The following notice is posted along with this in Tarkuul, Cordor, Zhanshibon, Kampo's Storehouse, Underport, and L'Obsul. The notices in L'Obsul and Underport also include translations written in Undercommon for the sake of residents who do not read common.

The Tarkuul Trading Company is opening its doors to the masses, seeking out skilled craftsmen of all disciplines to come and accept long term contracts with the Living City. Know that your work will be rewarded handsomely and you will remain completely anonymous. But most importantly, your work will go a long toward assisting to develop the infrastructure and economy of the Living City.

Smiths! Wood workers! Masons! Fishermen! Trappers, and merchants of such supplies! All trades will be given a place within the company! And all contracted work will be rewarded! Please, be sure to come to Tarkuul and ply your trade for prosperity and profit! We value your contribution most of all!

The Tarkuul Trading Company will also be dealing in the trade of other wares, magical trinkets, weapons, armors, potions, wands, and scrolls, and will be seeking regular suppliers of such goods. The company is even willing to offer visitors a place to publish their wares and sell freely at our merchant stalls in the Trade Hall completely free of charge! We even facilitate anonymous sales, only taking a ten percent charge of sales for selling your wares for you. We will publish your wares anonymously, as our own and pay you ninety percent of profits.

All parties interested in having their wares sold should leave their inquires at the Trade Hall in Tarkuul. If you wish to sell publicly, on your own, simply leave your name and list of your inventory and you will be assigned your own mail box for inquiries in the hall, where you can be contacted privately. Parties who are interested in anonymously selling their wares through the Tarkuul Trading Company at ninety percent profit should leave their list of inventory and dates and times that they are available to drop off inventory and receive profit. The ten percent deducted from your sales will go toward funding other projects within the Living City such as skilled labor within the city.

But I think I need to reiterate that selling your magic weapons will only be the secondary objective within the Company! We want skilled laborers first and foremost! Come to Tarkuul and build a future for yourself and others!

In Service to the Living City,
The Quartermaster

The notice in L'Obsul is removed by a woman clad in blue.

"How dare thee travel into another merchants territory, especially after what happened. Perhaps a few consequences should come from this action."

A bit later, the female would add to her inner debate, speaking the statement outoud, as she moves around the L'Obsul trading market to ready the Onyx's wares around the merchant tables.

"In fact,I wonder how know he even traveled here without a scratch, being a well-known Tarkuulian. Perhaps a little word with the Ul'ath'tallar will handle this."

The notice is simply replaced, by an individual oblivious to the nature of its removal. However, an inquiry is made to the leaders of L'Obsul.

A copy is sent to Ul'ath'tallar Nizzre'tyne, with a dire warning.

Venturing out from another lengthy session crafting in the mines of L'obsul the drow Mal'dra would raise a brow at the woman's spoken words, pitching in, with some amusement

"The Ul'ath'tallar, you're on good terms with the woman then? That -is- interesting. You should know though that the leaders of Edonil have absolutely no authority here. In L'obsul trade rules and those that try to hamper it are punished harshly. Merchants of Tarkuul are welcome here, and I expect both settlements benefit from the agreement."

The woman would nod for a moment, considering Mal'dra's words, before tossing her head side to side as if she's physically weighing the options with her head.

"I suppose you're right. It's awfully wrong of me to consider such drastic decisions on a rush of adrenaline, but only just to muster a bit of friendly competition would not be so bad. It is, after all, my shoes he's trying to fill."

She'd offer a small smile as she turns the trading sign to open, sitting herself down in a chair beside her wares.

"I do hope they benefit well, truly."

Irae smiles sweetly from a corner.

"Or, instead of acting like anyone /but/ Zau'tar has control here, you can wait until /I/ have spoken to them."

Mal'dra would roll her eyes,

"Dear, leave matters of trade to the Matron's Council, a council I am currently a part of as the Trade Mistress of our glorious city. If you have ideas, by all means, have them brought up at the next meeting."

She simply smiles warmly.

"We aren't /in/ our city, darling jalil. I've already spoken to your il'haress, and received no naysay."

Any further comments are just met with the same calm, self-assured, slightly condescending smile.

Mal'dra would simply shake her head.

"I know, talk to them and represent yourself by all means. But last time I checked you were a member of the sorcere, and lacked the authority to represent the city in diplomatic affairs. If you'd like to talk more, seek me out in Edonil. Aluve."

And off she would wander.
