Those in Cordor today were greeted by an unusual sight. The not-exactly-famed Fritznobble's Floating Fireworks Factory, a ship crewed by gnomish alchemists, caught flame near the city's western docks. While there seems to have been little damage to buildings on the shore, the ship itself is a total loss, it's remaining bulk now serving as a navigational hazard a few dozen meters off the shore.

The gnomish crew was last seen boarding a different ship in South Cordor, most of them talking about going to Thordstein.

Corporal Loynis Griffonheart, who had only just started his shift for the morning quickly rushes over to the docks. Immediately assuming command of the rescue operation. His summoned Air Elemental making little left to salvage out of the burning ship as it shattered it's hull (after all on board were saved of course), eventually sinking the ship leaving the city once again safe. And the once ever-so-perfect red mane of hair that was the Corporals, left with a singe that will remind him of the folly of gnomes. Though he does express his concern about the Curs'd pirates possibly finding these fireworks, but he simply shrugs the thought of as amusing and holds no further concern.

After saving the crew more or less on his own, and watching the bungling of the Cordorian Guards and Adventurers whose attempts to "help" nearly got him killed and certainly made the situation worse than it already was, a young man in dark leathers heads north and then west, deep into the swamps of the island, as he reflects that next time he should just let them all die.

A man in almost knightly looking armor, save a coat of arms on his tabard, would appear to be the only person there who carried a bucket on him at all times. And he is seen using said in an attempt to quench said flamed when another bucket came flying out of the wreck and onto the dock...

Amusingly enough, the bucket coming from the ship was filled with fire, and seemed a good counterweight to his bucket full of water. But of course he knew something awful would happen when he saw that Gnomes had a ship. After all, in his own words "All they do is explode."

Oh, and he called the only guard around at the time an idiot for not arresting them, but that was something done behind his back.He's Cordorian, he thought to himself. That's like being dead, except dumber.
