Hey there, ive been mulling over the idea of having a shifter specced in Undead form but im unsure what weapons each one uses as amia has changed some of the default stats and weapons used for some of the shifter forms and im pretty sure the post ive found on the forums that describes most of that is atleast 2-3 years of out date so i was looking for the most recent info on said topic if someone can either help out with an answer or simply direct me to some link id be very grateful thankyou.

Oh and about the items merging into your form when you shift...as the default shifter tests ive run dont seem to enchance your stats at all dispite being merged with gear that do apply to said form i was wondering if amia has it so they actually DO apply or if your stats only change to suit the form and don't count your merged gear stats ontop of that.

I know excate stats aren't welcomed in forum posts often but simply which weapon types eg, unarmed and such for each of the three forms is all i was looking for in that first bit, but if not anything would be nice, thanks for your time.

Pretty sure this is up to date.

The Shifter post and spreadsheet are fresh and updated, so linked above. Everything about the forms is listed in the spreadsheet.

All items except ammo slots merge into your new form here on Amia (with one or two exceptions). The NWN Wikia link to item merging is also accurate in regards to AC bonuses and stat bonuses, but also note that as you gain Shifter levels, you will gain a Deflection bonus naturally, meaning at some point (level 14 for +4 and level 18 for +5) any AC you get from items will not count.

One final note is that there's currently a bug where none of your items will merge if you do not have a weapon equipped, so try not to forget to equip one before shifting because it will hurt you more than just losing the weapon's properties!

You would do well to ask this question in the Official Teach A Man To Build topic/thread place. More skill and knowledge there.

Note that due to the quirks of the system, many things won't merge unless you're wielding a weapon.

Yes, you can trust the Shifter post in Modified Classes, since I've gone to great lengths/pains/torture/etc to ensure it's completely up to date.

The weapon requirement for merging is an oddity which I believe I've tracked down the cause for, but since I didn't originally create the code, I'm a bit wary of modifying it without doing some testing to make sure it doesn't cause issues elsewhere.

Oh, cool. It would be awesome if it could be fixed without other issues.
Since 95% of the time, Traq is shifted sans weapon. :?
