Okay, so I've never EVER had to mess with the .ini file on my NWN game, so I'm completely lost.
I bought NWN on GoG because apparently the vanilla doesn't like Win7, the other way 'round, whatever. So I found out the hard way that I need a unique multiplayer key and I need to put it in my .ini file (thanks to Glim for pointing that out to me).
Problem is (and I didn't think to ask because I thought I could just spot it while going through the file), I don't know where to put it. Halp? Please and thank you.

The *.ini file is called nwncdkey.ini  It's in the root folder of the game so wherever your installed it look for it and open it with a notepad or something. _________________ Life should be prolonged only when it serves the greater cause of the death of the world.

I know where it is, but I don't know what to put. All it has are the CD keys for the game, but nowhere for the multiplayer. And I'm afraid of typing anything IN that file for fear of messing something up.

Would I just do "Multiplayer=" and then type in the key?
(again, I've never messed with any of my *.ini files, and I feel so silly for having to ask this, but I'm so eager to get back into Amia you have no idea. So any help is awesome)

Your multiplayer key is your single player key. It's the same thing.
Key1 = Neverwinter Nights CD key
Key2 = SoU key
Key3 = HotU key
Just replace each of them for the appropriate key you've received from GoG. If you're worried about making a mistake, keep a backup of the original nwncdkey.ini so it doesn't matter if something goes wrong.

I have all three of those. My problem doesn't lie with that, but with the fact I have to put a multiplayer key in an *.ini file, and I don't know where to start. And from what I understand, the multiplayer key goes somewhere else (I guess?)

Like, I have all three keys, and I even got all my toons re-authorized because of the CD key change. But when I click on the mirror portal in the Amia entry, it says I need a multiplayer key. Which I have. But I was told by Glim that I need to put it in an *.ini file. And I don't know where in that file I need to place it.

There is no exclusive 'multiplayer key'. You have the three CD keys that I already listed - that's all you need. Have GoG sent you your replacement CD keys? Have you contacted them? If you're still getting booted, then you're still using GoG's default keys. To be technical, your 'multiplayer key' (it can also be called your 'public CD key') is a combination of all three CD keys placed together using a simple pattern. But you don't need to concern yourself with that, you just need GoG to give you a unique version of those three CD keys I mentioned. Hm...that definitely makes more sense, because the key they sent me for the multiplayer thing was significantly shorter than the actual CD key length, which probably was my public CD key. But if I got another set, wouldn't I have to be re-authorized again? I hate having to ask the DM team to do the same thing for me twice. (Thank you for the welcome! Authorizations are a two click process from a DM, so I wouldn't worry of the hassle!
