Posted in multiple locations, particularly by the docks and low income housing areas. The leaflets are hand written and smell of ash.
Quote:
To the Citizens of the Commonwealth of Cordor,
To the Citizens of Cordor; the unemployed, the starving and the weak. To all those feeling downtrodden and defeated by these terrible times and lack of local leadership. The Church of Kossuth may grant you salvation yet.
The Firelord; in his infinite wisdom, would show mercy upon those citizens currently afflicted by the city's food and work shortages. It is by this decree with which the Church offers to take in any orphans which this destitute city may wish to give up into it's care. The meager budget spent providing for their care may then be used for more urgent issues, such as the investigation into local corruption.
This same offer is whole heartily extended to all those families who are overburdened to the point that they may no longer adequately provide for their offspring.
All those children given into the care of the Kossuthian Church will be provided transportation by ship to the mainland. Upon arriving all survivors of the oceanic voyage will begin a pilgrimage to the Holy Flaming Brazier in Bezantur; where, upon if surviving the journey, they will be initiated into the Church and fully placed into it's protection; under which the Firelord promises to provide warmth in both there bellies and hearts for the entirety of their lives. (Be assured also, that the education provided these young men and women will much surpass that which can currently be provided them by the Commonwealth.)
As a show of goodwill and The Lord of Flame's tremendous generosity in these trying times, the Church will provide a donation totaling a sum of 50 gold coins to each family handing a child into it's care. This offer starts immediately.
For further details you may seek out Phorus, Cleric of Kossuth. If literate and able to write you may also respond on these leaflets.
May you allow Kossuth to warm your hearts and bellies, as well as those of your deserving children.
Signed,
Phorus
