I'm trying to get NWN to play in windowed mode because to be honest, tabbing out to look up things is really annoying.

I found a few articles that had something like this...

FullScreen=0
Width=1920
Height=1080
AllowWindowedMode=1

That however was not already apart of the NWN player file and had to be added and has no effect so me not being terribly tech savy am now stuck, suggestions?

Unfortunately, according to the wiki, you're not able to have your current resolution (1920x1080) as a windowed resolution. It must be less than your current resolution. In this case, alt + enter will resize it likely to a 800x600 box, and from there, you can go to video options and change the resolution to something slightly larger.

I was looking for OpenGL 2.0 wrapper for false fullscreen myself since it's annoyed me as well but I've had no luck. Maybe someone else has?

AllowWindowedMode=1 Needs to be added to the nwn configuration settings in your folder thing... Then Alt + Enter = windowed mode huray This is the link I found

Windowed mode lets you run NWN in a window rather than full screen, though you can't shift the viewpoint by mousing off the screen.

Edit the file "nwn.ini" using a text editor such as Notepad.
Change "FullScreen=1" to "FullScreen=0".
Add the line "AllowWindowedMode=1" immediately after "Fullscreen=0"

To enter windowed mode from full screen mode, press ALT-ENTER.

You can move the perspective camera by holding the third mouse button (wheel-click) and holding it while moving the mouse. Arrow keys also work. The real pain with windowed mode is you can't jack up the Gamma...your screen will be darker than you're used to.
