You still get the initial skill bonuses and feats.

Soooo
Code:
Hardiness vs. illusions: +2 racial bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting spells.
Offensive training vs. reptilians: +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against reptilian humanoids.
Offensive training vs. goblinoids: +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against goblinoids (goblins, hobgoblins, and bugbears).
Defensive training vs. giants: +4 dodge bonus to AC against giants.
Skill affinity (listen): +2 racial bonus to listen checks.
Skill affinity (concentration): +2 racial bonus to concentration checks.
Spell focus (illusion): Gnomes add +2 difficulty class to any illusion spells they cast. This counts as the feat so characters are able to select greater spell focus (illusion) at first level.
Low-light vision: Allows them to see better than normal in the dark.

All of these would remain?

Yeah, I just meant stat wise :P
And yes, you get the 'bonus feats' of your original race, whatever it is (elf, dwarf, halfling, gnome, et.) Humans lose the +1 skill point if they go genasi though. (as no longer human!) but still get the initial bonus feat.

Yup, all of those remain.

EDIT: Here's my Hin Earth Genasi showing the racial traits (Note the most definite lack of Hin -Str modifier): http://imgur.com/a/na8tL

Gnome Earth Genasi. Nothing quite so cool. I have yet to level up my ranger. Cheese is tasty.

Mine has moss for moustache, rock for skin, bark for nails, emeralds for eyes, and a soft tiny little heartwood gnome heart full of mystery and adventure and heartedness. What do you guys have?

Anyhow, gnomes are great, but I still have a problem with my booty. And assistance regards to that? As a reminder: I keep getting the "You have been booted" message upon trying to log in with an existing character, whether old or baby new. My CD Key just may have been acquired via an illicit channel, but here's no-one to judge, right? And since I am a lazy bum, can I just try with a new CD Key? Does that mean I have to reinstall the game?

There's a file in the NWN directory named "nwncdkey", open that in notepad and change the CD keys!

If you have to, hit gog.com and buy diamond for $9.99 (US$) and request a CDKey for multiplayer. They'll send valid CDKeys to you, then do what Kamina mentioned.

Wicked hax, bro. To note myself lest I forget vmhce.

EDIT: So, when I try changing the last letter of the last line, it's an invalid CD Key. Should I try changing the whole lot to something entirely random? I'll give it a go.
EDIT2: Nope, the bitch still hates me.

Bioware were smart enough to only produce so many valid CDkeys, they sent the list of all of them to GOG.

Unless you're willing to pay, you're going to need to find a virus-ridden cracker.

The question is, why would you want to store gold? You can hold an indefinite amount, and it weighs nothing...

And I doubt we want that; that'd make the death penalty not really a penalty.

Thinking about doing a DC companion request. Basically I'm looking to use a shade as a base. 70-80% bigger, with vfx and effects to it!

How can I practice and customise it whilst I look at it? It's not gonna for a while yet and I'm not good at this sort of stuff tbh!

I got a custom module that Kaminas gave me,

Any words of advice and how to put this into practice for myself?

Thanks in advance!

Shifters: Do you just need 5 Druid or do you also need 13 WIS (to be actually able to use level 3 spells)?

There's a fine line there, and it makes a lot of difference in starting abilities.

Shifting minimum 5 levels of Druid for feats and req for shifter, as far as wis was concerned I thought wis is good for spells (like you said 3rd level) and maybe a base to use for epic shifts. Mine has 15 base WIS, is there any downsides to lower wis for shifters otherwise apart from maybe losing epic forms?

All I can confirm is that the Dire Tiger Shifter version is plain old Haste, and while I forgot to time the actual duration, I bet it was ten rounds.

I think DC's are calculated something like 10 + ½ Shifter Level + Wisdom Mod

The Wiki Says:

The maximum useful spellcraft level for saving throw bonuses is nominally 100, as the bonus counts toward the +20 cap on saving throw bonuses. (The maximum benefit may be achieved earlier if other bonuses apply.) However, this goes up to 105 if dealing with a prohibited school.

So it looks like it.

It's been Dodge on the AC stone since before the HAK. I suspect inprison666 may look back at his or her post and curse the ease with which you can say Dodge but mean Deflection, and vice versa.

The NWN wiki says it is deflection AC, so the item itself had to be changed. Silly Ube.

Do damage immunities stack?

Barricade of Swords
They also gain 5% damage immunity to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage, +1% per Charisma modifier, to a maximum of Knight Commander level.

If I have this and a special ability that gives 20 percent damage immunity or gear that gives damage immunity.

The wiki says yes, but I am just confirming that!

+5 AB is 1 mythal slot
+4 Enhancement is 1 mythal slot
+5 Enhancement is 4 mythal slot
Weapons have 4 or 5 mythal slots available

What exactly is the reason for having +5 enhancement cost so many mythal slots?
What is the point of ever having a mythalled +5 enhancement blade?
Why even give the option of having +5 enhancement mythallable?
Why if it sucks so much does it cost such a big mythal to get the ability (from a mechanical point of view, not RP)?

With +4 enhancement and +5 AB you end up with a weapon that has only a difference of 1 dmg BUT, that weapon has 2 or 3 free mythal slots (and the mythal investment is pretty much the same), so you get dmg bonus and/or vamp regen and/or keen and/or massive crit, etc.

If it costed only a greater mythal to have a +5 enhancement weapon, I would understand its purpose.. but since that isn't the case..

Anyone understands or knows the answers to these questions?

The reason for the price difference is that +5 Enchantment is +5 Damage as well as +5 AB. Whereas +5 AB is just the AB, not the damage.

As long as GMW is +5 I will fight any attempt to make +5 AB on weapons worth "more", especially given the fact that GMW/Bladethirst/Keen Edge/Vestment aren't subject to dispel and can be extended out to almost an hour on most Classes that can cast it, Vestment lasting double that length of time.

666WaysToHell wrote:

Doesn't make a lick of sense for the above reason, and because +4 is 1 power, therefore +5 AB +4 enhance on a weapon (which is standard) is only two powers with a single point of damage difference.

-

A a suggestion cap GMW/Thirst/Vestment to +4 and make +5 enhancement 1 or 2 powers. Force every class to invest in +5 via the mythal system.

I'm going to say this idea sucks. +5 Enhancement requires a flawless mythal. In all my time on Amia I've seen exactly one; that was dropped by the DM after we killed the dream lich. So basically only the boss grinders are going to have access to the +5, and screw the dedicated casters?
