I noticed today that the taunt skill does not prioritize itself at the front of the action queue like knockdown does, thus it never goes off during combat. In order to activate it you must left click all actions ahead of it in the queue and even then I never see a save in the combat log, which makes the character flat-footed with no benefit. Is this how the skill is meant to work?

Just did some testing and after finally getting taunt to go off I have to literally spam it 5 or 6 times to get a roll to pop up in the combat log and make a taunt attempt. Is there a way to make this skill work the way it's intended to work?

Taunting, like proper hiding, requires you to disengage to do it quickly. That does mean the best way to do it is clicking away the actions in the quee at the top left corner, yep.
