Found in Thrars Bar in the Shrine where travlers and drow not permited access to the vaulted inner sanctum have full access there is a notice with the seal emblazoned with the symbol of the goddess. Writen upon it in Undercommon and repeated again in common in metalic blue inks is the following message.

Dear friends and folk who call the Shrine home, I am not one to Alarm or cause you worry but recent information sugests that our foes may be mustering their forces. We are not entirely sure of who is behind this threat however early information suggests the Lolthite house Tinneral, the Fiendish Draco Bloodcloak and number of unconfirmed foes are plotting to attack our home. As such We stress caution and cunning when traveling abroad and in the events of people seeking sensitive information regarding the Shrine. In addition due to a greater traffic of undesirables and its location as a viable beachhead for an attack against us an extra amount of Caution should be stressed when traveling in or near Kampo's Store House and surrounding area.

Any information relating to threats against the Shrine or a potential alliance of our enemies should be delivered to Jud'vadas, Erelkcaha, Phyr'tana or Sabune. If none can be found or a note sent, another priestess or well known member of the Shrine will suffice.

With a resigned if not wary sigh the high priestess adds to the warning notice posted in the Shrine
Attack Rumors have been confirmed expect greater hostility to our faith keep your symbols out of sight and faces covered when traveling through wild places. Be polite as always to strangers but take what they say with a grain of salt and be prepared that they might be our enemies. Strange and suspicious travelers visiting the Shrine are to be watched carefully at all times. Though please be tactful and polite.

Please note that our enemies often lurk around Kampo's Storehouse and may attack us on sight if we leave via that exit.

Once more I can not stess that if you overhear any information or capture anyone who is of Draco's group, House Tinneral or the group locals have dubbed Banites please bring them to the Shrine for questioning.

Another notice goes up in the Shrines Bar with the seal of house Kenlyl Stamped on it. Another is placed in Bendir dale, Kholingan and Cordor for any friends and folk of the Shrine who might have moved to or near such places.

War is coming to the Shrine of Eilistraee, to all whom call this place home and who call us friend the time will be at hand either to stand and defend the Shrine or evacuate with our non-combatants. The outcome of war can never be known with certainty, yet no matter the outcome of this coming storm we will endure. If our home falls to evils blades if we must retreat to the shadows of the deep woods and dark caves so shall it be. For no matter what defeat is leveled upon us our faith, our friendships our hope will never die!

Let our Moonswords sing with the death cries of the wicked, for even in defeat we are legend and our foes not but ashes upon the night wind!

~.. This Shrine will hold, or I will die in it's defense honourably. ~ a female elf at the Shrine thinks to herself as she meditates quietly.

A new Notice appears in Thars Bar for the folk of the Shrine.

The Grand High Hunt

You may or may not be acquainted with our custom of the high hunt or our Shrines custom of the Grand hunt, however I would like to inform you folk and friends that the Senior Council of the Shrine have decided it is high time that we hold another. The place and date have not yet selected but when they are they shall be divulged by the Senior clergy and council! All the Shrine who wish to come are invited as are your trusted friends so long as they abide by the rules of the hunt.

The way of the Hunt.
The High Hunt involves the faithful of the lady scouring the wilderness destroying evil beings, creatures and man-eating animals. Animals and magical beasts that can be used for food, leather and such are to be collected as is any treasure taken from humanoid foes and given to small villages and forest folk as gifts. The High hunt is lead by a priestess, Darksong Knight or other member of the clergy. Whom must lead the hunt nude with only the ladies blessings, her skill and our faithful who join the hunt to keep her safe. Others may be nude if they wish it is a custom but not a requirement. After the hunt we return to our Shrine of a serviceable forest glade to sing, dance and feast, or what ever one likes.

The Grand Hunt entails the same save for it covers a larger area and in addition to found goods we offer charitable gifts of our own making or purchase to a near by settlement. The gifts can be anything from children's toys and candy to craftsman's tools, livestock or weapons, what ever you feel like offering as a gift/s. A Dark Lady aways leads a Grand Hunt. Otherwise is identical to the High Hunt.

That having been said even if you can't attend and wish to offer gifts to be give to the township selected feel free to give them to Senior Shrine members. Feel free to craft some or think of some ahead of time while we hammer out the details of this years Grand Hunt!

Evil shall be driven before us like terrified game desperate to escape the fury of we who shall run the night like righteous wolves, the Hunters Horn shall be our howl, our swords fangs and our ladies light the mother of our holy wrath!

on one of her many trips to the shrine Forestsong would see this note and grin... and leave a simple note

"I'm in.
