quick question for those of you whom actually view these bits of the forums, labyrinth excluded, do the epic battleaxes only come in the trueforged variety with the piercing damage? Or are they also available in the Warforged variety with bludgeoning instead?

"Warforged" typed weapons are only available on two handed weapons.

Battleaxes come in the trueforged variety, which means their properties are usually Keen, and +1d10 physical damage.

Each weapon type only has one xforged variety. As posted previously, "warforged" is the type only for 2hand weapons. The 1hand weapons are divided seemingly randomly between sureforged and truestrike with no rhyme or reason.

Warforged = Two-handers
Sureforged = One-handed "light/finesse" weaponry
Trueforged = One-handed everything else

All true but one-handed "everything else" can also be sureforged as well as trueforged.
