Ive seen people have dragon shape at their mid 20s lvl!
I thought dragon shape was hard to get with its wooping 30wiz. requirment in such, or is it -that- easy to get 30 wiz?
how is that possible?

18 wisdom, and the only epic feat you take is great wisdom, and you go full druid/shifter so you get epic bonus feats for wisdom.... and you should be able to get it at like 27.
However, if it required 30 wiz... I think we'd have some very happy wizards on amia.

Its a nine level spell shapechange for wizard so a 17 level wizard can be a dragon if he wish, but without the breath and all and no damage reductions, the spell is more a fear factor than anuthing else...except to change in death slaad who is awersome.

That dragon shape does have damage reductions, just not as good as the shifter form.

Fear arua!!!!! Draogn saves maybe? Fear arua would be the trump card as the shifter one does not have it.

I could make you a suit like the one I made for Gaylord. It's a tasteful combination of bright blue, poison green and neon pink. I swear people will run off screaming when you put that on. You do not even have to put on your dragon coat for a fear aura, all you need is an extremely bad taste.

The only one who's ever turned into real dragons are npc alts.
The closest you can get is Roslefusio, who started life as a human with dragon blood and ended up a dracolich.
other people where 'always dragons' and given an item to set their appearance.

...well I've been reading the guides in such and it IS hard to get real dragon shape before lvl 30. Maybe I should just stick with the Uber Golem forms
cus they're the next best things from dragons to me!
pfft... who needs dragons anyways HAH!
hmm... I wonder who would win if an Elder Earth Elemental and a Demonflesh Golem duked it out...

Yeah, I'd go for the golem or outsider forms... those are my two favorite sets of shifts.. Rakshasa is *awesome*. Get a mage to haste you and just keep tossing those Ice Storms.

my intent is to be 30 lv druid. I can already assume red dragon shape via the spell.
is it worth every feat i have at epic lev to be epic wisdom to get dragonshape? especially if its no different than the spell i get at lev 17?
please enlighten me as to the difference between the 2, otherwise why have a feat that is going to require you to use almost every epic feat and stat upgrade to be wisdom...seems rather unbalanced to me.
especially since the spell was improved by giving it breath weapon capability, and the feat was nerfed.
i am new to the server for the most part and played druid since beta. Has nothing to do with being uber, or a powermonger, my focus has been on rp. Just seems unfair in my eyes and unbalanced if this is the case regarding the spell vrs the feat. To keep from getting into a useless discussion and a locked thread, would anyone who has a decent answer send me a pm.

Dragonshape feat is still significantly more powerful than the spell version. However, the breath weapon on the dragonshape feat is much much much much worse than that of the shapechange spell. Have no idea why this is and I really hope it will get looked at sometime soon as it was a real slap in the face when i finally got Dragonshape. Despite that the AC of the dragonshape feat is roughly 59ish buffed which becomes a very very healthy 74ish if you add monk which will probably get you a few tuts (it does make all those other shapeshifts and wildshapes useable though) . Lightning and acid immunity is also gravy (but i guess balor comes with lighning so...). Its definitely worth considering...far better investment than EDK anyway. What Epic feats were you thinking of taking instead?

Two reasons: First being that they found the search button and the second one that about every possible topic has been discussed these last years. *sagenod*

seems like ds is a waste of time, thanks for the input, it gives me something to think about in regards to...what am i gonna do now....Zortak has some thinking to do about his new direction on this server.

Agreed, it isn't a waste ... for more information, I'd suggest visiting the build thread.

Deffinately not a waste. Dragonshape gets you; Blue, Red and Green shapes, each with a different breath weapons, DR's etc.. (Each being good for a different immunity type too, giving an advantage with some things)
You could just settle for the ninth level shapechange version, but the shifter version is much, much better.
I haven't gotten Dragon shape on Amia before, but i know it's better than the spell Version, as i've seen a few people with it.

Unless of course your plan is to sit back and spam dragonbreath. In that case, totally forget DS as the breath weapon, even despite the differing elements available, really...well...blow compared to shapechange variant.
