*A small crowd, fortified with pies, would watch the ritual.
At the very least the ritual lifted Dale spirits and more then a few hin and gnomes discussed the ritual afterwards in and around the Hin Inn with a smile on their lips*

The relatively short ritual would have left an interesting display outside the Town Hall of Bendir Dale.
Grass was tall and thick around the fountain, light vines curling and finding their way around it's structure. It suddenly looked as if the growth around it had been left unattended to for a couple months.
In various other locations around the fountain, plants seemed to have grown in size. From grass, to shrub, to vine, to weed. Much of it looked as if it had gone a couple weeks without attention.
After the ritual, the Ffolk Druidess moved around the Dale. Bright green lights and more displays of growth took place. The effects though were far less apparent than the ritual that took place in the center of the Dale. Spells of Plant Growth cast several times in various locations across the Dale.
All corners of the Dale were touched by the druidic blessing to see enrichment of the crops and improved productivity of their yields. The task was easily done before long. By the words of the Druidess Delen, the blessing was stated to last over the course of a year.
While the Druidess may have made the entire effort seem very involved, in truth it was a relatively simple druidic spell to enhance the crops. She felt a necessity however to add a bit of mystery and showmanship to the act, lest people start to think that such things were so easily completed. The spells cast around the Dale were more than just the enriching Plant Growth spells, but dim glows of green light, soft mists, and vine growth in a few areas that would cause a bit of display and nothing else. A way of visually illustrating the work that was done.
To Delen, the act of enriching the land wasn't a duty to the Dale, but it's privilege, for the gifts of the druids could be taken away just as easily should any act against the balance.

Attacks in the South West: Kohlinginer and Wharftonian troops under command of Commander Alanna Molov, with the assistance of adventurers, have repelled two attacks directed against the Treaty of Light village of Wharftown. The first attack was one orchestrated by Yuan-ti. The second came a few days later, and was an offensive conducted by the brigands of the south-western coast area. In both battles, clear victories were won by the determined defenders.
The Branded Phoenix: A group of adventurers under the leadership of Miss Emilie Everguard have staged an attack upon the Amnish several days prior to the Battle of Clearwater Bay. Due to bravery and dedication against the invaders, an Amnish war galleon and a supply ship were sunk. The War Council hereby offers official recognition and commendation of these deeds against the Amnish.
Battle of Clearwater Bay Three days ago, the Alliance responded to an Amnish attack upon a merchant vessel bound for Kohlingen. The invading war galleon was in response engaged by the Marinsbane, the Holy City's flagship. The enemy vessel was boarded after a series of firing exchanges and taken as a prize of war.
The War Council hereby expresses gratitude to the allies of Kohlingen, as well as the adventurers who assisted with securing this victory against the invaders. For exceptional work during the battle and for spearheading Kohlignen's naval preparations, Sir Tuomas Valo was granted the honor of naming the captured vessel. It has been dubbed the Raziel, in honor of the great celestial crusader.
Preparations in the Heartlands: The Alliance Heartland Expeditionary force under command of Commander Whurak Valtenson of Barak Runedar is continuing to assist in fortifying our southern neighbor for the war.
Aid to the War Effort: The War Council wishes to express it's gratitude to those individuals who have dedicated their efforts in helping the refugees in and people of Kohlingen. There have been several large donations of food, as well as the blessing of our fields for a more bountiful harvest. We encourage the people of Kohlingen and the refugees to express their gratitude to these individuals personally as well.
Investors Sought: Due to the conquests of the Arcanum-Loyalist forces, the wealth they looted from the nations they attacked is being invested to strengthen their military capabilities against the Amian region. The War Council is encouraging private investors, who would be inclined to assist with the war effort by helping to fund additional endeavors, to come forward. Resources remain a vital aspect in any war, and as the Alliance is standing by other settlements of this region with military and material aid, as well as taking in refugees, our upkeep costs have risen notably as a result.
Robert of Caris, Head of the War Council

*Slowly the Dale would be fortified, perhaps resembling old Fort Bendir more again then it has in quite some years.
A moat would have been dug around the wall by the guests from the Treaty of Light assisted by some locals and the wall was strenghtened by adding a sloping ramp at the inside of it, allowing short folk to stand on it and launch missiles at anyone on the other side.
A few times a horn would suddenly sound in Bendir and moments later all residents would drop whatever they were holding and rush off. The miltia rush to the gates whenever this happened and only residents would be able to enter from that point onwards. Others would run to their burrows and grab weapons before rushing to the wall or what seem to be assigned areas where they swiftly left the city to the surrounding lands. The non combattants vanishing like rabbits in their holes (burrows) and appearing very soon after in Amia forest before they all walked back to the Dale an hour or so later. Those fleeing with the young ones were mostly the infirm and elders as a large majority of the females stayed behind, some readying bandages and some grimly readying themselves by retrieving weapons. The dwarven women especially stayed with their clan without exception, rushing from the compound to the village proper together shouting war cries and banging their shields with their weapons as they went. The horrible clamour serving to warn those outside the village of something being amiss.
While the non militia hin seemed to prefer ranged weapons such as slings and wore little to no armor, the gnomes leaned more towards spears and leather armor with a sturdy cap on their heads and the dwarves would wear chainmail or better armor and preferred axes and hammer though some would use the pickaxes they used in the mine as well.
The treaty garrison commanders would be warned of the excercises so they could either warn their men or go along with it.
Lastly the population of the Dale was swelling somewhat as adventurous (Greenspan) hin would be returning to their clan and home in these trying times to assist with defending it. Some of them took along some friends as well. Naturally these experianced hin were more then welcome.
The Dale was getting ready for war and clearly the normally easy going hin, gnomes and dwarves are determined to be a tough nut to crack.*

*Alongside the others working with the Dale from the Treaty of Light, Tuomas would use his spells to try to provide arcane assistance or reinforcement to the preparation of the defenses. Nick would go on to say, after serveral demons and ungodly sorts attacked and killed many guards in Cordor, a man named Sigismund said he came to deliver a message. His message said, "We're not amused by the attack on one of our ships. In response, we've decided to exact a little retribution. Cordor first, then the rest of the Isle."
After Nof, the militia and the council finished reacting to his news, Nick then went on to tell of two shipping vessels from wharftown and of the Horrific scene left in the wake of being attacked. He'd share that the two vessels were tied together with their masts bearing the crucified bodies of the crew. Also that each of the bodies had symbols, of the Infernal Language, burned into their chests. Nick would do his best to describe the symbols from his accounts of the voyage to anyone that would ask about them.

Over the course of the next day, Tuomas would in earnest apply his whole potency of the Art unto completing what he could of the wardings for the Dale, ensuring that any spells that had not yet been cast but were specifically sought had been done.
Extended Dimensional Locks were brought to bring coverage to the remainder of the Dale, use of Fabricate spells was carried out on raw materials to help create structure reinforcements, and catwalks built into the wall for men to fight off of, and also general enhancements to the wall where his engineering skills would allow.
By the time he was finished, Tuomas would be exhausted and utterly drained, practically sleepwalking into his tent and falling fast asleep.

Officers of the Defense force, People of the Dale,
While initial preparations have taken place within the Dale, there is much left to do. With this in mind, I am calling a General meeting of the the officers of the Defense. Those with positions of authority within the dale or adventuring experience are encouraged to attend to either report progress, offer suggestions or receive tasks to help defend the dale.
The time is in two days as the evening closes in and the days tasks are at their end.
- Whurak Valtensson Commander of the Treaty of Light forces in Bendir Dale.
// Righto, This is planned for 9.30PM UK Time (Daylight Savings), I am crap with timezones, so I don't' know what time this is for the rest of you. Its about 10pm at the time of this posting. I hope to see people there.

A subdued Tuomas seemed to make his way back into the Keep and into the Silver Dragon camp, where he began to pull out his spellbooks and spare blank scrolls , preparing and copying a number of scrolls of a particular spell with the intent of dispersing them amongst the more senior members of the Silver Dragon Magi personnel on the camp.
He'd explain quietly as he showed them the spell.
"This spell is of a longer term dependant on how similarly the shape that you change your intended target into is compared to the shape it was. If it is wholly similar with only a slight difference, then the change is persistant. For what our orders intend, this will be the case. My recommendation is the change be into an underwater plate or another innocous shape that can be recovered after the war." he explained before going into the particulars of the spell
((OOC: The spell being taught is Polymorph any Object, for DM reference and is being taught to Silver Dragon and other Treaty of Light forces at present.))

Right. For being taller idiots the following are banned from the Dale untill further notice or I get more information.
-The Banite that started casting spells -> kill on sight. More details on this fool would be welcome. -The mage that released the hellball -> More details would be welcome. -Clan Illith'vir entirely. -> Go make trouble in Cordor West instead of the Dale! -Dirk -> Same as the above.
-Nof
p.s. I'd like to speak with any witnesses that are not on the above list!

*should the posting be public, the following response would be written and sent to General Nof* Quote: General Nof.
Me and Heshgvar handled the body of the Banite. He has been respectfully buried in an undisclosed location with full rites.
The one who casted the hellball was taken care of. I do not know the current status of his body or being though.
Dirk and the Illith'vir-clan are also quite inseparable from each other judging from the events lately.
I am available as a witness to the madness that happened. Others are Sir Abdullah the Mamluk, Lady Vera Talen of Kohlingen, Sir Heshgvar of the Cordorian Army and Sir Sanguinius of the War Knights.

*another note is written, and sent to the mayor*
Mayor Nof,
I would like to ask if this ban be withheld for the Illith'vir sister, known as Felidae. She has disowned the clan, and has no intentions of supporting anything they do or say. I have personally removed her House sigil amulet, and she made her intent known to the 'family', prior to this incident. She is wise to their disruptive ways, and wants no part of it in her life.

*Nick stops in to see Cindle looking a bit disappointed to leave a note for Nof and the conclave and posts messages on the boards and doors around the Dale* I'm not sure if it's just me, but I haven't seen much of the "conclave" around the Dale anymore these days, other then the presense of Nof. Maybe if they were more active things like this (*seems to have copied a previous posting*) could have been prevented or avoided altogether instead of relying on "tallers" to help defend it.*what he copied* Hudson wrote: Right. -Nof I have to say, I'm disappointed that when decisions are to be made around the Dale, folks come from the four of corners of Toril to attend meetings that decide the fate of our town, yet do not participate in the day-to-day living and dealings of the effects of those decisions. Stand up and be accountable for your decisions, or don't partake in making decisions regarding the governing of our town.*signed* Nick Shadow*edited for typos*

*A note was posted near Nick's message* I agree, we're fortunate to have 'taller' friends like the warknights, Tom, Hesh, Abdullah and others being there for us. We shouldn't take them for granted.
It's sad that we have the 'Kohlingeners' and Barack Runedar dwarves attempting to deal with our problems. But no one listens to them, because they're not residents of the Dale and everyone knows that. Even their oh so mighty 'good sense of conviction' acts as a catalyst for the most disastrous happenings. The same said for the so-called 'good doer' tallers, they take extreme measures to 'settle' things. Violence and harsh spells are not the resolve for everything. In turn, they create a problem when it wasn't really much of a problem in the first place!
The many times I had to tell off these 'do-gooders'... and it was coming from me! *A sentence was copied from Nick's posting*Quote: Stand up and be accountable for your decisions, or don't partake in making decisions regarding the governing of our town. ~ Rosary

*A note would find its way up after the hin clad in green and gold trim saw the post.*
"I apologize for my recent absence. I will make a strong effort to make my presence more known around our home. I am sorry for my lack of appearance in these hard times, it was selfish of me and there is no excuse. To those that helped keep my home secure and safe, I thank you, sincerely. I return to my duties with a heart of pride, to once more take a conscious effort in the smallest things, like simply showing my face, or checking up on my friends here. I'm back, and back for good.
I earned the title given to me by Nof as Vigilant Sentinel, in my time as such rank, I let me enthusiasm slip, the very enthusiasm that got me that position initially. For that, Nof, I am sorry. I will not let you or my home, my kin, my family down again.

The Kohlingen tallers and their various allies are under Dwarven command here. I respect their actions and their judgement; and really, the Dwarves of Barak Runedar have been more than generous in arming our soldiers, supplying materials, and now defending our homes.
And they did all that without asking for anything in return. We're less trade partners than just mutually exchanging donations. If you can't trust them to be our friends, then we might as well just pack up the entire town and move us into a hermitage somewhere that no one can find us.
Beyond that, my job is to arrange trade and that's about it, I suppose I could have bribed the banites? We could just pay off everyone who comes to cause trouble but we've always frowned on that in the past. I can tell the west Cordorians that we'll not supply them with drinkable water anymore if you like, but I'd prefer to not turn our town into an extortion racket.

Notices have begun to appear on the traveled paths surrounding Bendir Dale, and inside the town if the populace would allow them. The notices are written in elegant handwriting, the paper crisp and clean with a picture of a variety of "anatomical" drawings of various races like humans, dwarves, halflings and elves and so forth. The pictures have lines pointing to key parts of each species like the heart and the brain and so on and so forth. The very top of the notic has in bold red letters "FREE PHYSICIAN CHECK UPS".
The bottom of the notice reads.
"When was the last time you had a physical? When was the last time you had your eye sight checked, your diet examined? When was the last time you had an oral exam? Want to know what you can do to improve your health and well being?. The Temple of Salandra has the best healers and physicans on the island located in Benwick Hollow, but not everyone can make it to the temple, so we come to the people. In select areas near Bendir Dale and Cordor, physician in training Amelia Warmglow is making house calls and setting up -Check Up- points for anyone who has medical needs and or concerns or just wants to see what can be done to improve their physical well being. Please be on the look out for signs giving directions to her nearest Physician camp, or please feel free to approach her or any other Salandran healer/physician for more information!. Better living through Awarness!".
On each corner of the page, is the lady Salandras symbol.

That accident had little to do with the Kohlingers. It started when the banite attacked people. None of the garisson were involved so the agreement was upheld right fine.
And if idiots didn't fling spells around nilly willy and attack people for no sound reason whatsoever the 'do-gooders' didn't have to intervene. How many 'do gooders' do you see on the ban list?
Jannah makes some good points as well about our dwarven friends and anyone who has a problem with them can either see me or Angus.

That day with the Banite has only been one thing which has been reported since you all decided to stick yourselves inside your homes. Do you even know what it's like out there? It's not as simple as you think.
- A 'do gooder' mage decided to cast a cloud of bewilderment and a 'do gooder' druid threw an inferno spell in attempt to stop a prank which had nothing to do with them. Other innocent bystanders were injured because of the mage and druid. - Someone decided to throw a greater ruin at someone for hugging another! That person saw it as a threat. It wasn't controlled properly, they would go too far taking matters into their own hands. - Another decided to cast stonehold at two other's for shadow dazing each other. It was obvious that they were playing and were good friends! Innocent bystanders were trapped inside the stonehold spell too. - Someone decided to potentially kill someone for placing a darkness spell in the middle of nothing and it wasn't even aimed at anyone. Now isn't that going too far?
My memory can only go so far but I could vaguely recall the many times that these 'do gooders' have acted rashly. Yet, because their judgement is so 'righteous' no one even notices that they're the one's who start the trouble or otherwise, their actions wouldn't be regarded professionally because they're so 'good'. As a resident who is more involved with the day to day occurrences within the Dale, it's my fault for not reporting everything that happens outside the walls. But if you want to fill up the ban list with 'good' people then I won't turn a blind eye anymore. I'll report them, hopefully equal treatment would be given. We shouldn't let them deal with our problems the way they do it, drastic measures.
As for my mention of Kohlingeners and Runedar, I'd rather not publicly point those individuals out. I'd be happy to explain the situation to you Nof.

*another letter is sent to General Nof* Quote: General Nof.
It seems these bannings will amount to nothing as the troublemakers are apparently allowed to loiter outside the walls of the main settlement. The same area they caused trouble in.
Considering the land right between the gate and the carts is an area most used by visitors, I can only see more conflict to arise from this.
I am also concerned of the safety of visitors and my own, knowing that the people who cause these incidents are still allowed to be around. For this reason, I doubt I will be able to visit Bendir without being magically augmented.

A letter is sent, addressed to General Nof, The entirety of the letter is scripted and well handed, seeming to have been sent out from Waterdeep, it's tattered slightly having traveled a great deal. Quote: "Dear General 'Nof',
I am writing this, in regards to the Illith'vir Incident, I am currently out on buisness, and had only just recently obtained this information, I wish to extend a apology, from what little information I have, I take full responsibility of my family, But saying this, The family, has as many different personalities and ways of doing things as a small community, This was done with only individuals involved, and not with the entire families consent, I am responsible for keeping them safe and so are they for looking out for each other, From what I have gathered, this has all been instigated for a Banite having randomly castes a spell slaying my brother, You must understand such an act, and with our own struggles of having been former slaves, Would be taken emotionally for any of us, while the way of going about this was wrong, I admit, It could have been taken care of differently, It's hard to cope with the certain instincts some of us have. I would like to discuss this further, if you would allow and have the time, when I get back from my Buisness, and I have gotten a chance to talk to all those involved, to understand what happened. My regards, Noirel Illith'vir, Head of House Illith'vir, Shadow Monk. // My internet has stopped working entirely, having been faulty as it was already, I haven't had the Time to play Noirel in about a week or two due to it so whenever it gets fixed, I'll let it be known //

*left with Cindle, for Nof*
Mayor Nof,
Someone is telling the Illith'virs and Dirk, that they are permitted to loiter outside the Bendir Gates. We all know a ban means that the person is not allowed inside the gates, but it also means they are not permitted to loiter. They may use the roads, but not linger outside the gates.
Has this been changed? If so, then what's the point of a ban? We just went through all this with Krin, now these idiots are starting trouble.
I think the ban rules need to be put on the sign, and made clear for all to read. This is becoming frustrating, to say the least. I'm tired of repeating what a ban means, to those who are banned, and they just ignore me right in front of the militia. This has been an issue for years, and it needs to be addressed.
Next time, I will just give one warning before exploding on them, this has gone too far.

I saw that the Illith'virs and Dirk are put as Banned Individuals under the 'Banned Individuals and Group' notice. You can find them with Cindle, the noticeboard and near the gates. // viewtopic.php?f=67&t=76084*Rosary makes a copy of a few sentences from this notice* Quote: - Banned Individuals - These individuals are not allowed to enter the town of Bendir Dale. No exceptions. Should you wish to talk to one of these do so out of the town. They are allowed to linger on Dale lands but any misbehaviour (or exemples of outstanding behaviour) should be reported. I stuck to these rules and let them linger outside, however if i'm wrong, my apologies, it should be made more clear as Crow said.

*A note added moments after Rosarys.*
"As Rosary beat me to it, she is correct, or at least as far as I've practiced in the past. Such is why I've allowed Krin to linger often. Only once they are kill on sight are they to be removed.

Oh, I see. We ban them, but let them hang around and taunt, until the pressure rises. Great rule change, that one. You ever notice that there is rarely trouble inside the gates, and almost all of the trouble is outside the gates? This rule change just makes it easier for idiots to do what they do best. Like hiring outsiders to patrol, giving non-citizens authority. People don't even listen to me, and I'm a citizen, what makes you think anyone will listen to a non-citizen? I thought we voted on this. And you wonder why I left the militia. ~~Crow

They are allowed to linger on Dale lands but any misbehaviour (or exemples of outstanding behaviour) should be reported. It's clearly in the rules as Rosy and Theadrik pointed out. If you can't read or have a problem with that you can see me in person and I'll explain once again we don't have the manpower to constantly sweep the road. Militia deaths have sharply decreased since we don't bother anymore as have residents deaths. You're a resident Crow but you have no official power invested in you to command people since you aren't part of the militia so if you do so it's under your own authority. I know you mean well but you should realise trying to lord over people doesn't work when they don't respect you. If you start attacking people the consequences will be on your own head. If your actions will cause harm to militia or residents those consequences will be severe. We want peace and quiet and not a battlefield.
Tom, these bannings ensure they don't do it again inside our walls where our wee ones are. So they serve quite the purpose. If any of them gets reported for anything too grave we will shift the ban to kill on sight.
If you want to avoid the trouble stay inside the gates. It doesn't get much easier. You go in the gates, they can't follow. You hang outside with them, you are at risk.

Yeah, I saw the rule, and responded, no reason to shove it in my face again. Thank you. Lord it over people...really...? I don't know what it is lately, with Bendir Dale defending killers and troublemakers. But I can see where it's headed, it's called Full Circle. Enjoy.

We don't defend anyone. We just don't throw our lives away in vain trying to keep them away when they are loitering outside the walls. Those that go too far are on a special list and can be killed whenever it's possible with minimal colletoral damage.
That's quite the differance there.
I had expected better from you after I defended you several times when you got in fights. The one in the beastman caves comes to mind especially.
Enjoy.

Fourth Set of Samples: Strange Control Console from Bugbear Maze-Caverns (additional sample of biological liquids) *sketches of a strange, almost alien control console, and large green-glass tubes filled with thick, viscous liquid inside of a small circular cavern is ontop* -Observations: Strange console rooted to the ground of the cave, surrounded by tubes filled with ichor, bile, and saliva. Tubes did not survive contact with hellball explosion used to clear out bug bears. The control console did, apparently entirely unscathed. ((Given to Jamian following Bugbear event run by DM Burningoutbright/Hugglebug). Additional books recovered from the same sight before fight broke out, and thus, hopefully intact, were gathered by Kehurin So-Arinth. Will need to work with him to study, decipher, and reverse engineer the control console and discern it's original purpose. -Conclusions: No where near enough data to conclude anything. *A large body of notes on the caverns and location of the caverns in the Chute follow the above notations, plus notes on possible origins, reference material for study, and a detailed report of using a mud elemental to rip the console out of it's mourings in the floor to return with it to the surface as it was the only intact portion of the area* //will post screen cap of discussion with DM Hugglebug later on for confirmation that it was given to jamian.

Within the last week, around thirty well trained elven soldiers and archers arrived in Bendir Dale. They reported to the local authority after their arrival and went to their designated area where they have been stationed.
Every morning they train together and all seem in excellent shape and well coordinated.
After their personal group training they report to the local organization of the troops for further instructions and/or training with the other troops.
Whenever there are no specific new instructions, they perform small patrols between the noon and evening time around the Mylock Hills and Skull Crags, usually in groupsizes of 10 people.
Additionally they have made it their daily routine to chase the wild orcs near Bendir Dale as part of their daily training.

An arrival that baffled and annoyed Nof despite him being gratefull for the help.
He'd inform the guests he'd appreciate prior notice to the arrival of reinforcement in a tone that implies he is not pleased at having received no prior notice whatsoever from anyone.

Military Restructuring: The unanimous proposal of the War Council for a unified restructuring of the Alliance military has been signed by the three Heads of State. The High Command consists of Lord Field Marshall Robert of Caris, Lord Marshall Ulrik Valis, Major 1st Class Whurak Valtenson for Barak Runedar, Major 1st Class Charles Navare for Kohlingen and Lord Major 1st Class Augir Goldberg for the Duchy of Cordor.
Garrison for Uhm: The Alliance of Kohlingen, Barak Runedar and the Duchy of Cordor has offered the township of Uhm reinforcements to safeguard it's population, as well as the safety of Kohlingen for it's civilian population. Military assistance was offered several times, and but repeatedly declined.
Southern Expeditionary Force: The Alliance has dispatched eight hundred soldiers, composed of Kohlinger and Ducal- Cordorian personell, to the City of Cordor by request of the Commonwealth, to assist with the defensive efforts there. Winya Ravena, coordinating with the War Council, has dispatched an additional garrison. Lord Marshall Ulrik Valis was granted command, and oversaw the preperations.
With the return of Lord Field Marshall Robert of Caris from his work in Waterdeep with the Lord's Alliance and it's allies, command will be transfered to him within the tenday. Lord Mashall Ulrik Valis will return to the City of Kohlingen in his stead with an honoary discharge of his command.
War Effort on the Mainland: The states of the Lord's Alliance and it's allies on the mainland have continued to engage the enemy. The Arcanum forces have continued a slow and steady push, but were denied any noteable victories.
Attack upon Uhm: Yesterday afternoon the amnish-arcanum forces struck the township of Uhm located on the north-western coast. One of their War Galleons temporarily anchored in the waters of Wharftown outside of atillery range. The enemy then proceeded to execute prisoners by setting them aflame and dropping them from the masts. Once all prisoners had been executed, the ship set sail up the coast to the township of Uhm. Before it arrived there, thick smoke already began to rise from the north.
A group of volunteer adventurers proceeded north, while Dame Alanna prepared a strike force to engage the vessel. The inhabitants had already been killed and mutiliated in a display at the village before the volunteer adventurers arrived. The volunteer adventurers engaged several mercenaries within the township. The War Galleon then proceeded to open atillery fire upon the township of Uhm, leveling it to the ground.
Dame Alanna's strike force in turn successfully struck the vessel, leading to it's destruction and the loss of it's crew, with the exception of the cowled wizards who managed to escape.
There were no survivors among the population of Uhm. Their bodies were brought to Wharftown after the fighting. With the combined efforts of the clergy stationed at Wharftown, as well as the adventurers present, only a small number could be restored to life. These will be brought to the safety of Kohlingen once they are in a condition to be transported.
Robert of Caris Lord Field Marshall of the Alliance Head of the War Council Commander of the Alliance Southern Expeditionary Forces

One which surprised a certain Elfling equally. She would endeavor to inquire about their presence when she could. But would first pen a letter to the Mayor.
