Didn't find this issue through a search-
Created new character. Attempted to level to level 2. Instead of the level, it just goes back to being ready to level up again to level 2 with the server message: Character gained too many hit points.

Not sure what would cause this. Have you tried logging in/out? Is your subrace activated? What subrace? CON of character? Toughness feat?

Just logged out for the day.
The subrace was activated.
CON: 14
No Toughness feat.
I logged back in and now I can level. So if this occurs again, the log out/in is likely the fix.
