((Mmm, Fridays are usually not good for me personally, and I would like to be there as Mayor. I may or may not have to go out of town on a short notice depending on a Friday. Sundays are worth considering, but I don't want people to be up into the wee hours of the night in Eurozone on Sundays, whereas staying up on Saturdays are usually more reasonable. Though it really depends on everyone's work schedule and such. I'll let Euro people chip in first before I give a definite no or yes))

Samantha stops by to donate bags to both efforts. In the Guldorand pile she places two bags of cut and measured planks of wood and a bag of bread. In the Khem pile she places two bags full of apples, cherries and bread.

A dark-skinned Ffolk woman with striking blue eyes and small patches of iridescent silvery-blue scales on her brow, jawline, hands, and arms leaves several boxes of ice-packed fish in the room designated for the relief effort. Accompanying her is the raptoran, Menaiivan.

They would tell Fendel that there are 20 trout, 19 salmon, and 12 bass all packed in ice. They also informed him that the fish ought to be delivered soon so they do not go bad.

Laurel checks on the inn several times a day to make sure she casts her blessings from the Hearthkeeper on the different perishables before having them sent to the designated regions.

Malatril, Kex and Hallvardr come to the Dale carrying magical bags filled with standard rations, bottled water, and healing kits. All of those are being donated solely to assist Guldorand. Malatril also promises to those working on sorting the supplies he will come soon with tents, blankets and soap and more food.

Hm, I think I have nothing else going on this Sunday, now that the Packers have choked. I'll try to be there.

A letter is returned from Laurel addressed to the Sekhry at the compound.

Malatril returns next day, as promised, bringing magical bags filled with bottles of fresh water, camping equipment, blankets and soap. He leaves them with Sally and return to his duties.

Doodles of a gauntlet hand around the throat of a hin would be seen on the announcements with a note:

Simply the doodle would be taken down and it would be replaced with the copy of the same announcement. Identity of the person making the doodles would be inquired to Fendel, Tak, General Nof, and Cindle who would all be in the direct line of sight of these announcements.

He still did not think well of ta ACS Director who knew and permitted his carters ta take as he puts it "money under ta table" and feigns innocence 'sself. Yea show me lot a fella's in ta shippin a goods and I shows ya a lot as takin a bit a this and bit a that when none about ta see.

"Them carters is like most tallers. As soon as ta a hint a trouble toss ta Hin outta ta wagon, boat, buildin or what ever while ya runs ta other way. Better yet punt ta Hin as ya gits more distance." He mumbles under his breath as he goes past ta baker.

Report pertaining to Breazy's presence in Bendir today -

I came out into the Square, having been upstairs in the Inn, and was informed by Rhyl of the Shrine that he had just left a letter for me with Cindle. Both the letter, and subsequent talking with Rhyl, and with a somewhat astonished Jayek and Dirk, both of whom were present in the Square, and surprised Militia Guards, I learned that Coenin had brought Breazy into Bendir via Portal Wand, but very soon after, sent her under escort for her safety, to the Shrine.

I was informed that Coenin was outside the gates at that point, so went to find him, and discovered him up the hill, on the road, attempting to move along a self-confessed warrior of Garagos, who berated and argued with us, and then left North towards the forest.

There were several passers by questioning and debating with us about the new carting arrangements and location, and much other activilty through Bendir at the time, including one individual passing through who Coenin had apparently also challenged, a little earlier, for drawing arrow on an Underdark female in black and orange, just outside the gates, despite Militia presence.

Eventually, things quietened enough for me to take Coenin into the Meeting Hall, and have him explain Breazy's presence and his escorting of her in, via Portal. Apparently, they had both been at Kampo's, Coenin having gone to see Breazy in response to a letter she had sent him, asking for some metalworking done for door hinges for this ridiculous new settlement she is supposedly planning. Kehurin and his little gang of cronies arrived at Kampo's, and Coenin brought Breazy to Bendir for her safety rather than leave her there, though doubtless she asked him to do so simply to cause a stir here and cause trouble for him, rather than her simply walking over to the Shrine for safety, instead of having to be escorted back to the Shrine from Bendir.

After some discussion with Coenin, I believe I successfully impressed upon him that nobody other than the Mayor has the authority to do such, and that even the Mayor would be unlikely to do so even for the best of reasons, due to the confusion and other negatives it would cause.

Further explanation impressed upon Coenin the multitude of things Breazy had done, resulting in her Ban, and the silly delaying tactics and transparent manipulation she had tried to employ, and he assures me he will aid her in no other way in the future.

He also understands there may need to be further discussion with you in this matter.

Dear Citizens and Friends of the Dale,

Due to an agreement reached with Amian Cart Services Director, we have asked ACS carts to move to a new designated area across from our orchard. As part of the agreement, visitors and citizens alike are now dropped off on the outskirts of the Dale depending on the direction of the cart that you took to reach the Dale. This is largely due to the fact we have experienced quite a bit of congestion on our roads.

Bemmi, our famous bread breaker, has also been moved inside the gate right next to the oven itself, offering fresh loaf of bread as it comes!

We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused due to these changes. Please look for the ACS sign across from the orchard near the gated bridge and our northern gate.

((At the moment, we understand quite a bit of folks were confused because of the mini map pin is in the wrong location and the carts seemingly disappeared. It is not a bug that you are dropped at locations that seems like middle of no where. Hope this announcement will help with that!))

Laurel looks at the report and stamps it to let everyone know it has been dealt with. The following address is made to the Militia.

Militia Members,

While we, the Dale, do not seek violence nor destruction, let us also not be foolish and naive in dealing with criminals and known enemies of the Dale. Given the circumstances, I do not believe Corporal Coenin's actions warrants a punishment. I will, however, issue an address to all members of the Militia.

First of all, escorting individuals that are banned from the Dale is simply not allowed. There is a reason we have a list of exceptions and a short list of names that have such authorities to do so. It is not limited simply to drow or goblinoids. There is also a good reason that individuals are banned from the Dale, whether they be drow, goblins, or criminals. We, the Dale, offer means for banned individuals to gain or regain their access to the Dale, but it is not based on a will of an individual alone. Please do not take matters into your own hands without consulting the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor, the Captains, or the Council when doing so.

Secondly, while we do not welcome evildoers with open arms, threatening visitors who have not caused harm to the Dale is strongly discouraged. It is our current stance to allow visitors from many walks from life to visit the Dale, including those who directly oppose the teaching of the Mother and Her Children. While Militia Members are strongly encouraged to be wary of such individuals, violence is not the way. I have banned Talonites, Cyricists, and Sharrans in the short time I have been a Mayor and none of these bans were done violently or maliciously. I expect all Militia Members to show the same level of calmness and rationality in dealing with those whose fundamental beliefs are incompatible with our own values. If they are to cause trouble in the Dale grounds, report to the Mayor or the Captains immediately. We will issue a ban on case by case basis if their behavior warrants.

Finally, we, the Dale, do not provide custody for those we have explicitly banned in the Dale. Whether it be Lolthites, Sharrans, and the like, Militia Members are only encouraged to request such conflict to be moved outside of the Dale grounds for the safety of our own citizens and visitors; Not those followers of undeniably evil gods that we have specifically banned. Let it be known that it is only with our benevolence and lack of thirst for blood that we allow those of malicious intent to travel on our roads despite their wrongdoing. We have no obligations whatosever to ensure their safety at the cost of the safety of our citizens and visitors who are obviously not banned from the Dale.

Honored Mayor Beestinger,

I am Citizen Artum Tauri of the Commonwealth of Cordor and have been placed in charge of the effort to safeguard and rebuild the Guldorand Logging Company and the township.

I wish to first thank you and the people of the Dale for taking in the refugees from Guldorand in their time of need. As you have probably heard, the attacks on their lands have continued with another hellball incident that resulted in the death of one Knight and a few more of their friends. It would have been far worse had the Dale not accepted so many into their care.

I fear I must request another service however.

I have spoken with both Sir Justin and Sir Jerand about having the generously large amount of gold and jewels donated for the rebuilding of Guldorand moved to a safer location as I fear it will only bring more trouble to an already troubled people being in the ruins. The Dale is the closest location that has a Morgan and Son's storehouse and with your permission, I would like to have this and all future donations of valuables placed there for safekeeping and then, it can be accessed as needed.

The humanitarian aid and building materials can continue to be stored in the cave area as they are now as most would not think to steal stone, wood, food or similar items as their value is simply not sufficient for such.

Sir Jerand and I met with a Miss Sally last eve also so that Sir Jerand can see to the medical needs of the refugees and set up regular visits. While there I enjoyed greatly seeing the improvements to the Dale's defenses and the additional militia as well as the mill, gardens and other amenities the Dale has become famous for.

The bread and rolls were quite good also as I sampled some fresh from the oven. I hope the refugees are eating well but, I must say, I fear they may grow too accustomed to such fine food and may not wish to come back to the cold of the mountains!

I do have plans to increase the food variety and stocks once the town is fully rebuilt however, including chickens, pigs and fish stocks. Sadly, cattle are a bit to much as we are limited in room and they may also bring the giants, spiders and dragons of the Crags into the town which, naturally, is the very thing we are trying to avoid.

If you have suggestions on how to improve our ability to produce good quality food for our people, I would be most interested in hearing them.

And also, with your permission, we can move the funds to the storehouse and continue to collect any funding via that means.

Please let me know and thank you and the people of Bendir Dale once again for all the assistance.
