It seems Thesk is a bit of a melting pot when it comes to cultures. Damarans make up a majority of the population according to the subrace tab, but after reading the history of the area it seems there are a few groups that make up the human population. Damaran, Thayvian (Mulan), and Tuigan. There are also Kara Turans and Rashemi but let's stick to the Amian subraces. Would it be lore appropriate to make a character with one of the mentioned subraces from Thesk but not be typical of the subrace? Like a Mulan cleric that doesn't follow the Mulhorandi Pantheon or a Tuigan that doesn't get bad juju from angering the earth spirits?

EDIT: Asked in game and Mask and SnarlingAngryBadger said it's okay so yay!

The racial attribute bonuses are there not because if you are born a mulan you are naturally more wise. It's because of the culture the mainstream of that society is entirely religious and encourages devout religious followers and those who are discerning when to speak and when to hold their tongue etc.

When in doubt be a plain human imho. There being so many different ethnicities unless your character coems from this exact line in this place and you want to fight the "comments" and say Im this and this nad this over and over again. Be a plain human, enough mixing occurs in countries like that.
