What does this EMD choice specialize in/is it any good? I really want to give it a try but know nothing about it.

It's a dex wis fist monk with lots of monk levels - you pretty much get what you expect here. Fast, high SR, lots of attacks for medium damage, and high AC with mediocre HP.
