I'd like to give props to all the DM's as of late. Recently I felt Amia was dieing, but I think it's because of the active DMs and the amazing playerbase thats changed, dramatically. I feel like it's 2008 again!

Thank you Mr. Maht for the interesting chat with your zero-to-hero... Definitely giving Emilie somethings to think of, even through her ever-persistent default 'doubt mode'. Looking forward to more!

Huge giant freaky spider-sized thanks to the DMs who handled the fall of Edonil. Dusty especially for sticking by us on this long road, and also Gorgy and Glimmy for helping out on the day. As well as anyone else I didn't see!

Was a very rewarding experience being a part of this event, especially when we thought all is lost and suddenly Dusty pulled out an ace out of his sleeve. Good job fungineers.

Super Props to DM Izzy (Isildur_). While on a boss run destroying undead around Mourn Manor in the Frozen Wastes, an inordinate amount of undead showed up. As a paladin of Kelemvor, Excelsius was more than up for the challenge of trying to destroy them to the last.
But how odd it was a bit later for snow beast to act in a manner she'd never seen before. Even following her down a path but returning to it's lair.
She should have known something was amiss when heading to the Darkness that hordes of Sahuagin, some wielding wicked looking two-bladed swords, began to arrive. She was in two or three fights of her life.
I, Baden, wanted to say THANKS for throwing those twists and extra spawns at her. It was a test Excel and I'll remember for a long while. In my many years here I have found it ultra rare for a DM to "spice up" a hunt for the players, much less a solo artist like me. I can't say thank you enough.
Hopefully this will encourage others to "spice up" or add twists to the hunts of the player base. If it puts a smile on their face as big as mine, it was well worth it.
DM Izzy rocks!

To Manarethan, who's patience and know-how is very much appreciated! Thank you for helping me work out that damn summon. It's perfect now, and hopefully you'll never again hear from me about it, other than the occasional 'Look how awesome it is!'.

To the Hugglebug, because Durung cast mage armor on a kitten, but some badass seagull hitman managed to get to him anyway. Good thing Corrin knows how to 'spode the gulls though.
Also, I'd like to take a moment to say..
To the whole of the staff: I'm impressed with the changes. When I first started playing it was honestly hard to catch any of the DMs online. Now there's a whole gaggle of you. Sometimes I see three at once. While I know there was also plenty of off screen stuff you guys were doing before a few more joined the team, it's just super encouraging to see you guys online more often. It really is.

This is a little late but Major Kudos to the DM team lately.
Having just recently returned from a rather long AFK I find the server at LEAST twice as active as when I left.
The Diplomacy game campaign... things are moving... things are cool to interact with... things are funny. I am not sure who was DMing when the Fight Night Incident occurred but bravo. My favorite part was when the old dude was describing the mage's dragon... I can't remember the exact quote but it was something like "Eyes as black as a Harper's soul and claws as long as a noble's reach" I literally almost laughed myself out of my chair.
Also to DM BoB (aka HuggleBug). Your shenanigans turn everyday RP into hilarious and/or awesome RP. keep being awesome!
Also Side note. Amia has again ripped me away from playing other online games. Great work everyone.

Because I have the tendency to pick at the flaws in everything I see (it might be a bi-product of editing), I want to take the time to say that I noticed some things when I came back.
I noticed that the DMs are much happier and more positive I noticed that the DMs are watching the rp and being active handing out DCs I noticed that there are more quests that involve a broader base of players rather than the same few
Because of this, I've brought several friends here who have enjoyed their DM interactions. This says a lot.
Even if I will still pick people apart for things I deem as flaws - because deep down I'm an asshole at heart - I do notice the positive as well.

I'd like to thank Dust for providing a certain alternative way for things to have played out when me and Tomato were out in the world, with our characters. Ael may be down in gold with that donation he made, but it was a nice change in course plus encouraged a different sway of RP immediately after!

Lately I have been calling DMs on Tells and PMs, for many subjects. I just wanted to thank all of them, I will not mention names because I would be unfair to those who dropped by on B just to see we were RPing and drop a DC, and I dont know who they are, and also because, well, without developers and DMs I wouldnt have Amia to complain about =)

While all of the Staff deserves our continued thanks on an ongoing basis for all they do, lately there has been a couple that have been very helpful to things we've been trying to do or just plain pulled me into things I had forgotten I loved so much; this would be the Underdark and Drow Society. Not all of them are DMs, but even so they deserve a mention; DustSpray101 Glim msheeler All three of you for your combination of DMing and developing and scripting that has made the Underdark come alive again. Xaviera and Jes While the last two are not DMs they have also made significant contributions to the new Underdark areas. All of these people who revitalized and without whom there would not be New Underdark Areas for we players to attempt yet again to populate, let's hope fourth time's the charm!!

Whoa, whoa... Which DM is doing this? Which server?
Anyhow a big thank you to Glim for taking over a thrice-convoluted mess and turning it into something beautiful. A ton of work and forum posting and dealing with my bullshit. Huzzah for Glim.

To Rigela for all of your help with a certain story and a scene just wonderfully portrayed. I'm late saying so in public forum, but thank you. You have a real talent, made that little chapter of the ongoing story quite enjoyable ... and yes, heart-in-the-throat suspenseful in the crucial moments ... and have contributed to far more resulting rp still. Most appreciated
