Cordor and Kohlingen's populace and guards are abuzz with the news of a very special pair of visitors to be coming to the island soon. The famous Elven Paladin on Tyr, Kalindara Dragais, and her advisor Darei, will be arriving on the isalnd of Amia soon, to help lead personal crusades against the horrors that befall the island.

Few details can be gleaned from the general populace other than the fact that she's arriving soon, and that she's a well known, well liked Paladin of Tyr. More knowledgeable people, such as clergy of Tyr, or Elves, would know Kalindara is a woman who has led quite a few succesful crusades on the mainland, saving countless people, towns, and villages from the imminent attack of humanoids, undead and other things.

All in all, the people of Cordor and Kohlingen are in high spirits with the arrival of these two just on the horizon.

Mariha Feral hears of this and asks around regarding her intentions. Does she seek to mount a campaign against the Horde? Independently of the Axis and Amia Militia? Will she be meeting with General Kortrov?

Earylduil hears the name, and instantly grins, nodding as he mutters to himself.

So she comes to Amia, grand. Hopefully it'll show some of these paladins how to be paladins! Bastions of good, grand.

Earylduil passes the rest of the day with a lighthearted grin, seeing this as a first step along the path to Amia's safety.

Gloin sits on the armchair on the Brews' second floor, his pipe held loosly in his mouth, and his eyes seem rather concerned, his forehead wrinkled slightly and silent humming breaks out of his mouth from time to time.

For some reason I get the feeling this crusade might prove too devastative...The definition of evil amongst those paladins might be a little too far-reaching...

Naliss Phrozenflare happens to get news of this, as he was taking a brake from his endeavors in the city of Cordor.

Hmm… I wonder of Milady will need any aid from the tower soon? I’ll just have to wait and see.

He chuckles, before taking a sip from his bottle of Sweetberry Milk.

*Radarmantro hears of the news and he frowns a worried frown* a personal "crusade"? i shall not judge too soon, but i don't like this. might as well be that she kills off entire specieses just because of a "personal crusade" against evil. how i am tired of this whole paladin crusade sceme...

*radarmantro walks off with a rather bad feeling in his stomach and a worried look on his already grave face*

oO ( THINKS TO HIMSELF ) Oo

Great, just what i need, another religious fanatic seeking to cleanse what they deem are heretics. Ughh . . . this will make life harder. Another stinking paladin.

*spits on the ground grumbling, walking out of Cordor*

Her eyes narrow at the news, frustrated at circumstances. Business was difficult enough with direct competition from the BlackFlag, the Dimming light meddling in her affairs and the recent news of Ray's little Troope. This 'paladins' arrival would hinder her plans against the Duke. Perhaps it is time to give her a welcoming party she'll never forget

// Did anything ever come of this? I had gotten all excited about some crusader NPC spawn types and then the plot kind of went silent (unless I just haven't heard of it).

((It went silent because I am in the middle of moving to a new apartment... and will be without internet for an indeterminable amount of time. So instead of starting it half way and being gone for however long, I just decided not to start it. Guess I forgot to mention it on the regular forums... I apologize for that.))

((I'm tired of waiting to move. So I started this.))

With no announcement and no fanfare whatsoever except the praise of her councilor Darei, Kalindara entered Cordor this night, and immediately made her presence known to the community. It's easy to discover that her intentions are to battle evil and injustice on the island in all forms, and the Horde is a special concern of hers. She has set up a meeting with the Duke, though there is no word on if it will be a private or a public meeting.

Her first act of justice on the island was conscripting a pair of kobolds, a cleric of Shaundakul, and a woman named Laria into service to aid her in vanquishing vampires that had been sighted by Igor around Moribund. Due to the skills of the adventurers, and Kalindara's keen ability to command, the vampires were slain with minimal loss of life, and Igor's crypts have been restored to... somewhat peace.

Shady people are also aware that Igor's house will be coming under intense scrutiny thanks to an informant reporting to Kalindara, who then reported to Franton, about the possibility of highly illegal and unscrupulous activities occuring within.

During her days of relaxation, Kalindara can be seen making appearances, aiding the Temple of Lathandar, and the Temple of Waukeen in their day to day needs. Darei is ever at her side.

With that off his chest he decides to go find jud to see if his plan is worth attempting. Best not to let the holy take all the glory.

Walking to the docks to take the boat to Brogendenstein he sees the pair enter the city. Deciding to help them with their gear while waiting for the boat to prepare for departure he carts a large crate to the temple of Waukeen for them, leading them there in the process. Having received a generous payment for his help he decides to stick around and see what the hubbub is about and becomes quickly disappointed when he's not chosen to help with the vampires.

"Durned fools, I be good a smashin' things." he mutters to himself as we walks back to the docks and takes the boat. "Who knows, mayhaps dey come tah dere senses and ask fer me helps latter..."

Just another strange day for Thorp Headbreaker.

Kalindara is seen marching back inot town in high spirits, praising the work of several adventurers for helping her reclaim the amulet of the kobolds, a long standing tainted artifact. After a brief question and answer session, Kalindara and Darei cloistered themselves in her room, and magical light could be seen coming from beneath the door as Darei worked his magic on the recovered amulet.

Kalindara has also announced to the public that any meetings may be arranged via Speedy's Delivery service, and the letters addressed to either her or Darei. ((PM me on the forums, I think there were a few people interested in having a Q/A session with her.))

The common folk of Cordor are in higher spirits than usual, seeing one Paladin take command and march at the forefront, as opposed to simply being splintered groups of adventurers.

Rumours fly through the "Small Folk" city of Bendir Dale, with a great name being the focus of their cheerful cries.

"Kalindara Dragais! Bendir's Champion!"

Anyone passing through will likely learn of Kalindara's bravery in dealing with the trolls who'd managed to capture one of Bendir Dale's finest troops - Officer Skit Gwil - by leading a large group of well-minded adventurers into the caves to rescue the survivors!

Skit Gwil, still recovering from her injuries, seems in lower spirits however, thanks to the losses suffered in the initial confrontations.

// Thanks to those who participated.

As well, Kalindara Dragais is seen in her room in the Temple of Waukeen, purifying their latest take, after the amulet recovered from the Kobold caves: A helm stolen from the Troll Summoner.
