Hi, I recently got NeverWinter Nights on suggestion from a friend, DolphinRacer as some of you may know him, and am trying to get it to work. I have patched it up to the current patch, have the hak files for Amia, I even know to run the game as the administrator and in compatibility mode to windows 98/me or 2000/xp. However, when I try to join the server and make a new character, I get all the way through the character generator up to the point when I finish customizing my character's avatar, when I hit finish, the game locks up and eventually closes and windows tells me that it had to close the program because an error occured. DolphinRacer could not come up with anything to help me and suggested I come here. Can anyone help me?

And this does not happen on single-player? What of other servers? Not that I have any ideas, just trying to narrow it down I guess.

No this occurs everytime I create a character, single player, or for any server as well. I had meant to mention that previously.

Pull the haks and tlks out so they don't get deleted then uninstall and re-install the game. Might be something wrong when you installed it.
