My fondest memory? I was a poor level 2 fighter, new to the server. When Mahtan launched a DM event that I got rolled up in. It was the epitome of D&D: An excursion into another, unknown plane, to hunt a creature that had been terrorizing the Cordor countryside.
I miss just about all the people from that event, although a few are still around. If I recall, it was Sazer Locast, Herial Ghalen, Sabadon Shadowflame, I (Rastan Galar), and Neveah Tarvencia. Man, it was the single greatest experience in NWN I ever had. My character made millions off of it, and Mahtan had to tell the other DM's I wasn't muling. XD
Sabadon and Nev are the only ones still around as of late. Still, I felt the need to immortalize the memory, even if it is in my own dingy little post. Cheers guys, especially to you, Mahtan, for some good times!

Fine I'll bite.
My first year when I was stupid and young and could never reach double digits when it came to leveling. There was that... Garden area you could access from Cordor outskirts or something? I made this typical evil mage with "power radiating from him" in his bio, you know the type!
So first day there I was walking out the gate and this guy walks up and wants to recruit me for his evil faction, probably because of the bio you see. So we went to the garden and in that giant hollow tree spot to scheme evil things, of course my guy had to do something evil to prove himself. Naturally burning the orphanage was the first thing I suggested. But when I bought that up, a do-gooder jumps in to reveal himself to say that the jig was up and that he overheard everything!
Of course we lied and tried to say it was all a big misunderstanding, I can't remember what was said but it was a stupid lie that nobody was going to believe. So the do-gooder kills us for our evil plots and terrible lies, and then the Cordor Guard PCs came in to find him standing over our dead bodies. We got raised, he got yelled at and kicked out of the city I think while we were free to go our merry way.
That was my first (and lamest) attempt at being an evil mastermind at level 3. *thumbs up*

My memory might not be completely accurate (seeing as how it was a long time ago) but I remember Isamura and Xavi going adventuring in the old Arachnid Valley and at one point being surrounded by spiders. What ensued was a manic battle, alternating between trying to throw out some damage (or was it summon?) spells and then healing Xavi with magic before she expired. Needless to say, we did not prevail.

I had almost no connection with nwn for the last 5 years so I already forgot many things, but the most important differences I remember from 2007 is that Cordor Square used to be constantly full of kobolds running on Haste kidnapping drows riding on faeries, people kept spawning in the temple of waukeen after death at least one per minute and that the server was constantly 75/75, so sometimes I needed more than 5 minutes to enter the game. And this amazing crafting system, so when my PC tried to get a wedding dress, it took a few days to find a person able to do it and a next day to get it done. I won't miss these things about Amia though. Genar_Detkasa wrote: My first year when I was stupid and young and could never reach double digits when it came to leveling. I'm not sure why was that, but I had a similar problem Way back then my elven mage leveled up to lvl 9 after 6 months of playing (thank gods it couldn't drop lower than that again), now my PC is lvl 10 already after 3 days.

1.) All the Drow Houses were Identical and had three levels. 2.) The Raise Dead System didn't have 2 min Cool down. (I take credit for that. I was among the lead female that ran the drow raid that killed everyone on the server. Drow won cause they spammed Raised Deads. Then two days later new raised dead policies were implemented) 3.) Winya Temple was left in ruins by and it's Defaced Correllion statue was in Tinnerai House, v2 (which i designed). 4.) Drow City had a Residential Area where all the bridges were weaved together like spider webb. (Sorta annoying map.) 5.) Amia didn't have hills back then! 6.) The lowland swamps had a big step hill with musaliem enterence. 7.) Troll Caves were always a hotspot for Drow/Surfacer Pvp. Cause it connected the underdark to a common hunting ground. (still does now but with the absence of a drow city its' become a lot safer 8.) Ultarianna's Vanguard! (That incandescently had the same colors as Tinnerai!) 9.) Trent Blake, (Drow primary drow hunter) 10.) Amia before HAKPAK!!!!! The clsoest you could get to a skirt was a armored belt, and hot pants. And there was no HOODS! 11.) Drow Pleasure house. (totally Cybersex Friendly. That didnt' last very long past 2008. It was changed to the Bathhouse. Which was very cool stack of fountains, and slave cages.) 12.) Abyss Store. You used to be abel too sneak all they way too it with just 90 hide. 13.) Sanctuary Spell (Now NERFED) 14.) Spamming HIPS was socially acceptable. (lol) 15.) When Cordor used to let Underdark Drow rome around openly. 16.) The ORIGINAL DROW CITY... Udos. 17.) Sunday Auctions, cause there was no Shop scripts. Yah thats all i care to remember right now haha.

I miss Hunar Iroff having to open a can of whoop ass every day on low level PC's that would just throw themselves at each other for the sake of it. I miss all the Salandran activity we had going, I think at one point there were probably 8-9 active Sallie PC's around and over the road from the temple probably around the same numbers of Kellies too.
One DM event I really enjoyed was the Nes'ek (SP?) story, where undead we're trying to get out of the desert and there use to be 10-15 maybe even more PC's there at the time all doing various things, protecting/defending the area/scouting groups heading out into the desert/healers tending to the wounded we had in the camp.

One of them was yours (:D), the others were surface drow. I later stalked them and took them out with darkness and no PvP warning, all the while sending enraged tells. No one ever told me it was wrong. I probably wouldn't have listened anyway.

I miss the cave in Bendir. *nodnod* And the Do'Veldran & Tinnerai prison cells in Ultrinnan (ahhh, fond memories of being captured by drow, then having warring houses duke it out over who gets to keep you for "questioning"). And the gloura (sp?) caves beneath Ultrinnan - they were soooo pretty for non-hak areas! And the Tower of Mystra, and its later incarnation of the Monolith as well, even if I rarely visited either one. Oh, and The Lodge. *cry!!* I mean it's still there, but I miss it (and the people who used to RP there regularly). Also, I miss when Silent's only character was a fey - Pixel Blimeattle. Damn annoying fey, too.

I remember when the drow were kept on the same server as everyone else.

It feels weird to have been around long enough to talk about 'old days'.

I doubt anyone on here remembers me, I gave up playing on here 5-6 years ago when all my characters for some unknown reasons were all reduced to the smallest level and I lost all my items. Also had one of the members stalking me IRL and for some reason lost my ability to login to my old account. Quite distrubing, didn't actually think this site would still be around, Im glad it still is, I had some of the best DND memories on here. Had some great times starting up a malarite cult, being swept up in Wagner's thayvian plot (who back in the day the DM's seemed to love). I was reading over some of my old DND books and it reminded me of this place so thought I'd stop by and say ello.

You may...want to discuss this with the DMs. That kind of stuff doesn't usually happen without reason.

You forgot the drow house Fuma'Vhid.
Tarkuul didn't exist.
Haur's Forge had a Dwarf only helmet in the store called "Bulls Helmet" (or something similar - Oskar had one)
Cordor Arena had three separate arenas to fight in. Two smaller and one large.
Lolthite Drow used to wonder into Cordor to browse the store.
The main threat to Cordor was "The Horde"
The Cordor Guard were the second largest faction on Amia, second only to The Shadowflames.
The Bloodbeard brothers were the primary trouble makers in Cordor.. lol
