle.

Please post a notice or a date of when, together, the Army of the Light shall meet. I believe it is imperitive that we struggle together, because through unity, Divine Light shines brighter.

A band of brigands styling itself the Black Caravan has issued threats by letter and in person to eliminate the people of Kohlingen -- civilians included -- to the last.

To any of the faithful who speak to Father Redweth, he shall tell you of a young lady who enters the chapel daily, clad in many blankets and shivering even in the light. Beneath her cowl she wears unkempt armour, her eyes seem as if she has not slept in days as her face says she has not eaten.

She stays a time, to bask in lathanders light, and from her prayer it appears she is one of the faithful... yet soon after she enters, she succumbs to vicious coughing fits, at which time she excuses herself quickly, speaking to no-one.

She has taken note of the heroes here, and she has told Father Redweth she will seek you out.

The lady asked for help, and left her name : Renais.

Dawnbringer Tyrus Belias stepped into the church of Lathander to speak with Father Redweth. Here he learns of a young lady by the name of Renais in search of the Army of the Light. Though to his knowledge that not many still stand of this order, Tyrus takes up the responciblity to seek out and meet this Renais.
