In the Crystal Lake, Western parts of the Sky Forest and bordering areas, dead ravens randomly litter the woodland floors. Some are even seen floating in the currents of the local waters. The ravens have an oily-like look to them and are generally thin.
The local scavengers and opportunistic predators can be seen making meals of these dead creatures.

It was never a good sign when the death-guides were the ones dying. What would be killing carrion eaters? The Sy-Tel'Quessir was keen to find out. Hunting down a corpse was not the difficult part; determining the reason it had died was another matter. With a fistful of medicinal plants in one hand and a shroud of branches with which to carry the carcass in the other, Caelisarqueya cleared a spot beside the pyre in the valley east of the clouded cliff. Her array was a primitive and bare-bones investigation kit that consisted only of sacred plants for cleansing the body and inviting medicine spirits, and a couple of sharp twigs to lay open the raven carcass she had recovered. Over the course of an hour, the slime-coated raven was carefully eviscerated, gutted and thorough examined. Ultimately, it and all of the tools that had been used to spread and cut it were cast into the pyre until they burn down to ash. The ash itself was later collected, secreted into a small pouch and tied about her neck by a vine thong. What she had seen revealed to her no clear answers, but what was obscured to her could very well be intelligible to older, wiser People. She would hunt down her elders before she rested; now, however, Caelisarqueya had ritual to perform, and it began with her pained howls lifting through the air with the scent of burning skin. Challenging snarls shouted through the forest, and amidst the feral screams, those bound in convent with Nature through Druidic oath may have overheard. "Spirits of fire purge the sickness in this one. Purify the spirits of the wolf-bird. Smoke, warn away the sickness and call to us the strong spirits that will fight, and cleanse this forest."
It was not idle anger that propelled her voice up with the smoke, however, but an oath spoken for all the spirits of the Sky Forest to hear. It was with conviction and duty that her howling and shouting was done, to strike fear into the spirit of this sickness and drive it out, to encourage the healthy spirits of the plants and animals to chase away the harm that had come upon the carrion birds and warn whatever could hear and understand her of its presence. No where would it be able to hide. The stream heard her and took it into the earth, the smoke carried it to the sky. Throughout the rest of the day, Caelisarqueya ran the forest and surrounding protectorate, gathering raven carcasses and chasing off opportunistic scavengers that sought an easy meal. She purged herself with sweat and ritual, fasting from all but water from the falls, and purged the corpses she found and collected in the embers of the pyre to keep them from the gullets of the other animals. All the while, she kept an eye for sticky-feathered ravens that had not yet expired, eager to catch them, hoping to exorcize the foulness before it claimed them in death.

Heading North of Uhm, Kreol and Dev encountered dead ravens. They seemed malnurished as well as covered in a substance unknown to them. Upon finding this near that northern road, they followed the almost trail of carcasses to the crystal lake. Upon surprised and confused eyes the ground and waters were littered with more fallen ravens. After making a slow trek around the lake and perimeter they counted over twenty in all. After much thought and debate they decided the most logical reason would be perhaps a disease or curse bestowed the creatures as all other life amongst the lake and surrounding areas seemed to be the norm. Their conversation continued as if they should or not carry a specimen to winya or those more equipped to diagnose the problem. After fear of contracting a such disease ,or tampering with sacred elven grounds they left the beautiful lake to its own natural state.

After some time it becomes obvious why the female wolf is in "dominating" positision, the wolf shapechanges into a elven woman and starts carefully inspectings the corpses more closely. Main attention focused on what caused this to happen. After a while, changing back to a form of a wolf, she heads on to search elsewhere in the forest.

Malandria and Elana spend their time in Skyforest currently. However, busy treating two sick elves all night. What happens the next day might highly depend on how her treatment for them went.

The those hunting blighted ravens would find mixed results. Those who understand the differences in ravens and crows would find few ravens on the day the ravens fell in large numbers. Crows would be outnumbering them that day. To those less knowledgeable, they would find many black birds of raven-like appearance. In both cases, the birds generally appear healthy, but a few sickly birds are indeed found. The sick birds are sluggish and covered in a shinning coat, the same oily-like appearance.
Today, only one day later, more sickly ravens begin to appear and fall dead. Their range has quickly spread as well. Dead ravens are now falling throughout most of the Nexus Hills region.

A wild-elf in the colors of a Warden of Wiltun would be seen passing through the crystal lake to pay respects to a certain shrine. She would stop when she noticed the dead birds and get a good look at them being careful not to touch them. She would mutter under her breath in sylvan "not my problem anymore"

When the treatment given to the two sick elves finally seemed to show some results, Malandria continues with it. As the fever goes down however and they rest, she takes the time to go outside and have a look around skyforest herself. If she finds any of those ravens, she takes the usual precaution of wearing her belt plus wrapping a piece of cloth around the lower part of her head, covering her nose and mouth.
Any diseased seeming birds are burned after beeing examined. One feather is stored away to analyze the oily liquid on them at a later time once she has access to an alchemist table and the ingredients she needs for the research.
She makes sure not to venture out too long. In less than an hour usually she would return to see after the elves and bring them some food and water.

Forestsong sat naked infront of the shrine to Fenmarel at the crystal lake, leaving an offering of bones and and a ceremonial bow and arrow, she had an encounter she didn't expect. The two spoke for some time, and in the end Forestsong would have to eat her words. She agreed to help, though she had her doubts. The guest leaving she went about collecting what dead ravens she could find and gathered them carefully not to touch them with her bareskin. She would burn them in an open pit with magical fire careful not to let it spread... her giant eagle flew off before she did so for its own protection, her face covered by a cowl and an antidote in hand. She watched as the fire burned and muttered in sylvan now and then, "a deal is a deal."

It was just a routine walk, one of many times the raven-haired tiefling had patrolled the lands immediately surrounding the village of Uhm. Then she noticed the corpse of a raven just to the north of the settlement. Not really thinking anything out of the ordinary about it, she continued her walk to the east - and found more avian corpses, all of them ravens, and all seeming to have been sick. What was even more concerning was that she saw more raven bodies around the stream that fed into the small village - with one lying directly in the stream itself.
She fished the bird's corpse from the stream using her kamas, then used the weapons again to gather the other sickly-looking corpses all into a pile, then formed a small bonfire beside them, tossing the things into the fire when it was large enough. She then continued on a route, circling around the village in search of more dead birds. She found no more of them, but then happened upon a familiar face - Forestsong, one of the Wardens she worked closely with in Wiltun.
The two spoke at length about the problem, with Cynthia voicing her concerns over Uhm's water being contaminated. After a bit more conversation between the two of them, they set off to the village to speak to the acting mayor. Once in Uhm, the elf goes off to talk to those she comes upon, gathering information about whether there have been dead birds cited within the village, and generally asking if anyone has noticed any sickness therein.
Cynthia seeks out the acting mayor, Thames Rodderick, and tells him of her concerns, along with information about how to handle the bird corpses if any are found. She also asks him to warn the villagers not to drink or use the water from the stream, at least until it can be determined whether or not it truly is contaminated. As a final note, she tells him that if any villagers appear to be falling ill, to send word to the druids of the Grove, as per Forestsong's advice, and warns that there have already been elves known to have fallen ill, directly related to the problem with the birds.

A few citizens of Uhm report seeing sick ravens flying near and in the city. Others report seeing dead ravens floating down the stream that runs through the town.
Mayor Rodderick seemed to be aware of the situation already, but hears her out with interest. The local town guard are seen with burlap bags to toss birds in when they find them.
A similar event happens in Winya, where ravens have been falling dead now for the past day. Few, but still. The guard there has been quick to act, quickly disposing of the birds with the use of gloves, bags and pyre outside the city proper. The guard warn citizens not to touch the birds should they come across them.

Within the Sky Forest, a particular Wild Elf could be seen in a perpetuation of the last couple of days; her sweat-drenched body lunging and writhing about a pyre in which the bodies of dead corvids have been laid. She dances and calls for hours, taking time only to drink from the nearby spring and deliberately forgoing food - though she can be observed chewing mashed up balls of feverfew that she eventually spits out into the flames with exulting whoops to the spirits.

Two exhausted druids return to the forest from their stroll with a larger group around Nexus Hill. They head back to the small campside to check on Caesyli, the two ravens and the two elves who were treated there.
She would stop briefly to have a look at the sick wildelf. Upon noticing the drinking of water and the feverfew plants, she does however not disturb her ritual. After cleaning herself and resting, she would return a bit later though to check on her.

For a time, the vociferous rite had ceased and the forest was marginally more quiet. As the sun turned, it became evident for those who may have sought for her, that the young Sy-Tel'Quessir was not to be found within the Sky Forest or Crystal Lake protectorate. It was many hours later before Caelisarqueya could be spotted or heard racing about the territory again; her hands were full with a round basket woven from sapling branches, her fleet stride weaving a direct path through the woods to the dwellings where the sick were being tended. Her arrival call pierced into the small wombs of earth that served as dwellings, and the basket - filled with a harvest of greenbrier roots - was left in the central gathering area.

Having heard of the happenings and blending to the point of being one with the fauna a curious unseen individual watches quietly keeping a safe distance from the fallen ravens, crows and this wild elf among it all. He notes the residue from the same safe distance and the wild elves actions. He studies her with his lips slightly pursed under his mask and eyeing her quizically from under his hood. Eventually he departs with not even the rustle of leaves giving his presence away. On his way back through Uhm, now unmasked and his hood draped on his back, he stops and asks the guards about the strangeness occuring in the sky forest. He nods as he takes in what the guards tell him, thanks them for there warning and The guards being clueless about whats happening in sky forest he nods then leaves hopping on the cart to Wharftown.

From Kohlingen keep, a dispatch is sent to the Cordorian Commonwealth Center. In a sturdy, blue-waxen sealed envelope addressed to the Minister of Public Health, the following letters and reports are found: Minister Xaviera,
A curious disease has begun to spread around the mid-northern regions of Amia. The following are reports I have submitted to various officials of Kohlingen. I hope these reports may be of some help, should the contagion spread south to Cordor. It is currently considered a substantial threat to public welfare.
Mystra's blessings, `Ulrik ValisNivo wrote: ~~~ 2nd of Tarsakh It is necessary to make note of a potential health hazard to the city of Kohlingen. The archdruidess Malandria has informed me of a curious disease that has been encountered in the areas south of here, in the regions around Uhm, the Nexus Hills, and the Sky Forest. The carriers of this disease appear to be both birds and rats, the infected described at being 'oily' and 'covered in mucus.' These creatures appear to be obviously ill, and, a significant number of birds and rats have since died from this disease. Troubling is that physical contact with the mucus has spread the disease, in three out of three instances thus far reported. Symptoms in humanoids thus far include swollen throats, loss of appetite, high fever, and exhaustion - the same signs displayed in the avian populations. So far the individuals, reportedly elves, have been under care of the druids. It is unknown if the disease is fatal in humanoids.
Of curious note, is Malandria's report that the disease may have been intentionally introduced into the avian population. This is under investigation.
While the city is not directly threatened, at this time, it is prudent that the guard and clergy both be aware of the signs of infected birds and rats, should the contagion spread north. Special attention is warranted to the docks area, with the significant gull presence. It bears reiteration that physical contact with infected specimens has resulted in a one-hundred percent infection rate, thus far. So I recommend the utmost caution be taken, should any infected specimens be sighted.
It is reported that the spell Remove Disease has no effect. However, the druids report that Restoration magic and herbal cures have had some effect on the avian specimens.
`Ulrik Valis
~~~ Nivo wrote: ~~~ 3rd of Tarsakh The contagion has been confirmed to be intentionally introduced by persons unknown. Though my divinations have revealed little beyond the shadowy figures of humanoids, there is little doubt this is not a naturally occurring disease. I must also report that the contagion seems to have begun killing those infected at a quicker rate, which indicates a greater risk to the populace.
It is highly recommended that guards burn the corpses of any infected creatures. It is further recommended that clergy be mindful of the symptoms, which are detailed previously.
"Xe, find me the source."The sleek hawk is sent flying from the Malarite's forearm, tracking the path of dead birds. After a long while later, the hawk returns and guides the figure into the Sky Forest, where the Jackal then searches the corpses of the crows, ravens, and seagulls. He discovers varied results, and to his great frustration, the immediate cause fled his senses. He carefully bottled the mucus substance for further investigation.
He spends the next several hours searching for ingested sources of the disease, filmy substances in the clouds, and even puddles collected from rainfall-- Each to no avail.
It was when he discovered the diseased deer that he began to worry. The disease was spreading to larger species. And quickly.
~~~~
He traveled to the Amian Forests in search of a single Archdruidess. In truth, he had dreaded speaking to the woman, and was thankful that she could not be found. He retired then to the Forest of Despair, ready to relay his findings to his fellow Hunters. At first, as the pups were enraged with hunger and the lust for blood- but they would quickly find their target superior. In a clash of bone and flesh, Haan felled a handful of Lycans and humbled the remaining humans. "Keep the sickened creatures outside of this forest. Fail to do so, and you will die a coward's death- sick and without the Pack. I will seek those of the Middle Wood."

Disaster!
Birds of different types began to fall from the skies all across the North Western regions of Amia and even stretching into North Eastern areas: Nexus region, North Western Coast, parts of Benwick Hallow, and North Western Amia Forest. Winya, Uhm, most of Kohlingen and the Shrine of Eilistraee experience bird deaths on their lands.
The birds dying are no longer just ravens, but birds of all types. The most common birds being seagulls, pigeons, ravens and crows. A few perhaps more shocking sights are those of beautiful birds of prey that have also fallen victim to this mysterious illness. Further, there are also rats that begin to drop dead all across these same lands. As well, deer fall dead in the forested areas.
Guards from Winya, Uhm and Kohlingen begin to dispose of these dead creatures to the best of their abilities. They also warn people not to touch these creatures. Citizens of Winya and Uhm in particular have fear and panic in their eyes. Uhm is nearly a ghost town, as people stay in doors.
Curiously, there are distinctions between the dead. Some fallen creatures appear sick, thin and with thick clear liquid on them. Others appear as otherwise healthy creatures to the blind eye, with the occasional clear water liquid around their noses/mouths.
The range of the fallen creatures looks to be spreading South now, toward Wharftown and Bendir Dale. The area most affected however is clearly Crystal Lake and Sky Forest, followed by the rest of the Nexus area.

For her part, Kaithan keeps herself mostly within the role of a healer. She gathers an abundant supply of Feverfew, keeps her medical and herbalism gear well-maintained, and makes certain to have Restorations among her blessings. Thus prepared, she takes to the Sky Forest each morning to offer to the People whatever aid and comfort she can. She gives no interference to those humans and others who come to the wood in peace, preferring instead to observe, though she remains polite if she's cordially approached.

Several druids and a rather well known wizard are seen along the coast, examining the dead animals before burning as many as they can. They more seem to do this just along the way though and mainly rather seem to search for something, or someone?

Panic!
Several Elves in Winya have fallen dead! Winya is sent into a panic as Elves hide away in their homes, hoping to avoid becoming ill, while others pick up what little they can and leave the city all together.
Pure terror is in the hearts of Winyans today. The Winyan guard run around the city, trying harder than ever to remove dead creatures and bring dead Elves to the attention of priests for proper containment and funeral rites. A total of 24 Elves have fallen dead so far, some Sun Elves, some Moon Elves and a few Wood Elves. Covering ones mouth and nose with a scarf has become fashionable over night in Winya, even for those that stay locked away.
A Winyan guard is sent to alert the councilors of the devastation. Many Winyans cry out in anger for the lack of action by the Council in regards to the situation.
---------
Elsewhere, the falling dead spread further inland and South, now covering the whole of Amia Forest, reaching Wharftowns doorstep and beginning to affect Bendir Dale over night.
In the Shrine of Eilistraee, some of their chickens begin to show signs of illness. They refuse to feed and throw up what food they do eat.
In Kohlingen West, just outside the second layer of walls, chickens and cows fall dead in alarming numbers. Kohlingen guards alert the priesthood who make quick work of containing the illness, possibly saving the lives of the livestock left.
Further, some Ox used by the Amia Cart service men show signs of illness and some even fall dead.

"Now, what do you do if you see a dead animal?"
"Find you or a guard, daddy."
"Mhmm, by no means should you touch it, or, even get closer to it. If you do, you will get sick. So, be careful, Marcus. And, keep an eye on your little sister."
"Okay, daddy."
Words of caution between a father and son living in Kohlingen. While posing no immediate threat to Ulrik, the disease reportedly targeting elves was a threat to his elven wife and half-elven children. The court wizard might be seen assisting the guards with clean-up via the Mage hand cantrip, here and there, mostly around the keep randomly throughout the day.

*Storm walks into the Nexus area, finding two elves and a wolf. He asks them if they knew anything about the sickness, and after one of the elves shapeshifts into a silvery dragon of some kind and stoutly refuses his offered help, he walks off toward the Valley of the Arachnid, and starts slaying the Shekat spiders there, collecting venom and blood samples. Heading further south into Amia Forest, he finds a few afflicted birds fluttering around near-death, and applies a few drops of both to see if the spiders possible natural immunity to the plague might be present in their blood or venom, and watches to see what happens to the birds...*

With news and disease on the doorstep of Wharftown, Kreol along with many residents and concerned travelers meet in the Dunken Dragon. The questions really seem to have no answer and many look to him to speak with the mayor as what to do. "Close down the harbor and the bar the gates!" one shouts. Pondering a complete shutdown of the harbor and city itself seems extreme but also logical. As the gathering subsides he heads straight across the road to address this with the mayor himself.

A ranger that looks to be from the orient joins Kreol to the speak with the mayor of Wharftown. After discussing alternatives with the mayor and listening to Kreol speak putting in a few comments himself, he decided to do some tracking of these deer that have fallen dead. With himself properly protected as his attire never shows any sign of exposed skin normally he wraps a sash around his head covering his nose and mouth pulls up his hood and ventures to scan across the isle to differing places where the animals have fallen his main quarry being that of deer he can backtrack once he finds a corpse and follow what they've been doing. He pays attention to drinking, eating, rutting and the like as well as common watering holes and foraging spots. Doing this he tries to determine how long it takes for the disease to set in by observing when the deer start staggering or being unsure of footing if they do.

Hashim Hoios was a busy bee today. With the few employees from his Company, Firestone Enterprises, he have started to pile up logs and wooden debris on the north side of the Minmir bridge, east of the Beastmen Cave entrance rather close to the bridge itself and the river. A small wall, only one feet high, is dug up around what looks to be a massive bonfire in the making. The genasi himself directs the few workers around, ordering logs and timber to be pulled off a few carts that originates from kholingen. If somebody inquires about the nature of this he would be told the following. "Fire Cleanses! Fire is the ultimate method to purge the sickness from this land, and in Kossuth's name I, Hashim Hoios, Shall make it happen. My employees and myself shall scour the lands for infected animals and avians and incinerate them here. More timber will be sent for from Kholingen to keep this pyre going as long as this sickness continues.
if you're looking to help out... Well, bring more timber and pull all dead creatures over here. We will contain the illness here. This is the centre of four settlements. The Elistraee shrine, The Kholingen City, Myth Winya Ravana, and Kampos storehouse. It is in close proximity for all to dispose their corpses here!
Hurry up, Damn you, I do not want more people dying because we were to slow to do anything to contain it" The genasi soon continues to bark orders to the few employees under his service, caressing the hilt of his sabre as he watches work progress. Soon he gives the order to lit the massive fire and watches as torches and flammable oils are thrown into the pyre. .

The blight continues its course to engulf the whole of Amia. It has reached the Orc lands South of Bendir Dale and the first few birds are falling in Wharftown.
It has only been a day and already the livestock of Bendir Dale has been affected. Dead and sick chickens, as well as sick cattle. Hin Militia are seen disposing of dead animals in a fire pit in the Southern hills. So far, only one Hin has claimed to be sick, but was quickly treated by Jayek, the resident Paladin and healer, and he claims to feel okay now. Town citizens rarely leave their homes, frightened by the plague. Some of them voice that they're waiting for an announcement from their government. So far, the only one they receive is by the Town Elders who ask people to report if they're ill and to stay inside when they can. No formal announcement has been made yet.
In Kohlingen, a few more animals die, but containment has been very affective and there have been no deaths of people. The people of Kohlingen are seen covering their mouths with their hands, with cloth, with scarves and with masks when walking around town. The local clergy is seen paroling the whole of the city, healing the sick and disposing of dead animals.
The Temple of Salandra is kept fairly clean as well, as Salandras clergy -- along with Ilmatari allies dressed in black robes and bird-like masks -- clean and cleanse the area regularly. As well, they treat the ill who have begun to flock to the temple in larger numbers each day. The temple clergy and their allies look overwhelmed, but they have only lost two Elven patients thus far.
In Amia Forest, more animals begin to die, as the plague spreads within. A few Elves and Half-Elves have fallen ill, while others have fallen dead. Even in the Grove, dead birds fall.
In Crystal Lake and Sky Forest, conditions are at their worst. Dead deer, birds and rats litter the grounds. Some predators have become hostile toward people, hungry for a good and non-infected meal. There are reports of wolves and wild cats attacking people, but no deaths so far from these attacks.
In Winya, the clergy is very overwhelmed as they try desperately to save lives. Their efforts are not in vain however, as many Elves and Half-Elves are successfully saved. However, healing can't come quick enough as Elves and Half-Elves continue to die. A total of 14 more today alone. Panic in the city intensifies.
In Wharftown, just hours before birds began to fall, the following message is released to the people:
___________Citizens of Wharftown,
___________No doubt you have heard or indeed seen the affects of the affliction that has fallen ___________over our island of Amia. Unfortunately, it won't be long before it reaches our town. ___________Because of this, we must all be prepared. We have been fortunate that we had ___________warning of the coming disease before it hit. High Priestess Lilith and I have been hard ___________at work preparing for when it comes.
___________Everyone should try to stay in doors when possible and wear a tight cloth over their ___________mouth and nose as a layer of protection. Anyone who feels sick should inform a guard ___________or reach the Temple of Selune for immediate healing. No one should handle dead or ___________sick animals. If you see any, inform a guard. They're as equipped to handle the situation ___________as possible. With your cooperation, we will get through this.
___________Our Lady of Silver bless Wharftown and its people,
___________Mayor Garth Arnemen ___________High Priestess Lilith Marsters

One Wharftown guardsman stays home for a long night... Saylgarix, exhausted after his trip with the druids drops into restless slumber, he stays the whole day afterwards with his family, caring for them, seemingly excusing himself from his guard duties... And yet again another restless night, Sayl, despite his time off seems like he's gotten no rest at all. He stays with his family another day... caring for them gingerly. He doesn't get in his uniform that day... he seems extremely troubled and irritated for some reason... however, he avoids conversation with anyone save his family...

For the most part the shrine of Eilistraee was careful about the dead animals they found using shovels and pitch forks the bodies were gathered and put to the pyre. Relying on water from underground, orders were made to rely on dry food and what was grown underground in the caverns. The Shrines Chickens were put down soon enough and the small rothe heard watched carefully and when watching wasn't possible were locked in fencing inside the mushroom farm caves that had been built during the renovations. The clergy informed to stay alert of the symptoms should they see any in Shrine folk or travelers. The areas were the priestess danced nude were cleaned with with small grass fires should bare feet contact any mucus, though it is recommend to residents that all dancing be clothed until the plague passes.
Perhaps it was the small population, perhaps it was that they spent much time underground, perhaps it was dumb luck that no one in the Shrine had become sick. In any case Erelkacha could be seen praying in thanks to Eilistraee and to protect the Shrine and the travelers who made there way to and from it.

A distinct Knight of the Sacred Order of Saint Elizabeth can be seen following each local where the plague is striking, offering a help to deal with those that have deceased, not only as a undertaker, but also as a friend and devote of Kelemvor. He wouldn't be wearing any mask nor covering his face with cloth. If allowed to deal with the bodies, he wouldn't be wearing gloves to deal with them.

A Fey touched druidess as been seen wandering around Amia forest seeking out the Ill with her herb pouch and scroll case, the local can hear her as she sing and rhymes as she wanders along seeking to heal as many that dwell in the woodlands regardless of reward or not, if offered she would turn it down and then quickly disappear into the woods after tending to them as mysteriously as she had arrived to find the next patient.

Arion stays inside or in the temple when in Winya to avoid the illness, or leaves outside with a careful eye to the ground and sky to seek out the areas that are still safe. When he hears about Hashim and the bonfires though, he orders the Winyan guard to stand at a distance and watch that the fires don't spread closer to Winyan lands, and to keep an eye on Hashim and anyone with him.

A wild-Elf would spend part of the day in Revelry, in despite of the trouble she would enter the Sky-Forest and she would begin to dance. Is this an act of defiance against the troubles or something else? http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r265/drew856/nwmain2012-04-0719-59-01-48.jpg

In the area south of Minmir bridge against the cliffbase and not apparent to many, a hooded and masked elf conducts an experiment calling little or no attention to it. She builds a small windbreak. Once this is satisfactory, holding a vial of the mucus oily substance she has gathered from the fallen corpses. She dips a stick in liberally, taking just enough of the substance she had gathered in the vial as to so it doesn't drip. Using a large candle showing no signs of being blessed she burns the mucus on the stick carefully letting the soot gather on flat piece of glass she holds above it with gloved hand. Once she's gathered enough samples to her satisfaction she blows out the the candle and carefully scrapes the soot off the sheets of glass on to a sheet of parchment. Everything she's used thus far has gone into a bag marked with a red 'X' save for the parchment holding the soot and the windbreak. She carefully folds the parchment to form a "V". Unstoppering another vial she, seemingly being adept at such, pours the soot into the vial tapping the end of the parchment to coerse the soot into the vial careful to not spill any of it. She corks the vial, then takes everything else she has used placeing it in the red X pack sealing it. The vial is placed in a separate case.
She is most noticable as seeming to be one of many who come and dispose of various things at the roaring bonfire then walks off nodding to any others that might be present. Once she feels she's a safe distance she mutters an incantation a minor cantrip used to clean clothing and the like. To be even more cautious, once she reaches Cordor she places her clothing into a wash bucket scrubbing them adamantly and hangs them to dry on a rope stretched across her room. She changes in to a clean outfit washing herself off before getting dressed and walking back out.

A volunteer arrives at the Salandran Temple in the early morning with a small insectivore bat on her shoulder, perhaps to avoid the worst of the direct sunlight. She introduces herself as Jocelyn Kenlyl from the Shrine of Eilistraee, and offers herself as a basic mundane healer and general go-to task person.

After speaking with the Mayor of Wharftown and a few residents Kreol begins preparing for the worst. Work ensues, preparing the Drunken Dragon Dive to become a hospice for those whom are sick as he promised the mayor he would. Once finished he begins with the clean up and burning of the fallen and sick birds that have fallen around and inside the town. Keeping in mind to never touch them and always keep his face covered with scarf or mask. After a seemingly very long day he treats himself to a well earned bottle of rum and some rest.

A sun elf can be seen passing back and forth in front of the Salandran temple, randomly picking at feverfew plants and glow berry bushes. Every time he passes, his eyes move toward the door of the temple proper, a contemplative look across his features.

A skinny looking and rather short elf can recently be seen moving through the Nexus area. He is clothed in black and hides his face beneath a hood. His mouth and nose is covered by a black cloth, his face would infact be complitely hidden if not for two dimly glowing blue eyes.
The elf can be seen examining the dead animals. He uses a shepherds staff to poke and turn the corpses aswell as he makes samples which he puts in clean and empty vials. When he finds a fresh corpse he can also be seen cutting at them with a dagger, but he is carefull to not make any direct physical contact with the dead animals and he only touches them with covered hands. He is indeed thorough and carefull as he works.
Anen would nod to those he meets and exchange as few words as possible and necessary. He would avoid physical contact with anyone at all cost.

An female elf wearing a puple and gold dress is seen walking into the temple of Salandra. She introduces herself as Lady Ar'ellin'ah Knight of Lathander and asks around for anyone that would be able to analyze a substance in a vial. She explains that the soot contained in a vial she is carrying, may or may not contain the plague that is sweeping the island. She advises using the most critical protection possible when analyzing the soot. The vial is left with Jocelyn Kenlyl with a request to analyze the contents if possible and search for any sign of the plague within the contents of the vial. She also says she'll be by daily to check and see if they have had any results. An explanaton is given on how the contents of the vial was attained.

Dwarven female in silver livery would arrive at Salandran Temple. She would introduce herself as Runa of Steelfist clan, Hight Councillor of Barak Runedar and servant of Revered Mother. She would offer her healing skills and blessing of her goddess to help with curing the victims of plague. She would also ask a lot of questions about plague itself, trying to get as much information as possible. If personnel would allow it, she would switch to more simpler robes and try to help, clearly focusing on any dwarven patient that may arrive.

The rather spry and bouncy drow volunteer skips along the temple grounds today and speaks to a Templar on duty:
"Sir Knight, there has been someone on Temple Grounds threatening to rob people for their feverfew leaves since I guess they're being used in treatments for the plague victims? The person I met that was trying to get away from her said she was a human female in dark clothing with a hood and using an acidic and negative energy blade. I think she might've been a shadow dancer, too. Thank you for watching out!"

Cordor's Ministry of Health & Public Welfare advises citizens that due to an apparent avian-borne disease currently active in Amia they should stay away from any dead birds they may find and to report them to a guard for disposal. The guard themselves are given instructions to stay as far as possible from the corpses and to use sticks or tongs to place them in heavy canvas bags. Both tools and bags are to be incinerated at a specific location outside the western gate of the city. Oil or burning hands spells may be used (under guard supervision) to cleanse the area where the bodies are found. Records are to be kept of the location and number of dead birds found and forwarded to Ministry officials via the guard office on a daily basis. Guards are further advised that the problem appears to be specific to birds but are asked to report any apparent increase in numbers of other dead animals (rats, dogs, cats, etc.) in and around the city.
