Some of you who use the amia wiki may notice that it is down. I am in Australia currently, and the server is in my bedroom, and while I can't drop by there and kick it / spit on it, I left a key with a friend Sloan who knows my server a bit for just such a purpose!

So we are at the Mercy of the Sloan.

Blessings to you all my dear friends! =hugs= I miss you all a lot. Drop by to say hi when you can.

Sha

Good on ya mate. ;) In Sydney! I just got back from spending the day with Louise and am hanging a bit with Sage, having a blast.

Drop a note to shatuga at gmail.com if ya like, and might be around this week. Next week we're going skiing!

Anyway no word from my friend yet about getting my server back up.

It turned itself off because I forgot to leave the AC on in my apartment and it got REALLY HOT. >.>

I'm safely home..... I had a very meaningful trip!

It's proving tricky once again, so far I have able to use it the entire day.

I've been in touch with Shatuga indirectly and apparently his router is on the fritz. The wiki may be up toward the end of the week, but the long-term future is uncertain. Does any regular player have the set-up to host the wiki down the road?

Mags? Frey?

Thanks for everything so far, Shatuga!

Yeah. It would be extremely sad to lose all that work. There's a lot of people who've put a lot of time and effort into posting up their character profiles, profiles on gods, areas, factions, etc.

Be really nice if someone else could host it.

In celebration of our 1000th article (by Maias227) I revamped the main page a little, now it should fit itself to page with and suit the general style. Let me know if it doesn't work properly in some browser.

In other good news, the page on 'Sharess' now shows up 16th in line if you Google that name.

The server has been upgraded to... something or other, and it keeps crashing for... some reason. It'll be back... eventually.

Shatuga says it may be a few days.

Thanks for your patience with the amiawiki!

I *think* it's stable though it badly needs an update - the dynamic DNS now seems to be fine.....

... it helps if you, like, include they DynDNS updater in the boot scripts >.>....

Anyway! If it is down PLEASE send me a PM and I'll do my best to get it going. I do still get those to my email.

I know that also it may get moved to somewhere more proper. That's fine! I'm in CRUNCH MODE these days because I have 2 kids in school, am in school myself, working full time, have consulting work in the evenings, and a very demanding girlfriend.

Love you all and miss you...... and I miss my wiggie-poo too!

Maybe.. MAYBE... someday.. she may come wandering back with an ol' "what the hell happened to the shrine?!?!" >.> You just never know!

Sha
