If so, he's a level 60 monster who was so powerful he pushed Amia away from the mainland.

Bro-Dog can sometimes be seen riding across the frozen countryside in a sleigh driven by 10 million flaming rabbits. On one night of the year that he never announces, he breaks down the doors of many homes and, if children have left their stockings above the hearth to dry, fills them with severed feet. Some people say the Northern Lights are created by a special electromagnetic frequency that occurs when he flexes his pectorals.

Modern scholars on orcish history also theorize that the figure known as Bro-dog is actually the father of Gruumsh. And that the son attempted to usurp the father's position in ages past. It was not Corellon, in fact, who remove Gruumsh's eye. It was his father, Bro-dog. The elves simply used the incident to further elven propaganda when justifying their migration to Toril ages ago.
The rite of the Flaming Scree Rabbit is the most holy rite in the worship of Bro-dog. A rabbit is taken, bathed in ritualistic oils, and then set ablaze to scree into the night.

No, no, no... It refers to the guard dog of the Grove, likely the Ranger Captain himself, or so he's been called.
No.

I feel like I've missed something. And I'm thankful for that.

Boy, where do you think Bro-dog got his grace from?
I just tend to forget about all the creations I have made over the years.

Your disdain encourages me, Ice, for it brings to mind the tears which you weep at merely the sound of my name from within another's dream. Tears which fuel me, inspiring my most radical inner rage which cannot be quenched by neither mortal nor immortal. Quake, for the reckoning is fast approaching.
So it is said, so shall it be.

In this dance we may waltz the whole eternity, at the rhythm of mine laughter, bursting and echoing through these hollow halls each time you step on your own feet. The only tears you may see are product of your ridiculousness.
So I am going to finish this here and say YOUR MOM.

I wonder what became of Bro-Dog's holy toga...

Cherish the time you have, for the eternity of which you seek is but a pittance of the time of which I shall sustain. It is inevitable that all shall come to an end, for the darkness is ever encroaching and shall one day eclipse the sunlight that is your life. And yet, I shall remain. Cold. Purposeful. Unstoppable.
For I am the eternal Juggernaut of existence. I shed no tears for those lost souls, for they are but grains of sand slipping betwixt my fingers. The arrows which you seek to sling against me are but like stones cast against a wall of granite, impotent in their inability to penetrate it's defenses and helpless in their inability to grasp the futility of their aim.
It is but the nature of Life to rebel against that which you do not understand, young one, and for that I do not begrudge you. For mine is the Purpose. The sole, inexorable law of existence. Impossible for mortals to grasp. Impossible for immortals to appreciate. For in the end, all shall succumb to the gravitonic weight of my coming.
Cherish, young one, and be forever grateful of the time you have. For once it's course is run, thou shall know truly what eternity is.

I'm still mindfucked after the first time I "role played" with Bro-Dog. References to burning rubber, a completely uncharacteristic Orc, an obsession with pants, etc.

The best lead you can find is from library of Winya Ravana, simply due to the fact that the elfs been longest on Amia. There has been several occasions in the legends where this creature was shortly mentioned. However, sights of it remain scarce as the creature is elusive itself and highly adopted illusion school casting, or so is thought due to the several different tales going about of its form, origins and powers.
I would recommend highly researching this in IC, been curious of it couple times myself, but simply haven't been able to gather enough information of it. Hope you have better luck.
Apocryphal literature states that Bro-Dog is so fecund that he can impregnate with a glance. This oversaturation of Bro-Dog offspring led to several earth mothers prophecying the Great Broluge, a literal flood of Bro-Pups. And so it was that Bro-Dog built a wooden skyship that he could not beget with child and took all of the greatest beasts of the earth to safety: the llama, the parrot, the star-nosed mole, the pig, a couple of awesome dudes from Toronto, an orgy of bonobos, some radioactive isotopes as well as Lord Bearington's ancestor, Theodore Ruxpin.
It is said that after 40 hours of intense Broluge, a Bird of Paradise was seen flying over the mountain of Bro-Pups with a bag of weed. Bro-Dog shared this bounty with the two awesome dues from Toronto, Theodore Ruxpin and the bonobos; the delivery is widely interpreted as Bro-Dog's promise of love and peace to the world.

I had already contacted the few who seemed to have been offended or had broken immersion do to Bro-dogs presence.
So I would like to just put it out that the NPC along with Othar and Bearington are made purely for comic enjoyment as has been requested for less serious, world ending events. I hope no one truly takes things like their stats, and ridiculous means of fighting or escape too seriously.
That said, there is reason for them being there in regards to plot, though we have made them to be directed to a different audience than those seriously involved in plots. My intentions is that it leads some of you into those larger plots over time all the while giving entertainment and loots to those who put up with my horrible jokes.
All that said, if the character truly is a train wreck we rather be without, then I will no longer use it in game and find another less "power abusing" NPC to use in its place.
When in doubt, do as Silent does and possess a Slaad that wears a top hat and monocle while running around Amia forest eating people. Then messily regurgitating them later.

Comic relief stuff is fine. While it doesn't appeal to me, I know not everyone on this server is here for the same thing.
My only issue at all is for DMs to be a little more mindful of when and where they do stuff like that. Make sure everyone involved is on the same level. For instance, I saw Bro-dog show up outside of the Dale, I groaned some words OoC, and my PC went about his grumpy up-tight RP elsewhere. As someone said before, nothing made me interact with the PC or witness his feats or absurdity and the world kept on turning.
Just as long as we don't go back to the days of Cluckzilla randomly attacking people in guarded cities. When my PC is on his way to a meeting to discuss plans for the Brog war and gets two-shotted by a chicken because apparently he looked it wrong, that's when it's immersion breaking.

I think at least part of this worry about Bro-Dog came from me, because I misunderstood -several- things about my encounter with Bro-Dog in the past.
I thought Bro-Dog started a fight with people, and thus I was upset about his stats being somewhat absurd. I was wrong, he did not start or intend for that fight to happen, really.
I thought he raised himself and treated the fight as if it didn't happen. I was wrong, a person raised him and I didn't see it, and I assumed the worst.
These two things made me think "Why is the DM trying to undermine our own characters with this", but in fact, I simply misunderstood several things; Bro-Dog was never supposed to fight people, and his stats were meant for comedic value. I get that, and appreciate comedy, and am sorry I was upset about it. I also thought Bro-Dog was un-killable, but apparently he is very killable, the other PC simply raised him out of my view.
Sorry if I made anyone (mostly the Mahtan) upset or worried about what I said! It was all my own misunderstandings that I should've sorted out before assuming anything.
I do not mind comedic relief at all, even Tarkuul has it. For me it just demands more of me to not let my cleric of grumpy cat pile in on the silliness.

You people get it all wrong. Chuck Norris is who Bro-Dog plays as when he has free time.
That said, I had never heard of BD and one day, he showed up and watched Rashad kill the Dominagus. Then promptly hopped into the Elder Brain Brine fluid and disappeared. I guess he needed a bath.
