First off and most importantly, this is not a request of feedback from the staff. Since I rejoined the design team I took on the Kohlingen Update and the Grove Interiors, as well as a not yet released project currently in progress. Given the time such projects require I want to make sure that I can improve on anything you as players desire (in the realm of the possible) to make them as enjoyable as I can. This feedback is just for me to get a better idea of what I can do to improve what ever projects I fiddle around with next, and what is most important to you.

Past projects I dabbled with:
Kohlingen Update
Kohlingen Keep
Hin Inn Update
Grove Interiors (just the hut interiors)
Cathedral of the Martyr-Saint
Osthaven (just the town)

What I would like to know (and please send me the feedback via pm) is:
- From a scale of 1-10 how would you rate the area design, and what were the reasons for this?
- From a scale of 1-10 how would you rate the immersion, and what were the reasons for this?
- What specifically did you like?
- What specifically didnt you like?
- Is there anything you did not see that you think is important?
- Is there something you want to see more of?
- Is there something you would really prefer to do without?

And please, if you did not like something or think I can improve it, do not be afraid to put your finger on it. Thanks!

There's only one trashcan in all of Kohlingen.

You have failed me for the last time, Pony.

Were it up to me you would all have to throw your garbage at the tieflings and kobolds instead.

You may come to deeply regret your words one day, and by that time it would be far too late.

When I explore a new area, what I find gratifying as a player is to find hidden gems, a secret passage, a nice viewpoint for screenshots, sources of local lore etc. Something rewarding for those times when we don't run 'n bash, you know?

What I find rather unpleasant is blocked transitions, though. Ostland still has a few of these unfortunately, which makes one wonder if anything critical is missing.

I find the latest tree overrides (since last amia hak update I believe?) quite ressource intensive, so try to avoid forest or swamps as much as possible, in risk of crashing my 2007 rig.

Immersion is great, though I'd suggest smaller walls of text for some of these lore-giving NPCs. My preference would be to find this lore in books, sometimes.

Edit: also, given the vast feedback voiced before about the lack of RP hubs, I think any area update should strive to foster encounters by random people:
- less interior "flavor" areas (khol update had a few of these 1-map small interior rooms)
- more crossroads, open plaza
- location of leyline nodes is critical

This is just my 0.02 euro, I'm no designer myself. :P

The update to the Hinn Inn was well done. I like the atmosphere and it's appropriate to the location.

I cannot say there's much I would change.

Thanks for the feedback so far. Keep the pms comming, as it has already been very helpful to get a better idea of how I can improve future projects.
