I see no reason to unban these Kobolds. Go ahead and add them to the ban list Acorn, I would but am lacking names(better add some sort of description too since they rather all look alike except color). They will be free to appeal the matter same as anyone else.

Gulliver would still be dropping off many products in Town Hall such as carrots, turnips, cabbages, milk, butter, eggs and other wholesome foods while the community waits for the bulk of crops to grow and spout to feed the entire town, and soon send out trade once again. He is also often seen watering the lands, chanting in strange dialects to most Halflings, or checking on farmers animals to ensure that they are putting on weight again with the grass growing.
More or less, he is usually covered in dirt from his work, but seems happier then most at the labour intensive work.

Though our fair town has been cleared of evil, our friends still suffer under this cruel device called the Blight. As they have stood by us through times of stife it is now our time to stand beside them and shine brightly in the darkness.
Though our home is now thriving and is alive with possibilities we must not forget the teaching of Avoreen. We must stand tall and ever vigilant. Learning what we can of the evil that striked at us from no where will help our friends and provide us with the knowledge to guard against this happening again in the future.
To that end we go into the dark libraries, in search of hidden and forgotten lore. To turn the tide with knowledge, power, and vigilance.
Any dragonkin with the gift of flight should send Mayor Breazy Goldenleaf - Bendir Dale a note that they will be joining as soon as possible. Without someone there will be ancient information locked to us.
We set forth in four days time. (// tentatively)
May the Defender show us the path to vigilant defense.
Mayor Breazy Goldenleaf // Would like to schedule this for Tuesday April 8th, at 10pm GMT, if everyone is available.

The community of Bendir Dale gathered once more to face challenges that were both old and new.
Town Hall Meeting Notes: -Kurchin of Triumvir was allowed as the guest of honor for this week, to speak to us about the quests we have been involved in. He caught everyone up on the matter of the Chat with a Dragon quest and the new Library one. As well as provided information about who the blood magi were to those unfamiliar with it.
-The quest for the search of knowledge of the blight was voted to continue by the community - as the Shrine of the nearby drow is still blighted. It was decided in this favour so that we understand any more threats to our lands, stop chances of infection from other lands, and mostly attempt to stop suffering across the isle (As we knew it best of all), etc. Nof simply reminded us not to get ourselves killed!
-We also discussed the Commune of Nature spell performed by Gulliver and Kin. The lands are taint free, malnourished - but alive! Great efforts continue to for the land, and spring crops will take some time, but our summer crops should be the most bountiful on record with all the blessings and nutrients now!
-Gulliver and Kin may also be performing another Commune of Nature in the Shrine to better see the situation. It was noted that Boaz and Breazy would come if such a journey happens, to ensure the well being and safety of the druids.
-We introduced two new halflings, May and Rowe to the community. Also it was discussed Wilfire should find a teacher to learn how to fly to better assist the community, and that he will be collecting resources for the better defense of our wall.
-Jannah was announced as Town Treasurer and Boaz as Divine Counselor of the Bendir Dale conclave
-Faskar's situation of dual citizenship was voted in by the community. The community agreed to allow Faskar to have full citizen rights, while also living in Barak Runedar.
-The clearing of the cave will be consulted by the Bronzebeard Clan of Bendir Dale. Breazy and Faskar are charged with meeting with our dwarven house and seeing what aid they could bring, before we approach Barak Runedar. Any uses of the cave and the agreement of finding help to clear in the cave is still undecided.
-Godo the Goblin is now permanently banned from our lands until his situation changes. Also the dragon wrought kobolds known as Warden Songbird and Tzsaris are banished as well.
-The Mayor will be making a list of individuals who are an exception to our bannings of creatures of special circumstances.
-Faskar is also looking into Hallowing the Land, so all undead threats will be slowed and halted.

Population: 750 Demographics: Halfling/Hin (all subtypes) 85%, Rock Gnome 10%, Fey and Dwarves 5% Government: Democracy Elected Offices: Mayor Exports: Fruit, Vegetables, Grains, Nuts, Meats, Cheeses, Baked Goods, Milk. Imports: Raw Quarried Stone, Worked Stone, Metal Ores, Worked Metals, Gem Ores. Alignments: Primarily LN, NG, NN, CN, CG.
Overview: Bendir Dale is located near the centre of Amia Island at a major North-South/East-West crossroads. Despite its modest geographic acreage it serves as a significant net exporter of food goods to markets spanning the entire Island and beyond. A temperate climate, mild winters, ample water supply, well balanced soil texture, and long growing season, combined with a diligent, knowledgeable agrarian-focused society serves to promote an above average crop yield. Small plots scattered about the landscape demonstrate the efforts of residents to maximize the potential of the lands and little space is wasted on large building structures. A walled and well guarded village center is surrounded by fields, farms, orchards, and bosks.
Political Leadership: Bendir is served by an elected Mayor and the Conclave of Bendir Dale. The Conclave of Bendir Dale was formed to establish leaders in the community and to help organize each division (trade, religion, agriculture, militia, etc). Both are advised by the Elder Council comprised of small number of unelected but universally respected citizens of well known repute.
Mayor: Current: General Nof
Town Secretary: Cindle Blimmeaf
Elder Council: Annalee Weatherbee Nof Barshedge Kasselwort Cappelcyll Fendel Oldfur (Fendel the Barkeep) Harry Baldorf
The Conclave of Bendir Dale: Harry Baldorf Jannah Vindle Boaz Leviticus Jeraboam III Theadric Shortwick
The Militia and the Law Bendir Dale is served by a citizens Militia. Service is voluntary. These wardens are keepers of the peace and maintain diligent watch on the borders for monstrous activity. The militia is made up of the Home Guard, the Shields, and the Swords. The Militia serves at the direction of the Vigilant Sentinel, General Nof, and the Mayor.
The Township has 10 Laws carved into the Law Board positioned in front of the main gate. Violations of the Law result in various penalties based on the severity and frequency of the offense and the status of the perpetrator. In addition, a list of banned individuals, races, and groups is maintained in the Townhall for use by the Militia to keep out unwanted visitors and foul mannered louts.
Political Relationships: Bendir Dale has no known treaties or political agreements with other sovereign powers. Tradition is to remain "apart" from the geopolitical activities of the island. Bendir citizens and their leadership focus on retaining their cultural heritage, forging strong community bonds, and going about raising families while enjoying their chosen field of work. In other words, they are community focused, not outwardly focused. Navigation of the islands political winds is conservative from the standpoint of maintaining Bendir's status quo while retaining cordial trade-based relations with as broad a spectrum of other communities as possible.

The Conclave of Bendir Dale The future of Bendir Dale rests in the palms of ALL of our hands. Halflings, gnomes, dwarves and fey a-like have long valued the importance of community and co-operation. In hopes of restoring our land and our people, we have all realized that now is the time to empower others to rise. We have all different strengths and weaknesses – and with us all combining our strengths, we will surely find the answer we have been waiting for.
Our Mayor will continue to be our fearless leader in both times of despair and happiness, but power will be spread out to those whom are deemed the most capable. Each role is extremely crucial to the survival and future of our community and requires a leader. This is not for the meek of heart. Good tidings will come to us all who try and be the change we wish to see!
The Roles and Responsibilities: Note: There are many additional responsibilities then the ones posted here. Our duties will change to the need of the community at that time and we must constantly be flexible to meet the new challenges our community may face. This also means that additional roles may be added, and other roles may be dissolved in time.
Mayor:Our beloved leader. The Mayor will be involved with every aspect of our community. Ultimately, it is up to the Mayor to ensure we are all doing our promises made to the community. The Mayor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Ensuring progress is made and that all are active in their duties -Working with every aspect of the community and maintaining an active presence -In charge of all punishments and legal affairs to ensure fairness (laws, bannings, unbannings, etc.) -In charge of foreign relations and alliances -Expected to fill out and record proper documentation of events -And a great deal of other responsibilities – mostly always remaining flexible to meet the needs of the Citizens of Bendir Dale
Our Current Mayor is: General Nof
Vigilant Sentinel: Our military leader. The Sentinel of Bendir Dale is to be in charge of our militia movement. He must choose wisely of those whom are willing to serve Bendir Dale in a military fashion, and ensure that abuse does not happen in the community. The Sentinel’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Recruiting militia & providing proper training for militia (both physical and mental) -Ensuring the safety of all Bendir Dale citizens -Creating and maintaining a strong structural defence for Bendir Dale -Carrying out special duties or punishments as required by the Mayor
Our current Vigilant Sentinel is: Theadric Shortwick
Divine Counselor:Our spiritual leader of the community. The Divine Counselor has close ties with the Halfling and Gnomish pantheons, as well as a good understanding of other deities as well (familiar with fey and dwarf pantheon is a plus). They will act as an intermediary between our worlds. The Divine Counselors responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Holding monthly festivals and events in honour of all our pantheons -Offering counsel/advice/wisdom of divine matters and serving as a conscious to the community -Expanding and maintaining the deity statues of Bendir Dale -Always meeting the needs of our deities and holding proper communions
Our current Divine Counselor is: Boaz Leviticus Jeraboam III
Keeper of the Lands:Our agricultural leader. The Keeper of the Lands has close ties with our land and all of its creatures. The Keeper will ensure that we ultimately work in balance with the land and that the land remains healthy. The Keeper of the Lands responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Ensuring enough food and water is available and provided to the community -Offering constant counsel on the changes of the land and how we need to adjust to its needs -Assisting farmers and gardeners in any way possible (from nature blessings to showing others good farming techniques) -Inspecting and communicating with animals to ensure they are disease free, healthy and happy -Primary consulter on land expansion and our own exports -Ensuring a thriving ecosystem -Preserving the land and ensuring we don’t strain our beautiful Shire (i.e take too much from the land!)
Our current Keeper of the Lands is: Harry Baldorf
Town Treasurer:Our financial adviser. The Town Treasurer is responsible for ensuring Bendir Dale follows and sticks to a budget. They are our trades expert and will ensure that Bendir Dale is not bankrupt or bamboozled by other nations. The Town Treasurers responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Offering wisdom and advice on every major financial decision / trade agreement -Creating budgets for Bendir Dale -Ensuring local / foreign work is available for the Citizens of Bendir Dale -In charge of the donations fund of Bendir Dale and to constantly see revenue increase -Providing estimates -Ensuring documentation is kept up to date of trade agreements and the flow of gold coins
Our current Town Treasurer is: Jannah Vindle
The above positions will be filled by Mayor Breazy Goldenleaf. Any interested should speak with our mayor and send a letter of intent. These are the current roles of our Community and should be a clear outline of what is expected of them.
The only exception to this ruling is the role of Deputy Mayor. Deputy Mayors are elected in times of emergency by the Conclave when the Mayor is no longer deemed fit for decision making (i.e kidnapped, absent, death - more or less foul dark circumstances that we pray never happen). The Deputy Mayor in this time will have full powers of Mayor until a new Mayoral election or if the Mayor returns and is deemed fit in health and spirit.
May we follow life wherever it may lead us,

Further Explanations of the Conclave of Bendir Dale As the Conclave begins to assemble, it should be noted of where other Citizens fall into play. All Citizens of Bendir Dale have important roles and jobs. We have gardeners, bakers, adventurers, clergy, rogues, shop keepers, librarians, record keepers, and so many more – these are duties the Citizens of Bendir Dale have taken upon themselves to make a living, and also provide essential services to the community. Hard work to make a living is no foreign concept to our peoples.
The goal of the Conclave of Bendir Dale is to improve the life of all Citizens – and progress every aspect of our community. It is not a simple council that advises one leader and sits on their arse… it is about everybody pitching in and trying to do it in a fair and organized manner. We cannot repeat the mistakes of the past of one leader having to take on the entire world by themself. Thus leaders are chosen to best represent a wide range of important aspects of our community.
Here are some frequently asked questions:
What does a regular citizen do if they want to aid in the process of making Bendir Dale a happier and more balanced community? The answer is simple: get involved! Attend town meetings – brainstorm new ideas – participate in every day life with an open and kind heart - volunteer to work with the leaders of the community where your strengths are best fitted! We will need everyone’s help on growing our precious hearth to a place of prosperity and peace once more.
When are the weekly town hall meetings held? This may vary, but look for notices about town hall for the meeting to come. They occur at least once a week in the meeting room of town hall. ((Look here: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=75756))
What is the role of the Town Elders? The Elder Council advises the Mayor and the Conclave of Bendir Dale. It is comprised of a small number of unelected but universally respected citizens of well known repute. They hold the right to dismiss any functionary they deem incompetent and represent the diverse clans in our fair town.
I hope this was insightful and this will be kept updated as more questions arise.
May we wander all the great and beautiful opportunities life presents us with,
The Acorn

Jurisdiction extends to the border of the Amia Forest, foothills of the Skull Crags, Mylock Hills, and the top of the hill along the south road.
We ask that you be courteous and respect the following laws.
Law 1 Assaulting or murdering another person within Bendir Dale's jurisdiction will be paid in kind. Offender face fine, community service, and/or exile from Bendir Dale lands.
Law 2 Those who steal must pay a fine equal in value to the stolen article as well as a donation equal to 50% of the value to Yondalla.
Law 3 Undead, fiends, beholders, mind flayers, and other beasts of unquestionable evil may not be summoned in Bendir Dale's Lands period, nor may shifters take the form of undead. The offender will be asked once to remove themselves/their illegal summons. If they fail to do so, they will be slain.
Law 4 Eilistreean Drow are welcome on Bendir Dale lands but not within the Town Gates unless accompanied by Mayor Breazy Goldenleaf, Vigilant Sentinel Theadric, or Keeper of the Land Gulliver and must be in their company while within the gates. Permits will soon be available for Eilistreean that have proven to the Mayor to be part of the Shrine and of good reputation.
These lists are subject to change at the discretion of the township.
Law 5 Visitors must disarm upon entering the gates. Weapons may only be bared by militia, except in special cases such as overwhelming odds of offenders. Similarly, weapons drawn within Bendir Dale's borders will be asked to be stowed or holstered at the town's discretion. Non-residents who refuse to disarm will be forcefully disarmed.
Law 6 All face-covering items are to be removed upon entering the gates, including hoods. This law applies to citizens and visitors alike. The only exception to this law is a member of the Bendir Dale Militia.
Law 7 Animal companions and familiars are allowed but only if they are not fiends, undead, or any other evil creature. Those of imposing appearances are encouraged to be left outside. such creatures include spiders, and insects. Killing a companion not banned by the law counts as assault against the owner.
Law 8 Shifting is allowed within reason and must be done in front of militia or current resident in authority for mutual safety. Turning into a creature not allowed normally will be punished.
Law 9 Hin, dwarves, gnomes, and fey may live peacefully in Bendir Dale. All other races are prohibited from buying a house or taking up residence on Bendir Dale land. Purchases of house by those not eligible will be immediately evicted and their gold will not be refunded.
Law10 While non-harmful spell casting and pranks are normal, any that cause damage to the town or personal property are subject to a fine for stupidity and the cost of the item or to cover damage. This includes personal injure though if you whine like a five year old over a skinned knee I'm liable to give you a matching black eye.
Above all, use common sense, respect Bendir Dale's authority and Citizens, and when in doubt, ask.
A Citizen is a hin, gnome, dwarf, or fey that resides in Bendir Dale or holds a public office. Dual citizenship is available to hin, gnome, dwarf, and fey but must be approved by the community. Let the Mayor know you would like dual citizenship and it will be voted on the following Town Hall Meeting. Non-Citizens are not welcome to participate in Town Hall Meetings or to apply to the Militia.
// Those approved for in game dual citizenship will get an in game notice and will be free to apply to the Militia immediately and attend the following meeting.

Gulliver posts this message in Town Hall for only Resident's to see.
Children of Yondalla, Garl, Titania and Moradin,
Tarkulian agents have been spotted in the area, lingering outside the gates. This is a reminder to be aware of them, especially after the Necromancer attacks a few weeks ago. They are a threat to our people, and risk poisoning and tainting the newly healing land. I have long seen the works of Necromancers and how they can defile the lands and creatures.
I feel as an Acorn of Baervan Wildwanderer, I have always served to better our lands and community, and hope to continue to do so by posting this message. We have worked so hard to repair our lands, to turn over a new leaf and grow both physically and spiritually! I have not asked much I feel of my kindred, for I have always found purpose, joy and meaning in serving the balance of the wilds. I could not even bear the thought of losing all our progress by Tarkuul.
But today I will ask for extreme alertness from the militia on such individuals in our time of recovery and that no hearth is given to those of Tarkuul.
They are inherently evil and not to be trusted by any means. Their practices and ways are not tolerated here. The law still stands that worshipers of these faith are still banned:
Quote:
Cyricists Banites Deep Duerrans Falazurites Garagathans Laduguerans Lolthilites Loviatans Sharrans Talonites Tiamatians Urdlenians Velsharans Any Worshipers of the "Dark Seldarine" Any Worshipers of Demonic, Devilish, or Daemonic Powers Any Worshipers of the Fury Any Worshipers of the Orc Pantheon Former Members of the Horsemen Chromatic and Shadow Dragonblooded Goblinoids
Necromancers & Blackguards of Tarkuul will have silver tongues. They will be intelligent. They may even want to pretend to be your friends. But know, that there is heart is corrupted and sour. Don't touch them with a ten foot pole! They are vile to the core, and will only seek to use our community for their own needs and dark desires, whatever they may be. And they will certainly try to turn others against you, especially if they view you as a threat to their plans. A paladin once told me - fear is a form of Tyranny. We must stand together, and we must stand strong for what we know is right in our hearts and souls.
To Divine Counselor Boaz - I did not realize the dire situation we faced. I know only today in our town meeting were you informed about the idea of Hallowing the lands, but I would request such efforts are doubled to ensure the safety and well being of our town.
May the Masked Leaf shelter and hide us from their evil - and give us the strength to drive them out!

The council of Elders: -Annalee Weatherbee -Nof Barshedge -Kasselwort Cappelcyll -Fendel Oldfur (Fendel the Barkeep) -Harry Baldorf
Quote:
Name: Clan Bronzebeard Race: Dwarf Elder: Angus Bronzebeard Angus is a gregarious dwarf and a canny trader. Both served him well into integrating his clan in Bendir Dale. Angus ever seeks to expand trade and his clan consists of likeminded dwarves who grumble a lot about halfling foolishness but are actually fond of their neighbours. Angus isn't interested in politics at all but tends to agree with the gnomes of clan Cappelcyll, his foremost trading partners in producing finely cut gems.
Clan: There are some thirty Bronzebeards, two thirds of them male. Quite a few have joined the clan after working with them for years and dwarves who arrive in Bendir looking for a place to stay or live tend to be invited by a Bronzebeard as a guest sooner then later usually. The Bronzebeards have a compound near the Mylock hills where they mine for gems and ores.
Quote:
Name: Clan Cappelcyll Race: Rock gnomes Elder: Kasselwort Cappelcyll Kasselwort (Or Kass for impatient friends) is a somewhat rotund gnome who loves nothing more then to watch a perfectly cut gem sparkle in the sun. Kass negotiated for the Cappelcylls to receive all gems worth cutting from the Bronzebeards in return for splitting the profits, an arrangement that suits them both fine. Kass wealth made it easier for him to be elected on the elder council where he represents the non halfling interests. Some would claim that would tbe the dwarven and gnomish interests.
Clan: There are some forty well fed Cappelcylls who have a manor on the west side of the town, behind the Inn. Members specialise in gem cutting but they also boast some skilled stone carvers and weavers. Cappelcylls tend to spend some time in their youth in the Bronzebeard mines to learn the basic skills of mining.
Quote:
Name: Clan Weatherbee Race: Mostly Stout Halflings Elder: Matriarch Annalee Weatherbee Matriarch Annalee is the oldest hin in Bendir Dale at a grand age of one hundred and ninety seven years and thus generally held to be the wisest inhabitant as well. Unfortunately Bendirs font of wisdom can't be bothered by politics most of the time and prefers to sit in a comfortable chair near a warm heartfire telling tales to her great grandchildren. When she does leave her chair to join a meeting of the elder council catastrophe is expected and even general Nof quiets when she speeks in her wheezy voice.
Clan: Clan Weatherbee is large and inhabits a serie of burrows behind the town hall as they don't all fit in one burrow. When they all gathere there are some seventy five stout halflings of all ages. The Weatherbees specialise by large in trading, providing many cart drivers for the routes around Bendir and are held to be devout followers of Yondalla.
Quote:
Name: Clan Oldfur Race: Mostly Tallfellow Halflings Elder: Bryce Oldfur Patriarch Bryce is a jolly if someone irresponsible halfling. Young for a patriarch he prefers to work as little as possible and spend as much time siping malt beers. Because of Bryce's vice his younger brother Fendel, known as Fendel the Barkeep, all but directs the clan. Fendel is an even handed gregarious halfling that is well regarded by all. Due to his popularity he has been allowed to assume his brothers place on the council of elders which makes him by far the youngest hin on the venerable council (Together with Nof.)
Clan Oldfur doesn't do it's name justice as the only fur they are dealing with is the fur on their feet. The Oldfurs mostly harvest the natural bounties of Amia forest and brew several beers for the tavern run by Fendel. They also have some avid cheesemakers in the family which are sold in the Inn as well. Lastly some Oldfurs are skilled wainwrights and have made many a cart for the Weatherbees to use. There are some twenty five Oldfurs and they all live in or close by the Inn.
Quote:
Name: Clan Baldorf Race: Hairfoot Halflings Elder: Harry Baldorf Harry is a more settled and sedate halfling. Content with life (As long as there are no blights) and loving nothing better then to smoke a pipe next to the hearth with his family around him. He is known to ignore rude and boorish people for years after an outburst and doesn't tolerate 'taller' behaviour such as fighting in his clan. Harry is a great fan of festivals and endlessly makes up reasons to have yet another festival.
Clan Baldorf is as sedate as it's elder. They are mostly responsible for the farmland around Bendir Dale and happily coax good harvests from the fertile soil around the Dale. This strategic position of course gives Harry a seat on the council of elders. The Baldorfs number around a fifty halflings and they occupy a few linked burrows, gathering after work to trade stories and enjoy each others company.
Quote:
Name: Clan Greenspan Race: Halfling, mixed Elder: Lorabella Greenspan Lorabella is a classic halfling, having spent her youth wandering and seeking new frontiers. She now spends her days counseling others on the way of the world.. She is a retired adventurer who now enjoys the spoils of victory along with her kin. Lorabella has no seat on the council as her clan is too small but since she has Nof's ear her influence certainly is felt.
Clan Greenspan consists of adventurous halflings. Many of them have made long journeys and usually about a third of them isn't in the Dale at any time (Or even on Amia.) The militia also largely consists of doughty Greenspans, a fact Lorabella is keenly aware of and something she ensures Nof doesn't forget either. Clan Greenspan is also quick to adopt adventurous hin who wish to settle in the Dale and even adopted an elfling. There are some thirty Greenspans but you'll seldom if ever see them all together. The most well known member of the clan is Jayek who tends to Yondalla's shrine in his retirement.
Other notable clans in Bendir include the Whisteepockies, Thorrowfire, Tumbleleaf, and Cobcrunchers.
Ooc: It's quite possible to join any of the above clans, through roleplaying or starting out as one. If you plan on doing the second I'd like you to contact me first though.

Bendir Dale sees a resurgence of plant-life after a series of unusual events that brought together townsfolk and visitors alike. The orchard is once again filled with healthy fruit, crops have been planted, and beautiful flowers with golden petals have begun to sprout in patches across the southern portion of the Dale.
Gulliver the Acorn had taken this opportunity to show some of the taller visitors the basics of planting and gardening. Cabbages were planted and were watered near the Orchard. Gulliver also held a class about the importance of water reeds in the Dale's ecosystem, and replanted quite a few reeds and made tallers clean the lake with him!
Cabbage Planting
Reed Class - Cleaning, re-aligning reeds, picking out pollutants in the water.. and Kyra cleaning the juice presser since she wouldn't swim!

The libraries where searched by a large group of brave small folks and eventually one taller that stumbled upon the group. Systematically they searched through vile and horrid information in the off chance something that would help save other could be found. No matter how disgusted, disheartened and exhausted the short heros became they forged ahead and never faltered.
The evil creatures that tried to bar their path was nothing compared to the vile information deep within the Vampire Stronghold. Jannah and Breazy were the only ones with the stomach for the task and when they were through the question came to Breazy of what to do with the books and papers, "Burn every peice of paper and bit of vile research there is." Acorn in the form of a fire elemental quickly seen to the task of stopping the spread of evil.
The final chamber tested our heros will to continue. Blood covered the floor, a throne of bones sat between to magical tube containing large brains and along the wall were creature subjected to the vampires hospitality. At the sight of a dwarf in one of the tube Breazy beat on it sobbing until it broke and searched the body for anything to take to the dwarves to tell of the identity of their kinsman. Finding an signet ring she turned back to the battle so see that the evil creatures had been over powered by the now filthy and exhausted hin, gnomes, and notable one kobold and one human. Theadric sickened beyond endurance tried valiantly to hold his lunch and failed but immediately pulled himself together to see to the matters at hand. With a few words from Breazy he walk to each tube busted it open and Acorn again as a fire elemental destroyed every pitiful creature subject to the vampires research, if not ending then definitely slowing the advancement of their dark desires. Once completed, exhausted from the fighting and extended use of magic, Acorn collapsed and an end was called to the search.
Though they did not exactly accomplished what they had hope destroying such vile and horrific acts and documents was still an accomplishment of a different sort. In a way they did actually do exactly what they set out to. The stood steady against darkness and evil shinning brightly to give other a light of hope in dark and trying times.
// Thank you to all that showed up and participated. I hope everyone enjoyed. A special thanks with cookies to slkNihilus for taking the time to set this up for us and oversee it. HIN HUGS!!

OOC: I was just looking over the forums and thought "Wow! this looks great!". I want to take a quick moment to thank everyone, DMs and Players that have helped to update the forums and participated and spent time in events. You're efforts have made it easy and fun to be a part of the halfling community an Amia. You are all awesome sauce and I sincerely appreciate all your time and work. Especially BlueSquirel (Acorn) and Hudson.. make sure to give these two lots of hin hugs and love. They totally earned the harassment of a hin-pile!

Thanks for the kind words Breazy! You were one of the players to really ignite the flicker of an active Dale again and it's been great having such an active Mayor. Kudos to you!
Great to see the community so lively once again as well. Best group of player's yet I've gotten to share the Dale with ever!
Also excited that we've had our first major DM since the days of gothic/bobo and appreciating Hudson's work.
Looking forward to the RP and community fun to come

The Dale is abuzz with rumors as the council of elders has decided to convene! The reason is unclear but seems to have been a letter which has circulated among the elders and caused Nof to go red in the face as he almost ran from elder to elder, waving it around.
Invited to attend the meeting are the gnome known as the Acorn, the kobold known as Kurchin, Sentinal Theadric and Mayor Breazy.

The noticing of the notices is noticed and noted by a notable Hin with a chair as rumors abound.
He chooses one of his posters carefully, then hangs it on the inner gate with some amount of mirth. It is the one with the giant yellow smiling face-sun over a field of green with a caption of 'Keep on shining, Dale Folk!'

Bloody hells, looks like someone forgot to fill this out. Soooo here we go!
-Talked about some taller Krin, he's banned and apparently wants to hunt us hin. We're all looking forward to kicking his teeth in, but the Mayor wants us to be careful.
-Mayor also mentioned for us to be nice to Paladins, since they apparently want to protect us and stab evil things. Just if they start imposing their tallerish heathen views on you, tell the Mayor or another leader and they'll tell the Paladin's Boss Knight Mans to back off!
-Talked about expanding the town. Everyone seemed pretty excited about it, wanting more trade and more protection. Just remember to explore beyond the walls and take in the wide benefits of adventuring regularly! Excitement, treasure, most importantly - a good tale.
-Caves. Apparently the Bronzebeards and a couple of dwarves from Barak Runedar are gonna clear out the caves. They want the militia and some willing arms there though in case there's some nasty surprises!
-Ended the meeting with some fabulous stories and a food fight. Special credit goes to Rosary for covering Crow in cotton candy.

A short and sweet letter is left at Town Hall for any who would inquire about his where-a-bouts.
My main goals for the community has been fulfilled - to see the curse lifted, to feed and quench a malnourished land, and to finally see flowers bloom!
I will continue to offer any Druidic services I can to the community as need be, but will keep continue my journey to heal other sick lands and protect them from evil.
I wish nothing but good tidings to this community. I will continue to visit Bendir Dale, and it warms my soul that my citizenship has been restored by the Town Elders.
May you all follow wherever life leads you,
Gulliver Goldwoods, the Acorn
//Stickin' around as a player, this char is just going on a druidic "sabbatical". Going to be wandering some other lands IG with him, also brewing up another character and still playing Brandy.

//No, it's a sad farewell. I thought it safe to play a hin again with the gnomish reins so firmly in Gullivers hands. Now we are again nearly gnomeless and it's a sad day when Bendir Dale isn't sporting at least one prominent or mildly aggravating gnome PC. Farewell Gulliver, we hardly knew ye!

Incident Report
Name of offender(s) / description(s): Quickdraw, Sakhr
Disturbance(s) committed: Attacking and killing two, attacking others with intent to kill, in Bendir Dale.
Description of the event: I was on the hill, facing north, and I noticed the two listed offenders, and an elf I believe to be Sheverashan, casing the area. Not long after, Quickdraw approached the gold dragon kin Kyra, and they stepped around the corner to the east wall, to speak.
I saw Sahkr popping in and out of my distant vision, to the south by the gate, so I came to ground level near the bench. Kyra and Quickdraw's conversation became heated, and steel was drawn. When I saw he meant to take her life, I fired upon him, and Trinaur charged into battle. She fell, and a companion of hers rushed to help her, but Sakhr had come into play by this time, and her companion fell as well, in the globe of darkness. I continued to attack both of the listed offenders, as each came into view, and eventually they ran south. I would not pursue them alone.
Beldor had returned, and I asked him to remain, as the listed offenders are known for multiple attacks. An innocent bystander Raised the two fallen, and they came inside the gates, for safety and rest. Beldor did some footwork, and reported that the two listed offenders fled to Tarkuul.
Other witnesses (if available): Beldor, Kyra (fallen), Elander (fallen), bystander (name to come).
Signature: Crow
Once again our hospitality is abused by criminals sheltered by Tarkuul.
I strongly urge to both adress the council of Tarkuul about this and question their so called neutrality and to strenghten our defenses.
The proposed tower near the carts should be build forthwith as we have the materials needed and we should find other ways to safeguard our inhabitants and visitors. Perhaps we can acquire golems like Kampo has or find an even better way to dissuade violance on our lands.
I urge anyone with a good idea to step forwards with it and that we discuss this at the next townhall meeting.
May Yondalla watch over us all.

Hey Gents,
Just this question popped into my mind, aye? Is Quickcrawl a human lad, dodgy-type fighter, wielding a curved thin-blade and rapier? And more importantly, is this other lad a shadowdancing mage cloaked in dark robes and whatnot? Because if so, I think I ran into them once before. The sneak-mage is a Necromancer who likes to use Darkness and Shadowjump. The other fellow is a Dodgy-Fighter, much like you could say Mr. T or myself.

I'd like to push a 0 tolerance notion on the banned criminals of Bendir Dale. If they're banned due to their race, affiliation or actions all the same, they're to remain banned. No matter what. Atleast until the community and the Elders deem them safe to linger. Until then, they're unwelcome in our home, and will be treated as such. Meaning it is out of Breazys right to unban people. That should be something our community should agree upon for it is all of our safety in concern when they come to our gates.

Yes, we move the walls as propose previously to the edge of our lands and fence in the carts putting two of guards to watch the stupidity. Building a trading compound around the carts would be better but for an immediate solution.
With the proposal of moving the walls a watchtower is not needed. As we are using the base materials already there, and those already being collected, it is both more economic and feasible to simply add on to the existing walls and keep this kind of stupidity out all together.
Adding golems is not a bad idea however we would need to materials (not easily obtained) and someone with the knowledge to build them (also not easily obtained). So if anyone has a proposal on this please let me know and well see if it is doable.
For now our best course is to have the additions built and either moved up the river or magically transported and move the gates as proposed.
I have always thought and will continue to argue that a watchtower is a worthless expense that simply doesn't do enough to constitute the added cost or labor. For now you might think of moving at least one guard, two if you can spare them to the cart area and start tossing folks that are not welcome back on them, as previously requested. I will make sure these have wands of see invisibility to ensure no one simply slips through.
Let me know if you can assign the guards and we'll go from there.

This has ALWAYS been the mayors domain. So because ONE person who was given a second chance as proven a liar you think tradition should be changed? Missus unbanned a large group and was proven right for it. And more very few have actually be removed. I think the militia should be doing their job more then their wouldn't have the ability to commit such acts. After all Sakhr was never unbanned but was there all the same.

Breazy. This is about the safety of kin. Not your authority. If I believe that it should be up to the community vote as to who we feel safe to let in our gates after they've openly committed a crime against us. Not just you. This is not a dig at you. This did not happen in our gates. Taken out of sight of the militia. Do not blame us for this. If you feel I am doing something wrong. Tell me. But I reserve the right to reply to your suggestions the same way you do mine.

-Theadric.
So that being the case how exactly is this constructive to the discussion of greater safety? Sakhr was still banned and committed the act. Quickdraw was not but this didn't happen inside the gates so his ban or unban simply doesn't enter into the discussion, if it did then so would the matter of law enforcement as well. Both are currently banned and will not be given another opportunity. So the complete comment is irrelevant and does nothing for the current discussion.
