Quote: What can I do with Dream Coins?
You can use DCs to pay for special features and services, such as custom items, visual changes and rebuilds. You can also use DCs for XP and Gold in game (at the rate of 271,82 XP per level and 500 GP per level). To do this, use your Dream Coind Wand on yourself. The comma is oddly placed. Is that 271,820 or 27,182? Or something altogether different? Thanks.

It's cause some people are silly British folk, or something.
It's 271.82 XP for us normal people :3

Thanks. Knowing is half the battle. And stuff. Learn something new every day (about British comma usage).

Actually, that was copy-pasted from Disco... so blame the Dutch. I'll fix.

Use DCs for fancy stuff. Leveling is easy enough.

Just use DCs for what you want to use them for, they are a renewable resource after all. Plus you get them from RPing... That's like getting presents for eating ice cream.

Ice creak makes you fat.
Fossil fuels are renewable if you're patient.

Dreamcoins are much harder to get than Exp. Don't burn them, you will likely regret it.

If it had been 271,000 . . . I was like yeah! I knew it couldn't be, though.

I regret it, but I also don't. It's a terrible see-saw effect. When I realize I could have 14 more DCs than before I get sad

Using a dot to mark the radix point doesn't make any sense, just like the Imperial system and Fahrenheit.

You're beard didn't make much sense either. But we tolerated it because we were used to it....
But yeah, American is backasswards. Decimal system works though, commas just aren't pretty next to numbers. Commas, they just aren't graphically appealing, to me, at least.

Using a period to denote a decimal makes more sense than using a , In modern English usage primarily because we put commas to separate thousands, waning it would get confusing if you want to write 23,001 meaning twenty three thousand and one but someone mistaking that for 23.001
However because it's an Arabic based numeral system , makes more sense because . Means 0.

Don't do it! You'll regret spending them on XP. Trust me.. I've been there more than once over the years. It starts out so easily.. something small like "Oh I'll just burn a DC to level... too bored with levelling now.." Then suddenly.. "Oh.. hm.. just three more will see me trough the day!" after an hour or two in level 20+ hunting areas for that elusive level..
A few years later.. BAM! you're out 188 DC's because you burnt them on xp like I have. Do you have any idea how much awesome stuff you can get for that amount? T_T Trust me it sucks hard when you realize what you've wasted.
Don't kick yourself in the groin! Save the dream coin! :3

I've spent just about every DC on leveling. I regret it in some cases, and in others I really don't. I regret it if I stop playing the character who I spent a bunch of stuff on.
But for me, I enjoy spending on Xp if it frees up room and time to have quality, entertaining RP. I loooathe grinding. Its the biggest deterrent to my altitis. If I could spend real money to get my characters leveled up, I would. Just so I could spend that same time that I would have spent grinding RPing and enjoying myself much, much more.
..I do like the occasional grind, and some party-hunting can be a lot of fun when Rped well! But.. spend away, but know what you're gettin' into!

I always think: "What character could benefit from these DCs the most?" before even clicking that Rod!

Selling EXP for dream coins.
Yeah don't waste it on leveling, DCs are to rare to waste on something as easy as EXP.
