Not sure what's up with them lately and sure it is nice when they just stand there... but it just doesn't seem right. I've started noticing that every couple of spawns one or two of the goblins, do nothing even when attacked. I probably shouldn't complain because at times it makes it easy but this also effects the boss. He did nothing as I entered and continued to stand there as he died... which in itself was a surprise because I landed one hit and he dropped dead! On average it takes two hits to kill a goblin priest or chief with my fighter, one if I crit... but the boss just seemed to be a complete walk over compared to the other levels I'd walked through... more so with his lack of interest in any form of combat!

The ones outside the cave are as active as ever, even killing each other!

The goblin priest used to be accompanied by a double spawn of followers. Or maybe he was a kobold priest back then. Anyway, the followers got taken out a while back and since then he's in there alone and its rather anti-climactic. I know he's a lowbie boss but can he have some friends and a bit of a buffing to make him more of a challenge?

You don't like the jobber goblin boss?

Honestly, you buff for a fight, walk in and he is dead before he turns to see who is on the steps behind him... going from that to some of the others bosses as you level, how has this goblin kept the others in line for so long?

I know, it's easy leveling but the spawns prior to getting to him are more challenging!

I just did a run through; in the final area there were several goblin rogues, warriors and scouts just before the boss that appeared and were moving/attacking. The boss as well was attacking.

I'd hope so, put them in there when I set the mobs up after all!
