I was just reading my spell descriptions and came across this little tidbit under True Seeing's spell description:

Additional Counter Spells: Greater Shadow Conjuration

I have no clue how this is possible, so this means one of two things:

1) There is a strategic use for Greater Shadow Conjuration that I am completely unaware of

or

2) This is just an ancient text error.

Anyone know which of these it is?

NWNwiki agrees with this. True Seeing can be countered by spending castings of either True Seeing or GSC. Not very relevant since most mages have True Seeing prepared anyways.

Ah! I see! That is .. slightly valuable, since Greater Shadow Conjuration is a lower spell circle than true sight... that would be difficult to pull off in an actual fight, though.... Maybe in roleplay it could be interesting... Thanks for helping me understand this.
