The closest I can find is from Races of Faerun, which details the migration of elves to the realm of Faerun. Of the three first-generation settlers, the green elves, avariel and lythiel, only the green elves still populate Faerun in significant numbers. The descendants of the green elves are the the wild elves, who abandoned civilisation after the Fourth Crown War, and the wood elves, who cross-bred with second-generation settlers such as the sun elves and moon elves.
I suppose it makes some sense to declare the eldest elves in Faerun as the first, 'pure' elves. I'll try and find anything else.

That'd probably be something about how moon/sun elves came from some other plane or whatever (it's confusing) whereas yeah wood/wild are... more native. I'm fairly sure I read this in one of the history of FR bits or Races of Faerun.

Just a reminder if you need the canonical FR height/weight for elves (including drow) you can check here, a while back I put in the table for them (I also clarified how weight mod works since people seem to have a hard time getting the right often). Elves in base D&D are shorter than humans with elves being even shorter. Elves in FR are around human height with drow being slight shorter (about the height that elves are in other D&D settings). However it is good to note that those tables are the average ranges, you can always have odd outliers, although oddly large drow would most often be caused by some mixed blood, possibly human or demon as that is a fairly common practice among drow.

In 4e they changed this to split the elves into elves and eladrin for whatever weird reason and redid the migration story a bit. The 4e stupidity can be ignored for Amia, thus all elves are in fact "true" elves.

Evermeet: Island of the Elves is a great book to read if you're looking for elven creation myth, how elves came to Toril, and other stories which really flesh out the persona behind many elves. It should be noted that not all of the information in those stories would be accepted by all elves as how it happened, but rather it is one version of a creation myth amongst others. (Orcs would have a different version of events, Drow are told different versions, humans likely wouldn't have any idea, and even much of the information would have been lost to the Elves!)

Its fine to have characters that are different than the norm (Within reason, no ten foot tall halflings), but you should always realize what the norm is and have a reason for why your character is different, even if its just something like being shorter due to near starvation as a child.
Really though you shouldn't rely on being physically different from the norm as a way to show how "unique" you character is, because really things like that are just a gimmick, what makes the character unique is their personality.

Reading on the Ethereal Plane in the d20SRD, it states that it does not have any gravity. Wouldn't that mean that the casting of Haven or (Greater) Sanctuary would make your PC float away until the spell wares off to plummet to their hilarious deaths?

When you're ethereal, you have mental control over your movement. You'd only float away if you willed yourself to. If you did that, though, and were dumb enough to strand yourself in midair when the spell ran out, then sure, you'd fall.

There's shops down there with the same default inventory as the Cordor shops of Hil'rash, Haur, and the gnome glove seller. I think they're inside one of the buildings though, not out in the open market.

If we are talking quests. I know "Sigmund's muse" can be completed, but how about "lets have a ball"? It requires flowers as the first item, but I recall them being in the area that got destroyed or isn't accesable anymore do to the situation in Khem. Are there flowers anywhere else?
Also, what are concidered witches? There is a witch hunter job, but this being a high fantasy setting makes the definition a bit difficult.

So, in the spirit of Gandhi here:
"Be the change you want to see in the world." Yes, I ~might~ be returning, it all depends on school work atm, but I have a question:
I'm curious, what does it take for a paladin to "fall," as well as get an alignment change? Is it just purely subjective about what happens within their life, or is there some DM intervention needed? Is the order specific (Fall then change, change then fall)?

Paladins fall either because they violate the dogma of their deity or they violate the principles of being a paladin. A fall does not require an alignment shift, but an alignment shift requires a fall. When a fall is warrented is up to the DMs or the player of the character, who can of course request it when he feels a chapter of the character's story leads to it. Once fallen, it also is up to the DM to determine if he successfully attones or not.
What it takes for a paladin to fall can be a lot of things, and it depends a lot on the deity. I am sure for a paladin of Mieliki, a paladin of Torm, a paladin of Moradin and a paladin of Milil these can all be very different. Mieliki will likely punish acts against nature, where Torm might be stricter in regarding matters of loyalty and honor, while Moradin in contrast may fall a paladin for grossly violating cultural traditions. Blatent acts of evil or chaotic nature will fall all of them however.

Thanks for that Pony, some more questions popped into my head:
~Can~ you create (I'm guessing via request) a paladin who's fallen at the start (i.e. once created, gets a fallen widget)? And if it is, can you play it so that they either get atoned or find another god/goddess to serve? Can you still take Paladin levels if you're fallen?

In pen-and-paper you can not take paladin levels if you have fallen. As the fallen widget is a custom tool however, I think mechanically in nwn you can, unless your alignment has also been moved from lawful good. If you want to play a fallen paladin seeking to attone right from the start, I think you should simply write a request for it. I do not see why it would not be possible. Quote: A paladin who ceases to be lawful good, who willfully commits an evil act, or who grossly violates the code of conduct loses all paladin spells and abilities (including the service of the paladin’s mount, but not weapon, armor, and shield proficiencies). She may not progress any farther in levels as a paladin. She regains her abilities and advancement potential if she atones for her violations (see the atonement spell description), as appropriate.
Like a member of any other class, a paladin may be a multiclass character, but multiclass paladins face a special restriction. A paladin who gains a level in any class other than paladin may never again raise her paladin level, though she retains all her paladin abilities.

The whole Fall dynamic is actually really interesting and I'm a little sad that not many PCs end up going through the whole thing (not to say that none do, I've seen and could name a good few). Creating a Pally and starting Fallen is perfectly valid I would say (obviously though it would be up to DMs), although IMO it would be better to make a paladin and let it progress naturally to get the most out of the experience. Of course, you may end up not Falling, and scripting your character's path in order to ensure it would take the fun out of it. You could make a paladin with a specific personality that might make them susceptible to a Fall (fatal flaws are good for this, as are out-of-the-box character relations ie evil or chaotic or distressingly damselfied brother/fiancee/etc), and if you happen to stay on the straight and narrow you should end up with an interesting story regardless. But this is just how I would do it, might not be your thing. If you're interested in the dynamic maybe ask some players who've had PCs go through it long-term, I think Madrik is a rather well-known example, Zanthair's Isendu't'tar is another (though not a paladin and also super evil).
I really wish I had the discipline to play a Paladin but honestly the good gods are so boooooooooooring to me. Though there are some neutral gods which sponsor paladins, Hoar is a big one.

I have been playing an orog in the Underdark on B, and gotten to the point (lvl 11) where the ogres are becoming less of a challenge, but I can't find an area that suits my lvl. Can anyone recommend some areas in the underdark that are tougher than ogres but not full of beholders etc like some of the other areas I've found? Something on the lvl of she'kats - Forest of Despair.
Also if anyone has an underdarker around that lvl I am on in the evenings US time on weekends and sometimes on Monday or Wednesday. My toon's name is Raaz.

How do bottled companions work dress-up barbie wise?
What does the interface look like for giving back items? How many items can it carry? Do I regain any armour/weapons I give it? Can I make it sheathe weaponry?
Am I asking too many questions?

As far as balance goes for DC items, how would two +3 abilities, with nothing else, rate on a pair of bracers?

Fairly well given we have belts with +6 and a pair of bracers already with +6 Dexterity, and 2 belts with +4 Abilities and Freedom. At least I would approve that balance wise.

What about two +4 abilities, or would that be pushing it a bit too far? I'd just like to know what's in the realm of possibility before executing any Roleplay for such an item

Am I asking too many questions? They come with one long sword, one set of clothing, one set of armor, one helmet and one cloak. You can alter them like you can alter any item on your character. The bottled companion only can use those specific items.

How does the AA feature Imbune Arrow work? I'm playing an AA for the first time and I don't understand how to have the feat work in conjunction with scrolls to get the other damage types. Do you just cast a scroll on a regular arrow? The feat seems to want you to target an enemy after clicking it in the hotbar.

DMs: what is the current policy on DC item donations? My old, mostly unplayed PCs have some custom items that I'd like to pass along at some point. It is a shame not to have them in use. Can I do it without request? They're all non-scripted, just unique stats and descriptions.

Another question: is the Celestial Avenger (armored bear-man) model still used for any vanilla summon in game? It doesn't look like that, judging by the summon names, but want to make sure. I want to reskin my EMD into something like that, but it would be nice if it wasn't identical to some stock summon.

Well bummer. If it's not possible to use the Avenger head on a humanoid body (which might be an option included in the HAK?) I'll just have to go with the werebear model. Neither is a perfect match with an Ursinal, anyway.

Even at the risk of getting a "find out in game": where the hell is the Teacher job teacher? Does one even exist? I have been to every school I can think of (Blue Skies, Seven Stars, Seven Steps, Bendir, Magisterium Mortis), as well as most open libraries and places of knowledge. No luck. Kind of silly that my PC has worked as a teacher for over a year now and still hasn't been able to take the Job.

I think I recall there being one in the Triad temple in Kohlingen.

I think we used to have something like this, but I cannot find it!
Does anyone know if there is a form for filing a new faction?

Another bottled companion question.
What RP rules govern the control of bottled companions? I'm wondering how much control 'owner' PCs have on their thoughts, actions, feelings etc, now they have the capability to emote. Are they NPCs like summons or considered extensions of the PCs role play similar to how familiars are played?
