So like- factions, how do?

How can I get help from some one on the dm Team for a specific faction? I kinda feel at a loss for what to do and have trouble getting anything done or communicating well it seems.

The fastest way is to PM a DM directly to see which DM would preside over your particular faction or area, probably. I imagine this will serve to get someone's attention, though. Course, they'll probably ask you to PM the details.

You can ask a specific DM to assist with your own plans. They must be your own, and we can only help facilitate them, if we feel it is appropriate.

Would it be best to ask a dm who is not already tied to a faction / city?

Best is you sent a PM to the DM-Team with the following info:

Name of Faction.
Main Focus of Faction.
Main Location/area of operation of the faction.
What you mostly wish to do.

That way the whole team can have a look and decide who can help you by amount of time and if the focus lies within what they are good with lore and style wise.
