One merry evening, Grishnak the Campmaker was fighting pirates in Ostland. An event where Ruathym, despite it's differences, united to slay the looming threat of pirate slavers stealing locals for foreign markets.
After the server reset following the event, the half-orc logged back into Amia. Alas! His mighty +3 Keen Longsword of Cold was missing. . . Lost evermore.

Summary:

- Took part in Ostland event killing pirates.
- Killed stuff.
- Server reset.
- Logged just before a server reset; was back in Amia land the next evening.
- Found that my quickslots for weapons were blank.
- Checked inventory and all bags - No trace of sword.

- Had noticed the night before, when unequipping items... despite there being two blank inventory pages, I dropped my tower shield a few times and was forced to pick it up. I'm pretty sure I logged out with weapons equipped, as it was late in my timezone and I excused myself from the event early - as there was a reset coming up.
- It is possible something happened where I didn't notice I dropped the sword; but all the same with free inventory space the sword shouldn't have dropped regardless.

I do not know what causes this, but I have had it happen to me too. Not sure how we can consider fixing something like this that rarely happens.

Check with the DMs for any type of refund, they may want some sort of confirmation about what it was or that you had it.

Other than that checking for this is a very problematic thing and hard to script in an efficient manner, but we are checking into what we can do.
