Through the side caverns deep in the Underdark, there is what appears to be a body... the insignia is old and foreign to those of Edonil... well to all save one. The colors of the remaining bits of clothing are in the black, deep purple and tarnished gold of a noble house of Guallidurth. Suspended from what must have been a belt a bit back is a holy symbol, this of Kiaransalee, the elaborately crafted symbol telling the viewer it is no ordinary worshiper to meet her end here, but Yathrinsalee. There are no signs of a sacrifice, its seems she merely lost her way in the unfamiliar caverns so far from her home, if checked her portal wand is spent....
What a way for a drow priestess to die... not in battle over some insult or slight, not poisoned by an enemy or ambitious daughter, not even an attempted assassination by a jealous rival... just a sad silent death lost in caverns unknown....
...such was the fate of Ssin'urn Rah d'Aphyon, Yathrinsalee d'Kiaransalee, Ilharess Rah d'Aphyon. Was she searching for surviving House members? None will ever know...most likely...none will care.

An elven shaped female figure clad in heavy plated armor and cloaked in a spell of invisibility would be seen, to those with the ability to see her, carefully moving about the caverns as well. She would appear to be unfamiliar with the area around Edonil and L'Obsul as well, likely the need for the spell warding her presence. Her plate armor is dark in color and design, the tower shield on her back matching it as well. At her side is a longsword of nigh-obvious drow design.
Spotting the fallen figure, she carefully moves for it, eyes alert for any sign of dangerous creatures. Finding none so far, she stoops to check the body. Noting the lack of life in her woman's body, she instead glances her over slowly, her gaze taking note on the various symbols upon her armor. Upon seeing the symbol of the Revenancer, she takes pause and scowls slightly as her mind turns in thought.
After several long moments she reaches into her bag and withdraws a scroll. Checking again for any signs of danger, and finding none, she dispells her invisibility and quietly reads the scroll. She calls out to Lolth, asking for the Dread Queen to bring the drow's soul back to her body. She stands, a hand on her sword as she watches and waits.

A male in black and purple bronze armor stalks out of the darkness and slows upon viewing the body. He hangs his shield and tugs off his glove keeping his sword ready. If the female is still waiting over the corpse, she is fended off with a skeletal hand bearing silver rings on each joint. He searches the body noting the symbol and the face, looking specifically for the silver rings that should be present on a priestess of her rank.
He nods shortly making a decision. A word of power is invoked and a wraith is rased from the corpse, which proceeds to hover menacingly at anyone present. Without a sound other than a small grunt of effort, he drags the body off, the wraith following into the darkness of the tunnel from which he came.
Less than a full cycle later the body is found wraped in linen and scented oils posed at the feet of the idol of Kirransalee in the Temple of Edonil. A wraped package, containing all the clothing and gear from the body is located close to the side of the idol, over wich a wraith stands guard. Laid upon the idol itself are the holy symbol and rings the victim might have had.
For each of the next three cycles the male retutrns at the twentyfourth segment to give a silent prayer and check on the state of the body. He waits three cycles to see if his mistress would give back her mortal hands voice or if the shell has truly been cast aside.

The mysterious drowess, being experienced in the divine arts, would have left long before he arrived. If a few minutes had passed and the corpse still had not stirred, she would have cast an invisibility spell over herself again and departed without a word or look back.
// Was waiting for her to post before I posted that, oh well!

For three cycles has the armored male returned and given silent prayers due the Dread Revenancer while checking on the state of the females body laid before Her idol. Seeing no apparent change he nods and strides from the Temple with purpose.
At nearly mid-cycle, he returns with several lengths of wood, a few lengths of cord, a bucket, and several casks of oil. A small pyre is built near the Temple away from webbing and spiders. After the blood is drained into the bucket and the eyes removed and secured into small vials, the female is laid upon the pyre and set ablaze. A vigil is maintained by the male until only ashes remain, several scrolls of Burning Hands being used to help things along if neccesary. The ash is collected and mixed with the blood and taken to the Revenancer's idol.
After the male again exits the Temple, the Idol of Kiaransalee is covered from head to toe in pasty ash and some thirty three bloody ash hand prints adorn the wall behind the idol. With no other trace of the female save two eye's secreted in a pocket, the male returnes to the darkness he stalked but three cycles before.

The paste of blood and ash remain, though fresh, still not aging after many cycles. Somewhere there is still a desire for vengeance in this soul, it clings to the last remnants of its mortal remains, but it waits...for what? There is a strong feeling of hatred and anger surrounding the bloody ashen paste, mixed with a feeling of despair and futility.
One of the rings would roll to the front of the foot of the idol, even if replaced elsewhere it would appear again the next cycle. It is of silver, bearing the skeletal hand with the five rings in a stylized manner, the one ring on the hand's ring finger is gold, if you can see it clearly enough to notice, the background behind the skeletal hand is of a deep purple, flecked with gold.
//sry missed the three cycles of vigil, was without net as I moved and not watching all posts, would have responded by the third cycle

Ul'ath'tallar Nizzre'tyne after spending hours in the Yath'tallar library reading and taking notes makes her way down into the Temple entry and sits on a bench in front of the Kiaransalee idol. She snaps her fingers twice which brings 52 running. He kneels, head down and waits.
"Bring me a bowl of fragrant dried flowers. Then set it between the idol and the Spider Guard." She commanded and 52 lept up to do her bidding.
She then looked to the Spider guard in the room. "Continue to keep me informed. I shall be in Tarkuul speaking with High Priest Vlos." She stood brought forth a portal and her last words to the guards were "By the way, anyone else caught portaling out from inside the Temple shall be punished."

The ring rolls to the bowl of flowers and stays there, placing it between itself and the Spider Guard and any spiders in the room. Is it possible this Yathrinsalee was from a place not so tolerant of her type or goddess, the lesser noble house insignia of Guallidurth, the Fabled Temple City, might make one believe so.
Ul'ath'tallar Nizzre'tyne might have a recollection of a highly defensive young drowess wearing foreign colors and house insignia, some time back, standing determinedly in front of the idol though told she was forbidden it without permission, staring her down even as then Yathallar Nizzre'tyne pronounced death on her for her defiance.
