Destruction Averted!

Many were the friends and allies who came to our aid against the hell spawn and spider worshipers who assaulted our home. Some I knew by name others were strangers to me yet still they stood by our side in our hour of need. There were far to many brave souls who came to us, many who paid with blood and for that we can not offer enough thanks.

I will not try to name you all because I know I can not and I do not wish the nameless to feel any less thanked for their bravery and sacrifice then people whom I know personally. In the end evil was driven away and though death holds few lessons on this island defeat will linger in their hearts and minds, they know that the forces of good stand stronger then they ever will.

That united we are unbreakable!

In addition to the main notice there seems to be a few copies one can easily remove should they wish to take a copy.

Seeming not to care about people whining over the pointless act of burning or burying corpses on an island with enough powerful spell casters to make death a minor inconvenience for good and bad alike fresh copies routinely replace them.

A new poster goes up one replaced each and every time it is defaced or removed. A copy is also sent mailed to the Winya, The Dale and Kholigan to whom ever is in charge.

The Buffoon Baron of Benwick Hallow

Recently there have been claims made by blood thirsty, dark hearted, violence prone brigands have made a claim that all of Benwick Hallow is their barony, Benwick Hallow being our Shrine and the area around the local storehouse run by Kampo. Unless you have a decent sized force this band of ruffians is difficult to route and thus our region as well as Minmar Birdge should be avoided by citizens not wishing to be mistreated and attacked by this False Baron. His forces have been broken multiple times only to return to their claim, battle against them is becoming moot and repetitive, in fact we suspect they thrive on it. Don't give them what they want, ignore them, fight them only if you must they aren't worth wasting your time on. They can claim what ever they want it doesn't make it true and feeding their need for violence is proving futile in teaching them to move on.

Plague Warning!

Dear residents and travelers there is an illness being spread by dead birds and all are advised to avoid contact with dead avian creatures. Any found should be burned and any handling of them must be done with up most care.

Plague Warning II

The recent plague has started to infect other animals, any dead animal found should be considered dangerous and a possible plague carrier. This plague is spread on contact by way of the creatures mucus and any contract with this substance is to be avoided. Given the number of dieing animals it recommended to boil any water that is not from a ground source and foraged food should be avoided in favor of stored or dry food due to risk of infected mucus samples being found on plants or in water. If one must forage or hunt careful handling is required as is extensive cooking of any food.
