To Whom it May Concern within the Salandran Temple,
My name is Aylomen, and I am a priest speaking on behalf of the Church of Lathander in Cordor. We recognize that the plague sweeping across the island will have devastating effects, both to the various civilian populations and the livestock. The Church of Cordor thus offers its direct assistance to the Temple of Salandra and its healers. We have gathered supplies and our own priests and healers are qualified and capable individuals.
I am sure that many are chasing after the source of the disease and those responsible-- but the Church of Lathander's interests are in aiding the weak and sick instead.
I was among the few some months ago that fought the hordes of undead and removed the undead Dragon from your temple. When I arrived to your temple, I was pleasantly surprised to see that repairs have been made. I would guess that from the incident, your staff is perhaps lighter than desired. Those faithful to Lathander would happily assist where needed.
To clarify, we are but guests and outsiders seeking to offer aid. Our actions, if allowed, will be performed in a respectful manner with adherence to the rules and guidance of your Temple and its healers. We simply wish to do our part.
We have begun formulating plans for not only the tending to the ill, but even the restoration of livestock and the prevention of famine. I would happily speak to you in person on these matters. Some services that the Lathanderites may be able to offer beyond divine healing would be Cart transport of the sick to the temple, a secondary establishment for tending to the sick so as to not over-crowd maternity wings and burn victims, the procurement of food and supplies, or even visiting local villages and towns to administer immediate aid and relief.
I beg you to consider these words and the assistance of the servants of the Morninglord. In this time, the people need Hope- and it is through unity that they will find it.
May the Light ever prevail, Aylomen, Priest of Lathander

//A letter is received in the name of Dawnmaster Llinyarrii at the Lathanderine Temple in Cordor.
Dawnmaster Llinyarrii and Dawnkeeper Aylomen,
I have been working at the Recovery Wing of the Salandran Temple to help those who have caught this terrible disease. Any kind of aid would be greatly appreciated as supplies run low as the needs grow greater.
We are in great need of clean towels and bandages, medicinal herbs, water and disinfectants. Any monetary donations for supplies would also be greatly appreciated.
As far as manual help, I am not in a position of authority to accept your offer, but if you come to the Temple to volunteer, your skilled help will most likely not be turned away.
Sincerely,
Senior Squire Jerand Whiterose Paladin of Ilmater Physician of Salandra

A reply is sent back to the Chapel, written rather hastily.
Dear Aylomen, Priest of Lathander,
Your heal is appreciated. Because we are far too busy and too few to leave the temple and help others at this time, we would recommend that your people focus on traveling around the affected areas to provide aid. The affected areas likely need aid in healing. As well, transport to our temple would be very useful. That is where the greatest need lies in truth.
Salandras help us in these hard times,
The Temple of Salandra

*Another letter, this one much shorter, is sent to the Temple*
Temple of Salandra,
Thank you very much for your timely response.
The Church of Lathander will offer its assistance those in need. Conversations have begun with Kohlingen Knights in regards to transport services, and a cooperative stance will be taken alongside the Shrine of Eilistraee.
In these darker hours, we must remember that we are never truly alone.
~ Aylomen

*A man in black and white tabbard can be seen often in the Recovery Wing of the Salandran Temple. The person is well known by Jerand, as Mikal Blacksword. He offers his aid as well, especially to deal with those who have deceased from the desease.*

*A letter was sent to Jerand*
Dear good friend Master Whiterose
I would like to know the reccords, if possible, about the numbers of those deceased, inlcuding elfs afflicted by the plague.
I thank you for your cooperation.
May He bless your journey
