Hello

I currently have a character with the Fat Phenotype, the aptly named "Arvandross the Portly." I wanted the character to be a bit of the porky side, but I am getting frustrated with the fat phenotype. It seems to me that there is a lot of limitations with the phenotype.

Crafting... seems to be pretty much non existant with around 3 chests to choose from

Lack of ACP, while annoying, I can live with...

and Hands which look like Minecraft blocks.

So, while I am contemplating a self rebuild for him, I thought I would ask if there is a way to look fat or porky on a thin phenotype. Any ideas? Suggestions? or Experiences?

Some of the clothing options can make a skinny dude look portly, but it won't compare to the larger phenotype at all. He'd just have to change his name to Arvandross the Somewhat-Portly.

Arvandross the slim fast poster boy? :D

But yea, you just pick the padded looking clothes, there's a few like that. It'll never be quite the perfect plumpness you're after because NWN1 doesn't have a girth slider. Honestly there are a bazillion more clothing options on other servers than Amia has so you're not exactly spoiled for choice, but I'm expecting the discussion of, "Can we have more clothes please?" has come up that same bazillion times.

Well how realistic is it for your portly character to have fashion and style available in a setting and era where common people are half starving and thus skinny? Wear a tent like all the other fatties!

More serious though the fat problems are known and might be adjusted in the future if the devs have time for it. However in a fantasy game there is little love for unpretty characters.

Being fat used to be fashionable since it was a sign of wealth...

That is true, and so the fat people would realistically have fashion and style. More so than most skinny people
