New Rules set forth by Ust’Ilhares Mayarra Qos’Yutsu and agreed to by all Matron Mothers:

1. There must be official notices posted of charges before any arrests are made.

2. The VDVM (Imperial Drow Security School) shall be an open academy, Ilharess Jhal’vyrae My’afin in charge, Zarae My’afin and Szor’drin Ussen d’Vhid members.

3. No commoner is allowed to have any but the lowest rank in an Edonil academy.

The Matron Codes with the updates added by Ilharess Maral Tinnerai were approved.
I have not officially seen these Matron Codes so I am unable to post them here.

Please note that the Temple of Lolth is not an academy.

All charges of heresy, unless they come directly from one of your Yath’tallars at the Temple are invalid.

Sirin looks over the new laws carefully and he is nearly taken a back. He then muses to himself, "Even the tramps in Menzoberrenzan wouldn't be as foolish to disallow commoners to climb to spots they rightfully and most likely kill to get to. It seems the lovely ladies here need a little wake up call." With that he heads off through the shadows.

Strange....? I do naut remember adding any updates to it? The updates... Well better word for it being adendums, were added by Ilharess Maral. Perhaps she means that which i pointed out within the list provided by the Ust'ilharess and added to by Ilharess Maral. Didn't add them though. Merely emphasized them, even though personnaly i think them folly.

*also taps the one about the VDVM shaking her head with another frown, again thinking outloud*

Leader of? Oh nau nau. It is Zarae that is to head that organisation, as was agreed.. Why would i wish to lead it? (she ponders rhetorically) I would be far to busy with my Quellar.

*Calle' looks over the list with a smile*I do hope the matrons meet again soon....there is much left to accomplish in the city of webs and only they can do it. *She then walks off, drumming her fingers on her staff*

*Zarae stumbles across one of the notices and begins to read it. However right at the beginning she pauses, and narrows her brows.*



*Snorts, shakes her head and leaves without finishing reading.*
- How does that make any of the witnesses and the scribe credible, if one of the witnesses presence was not in fact witnessed at all...

*Tharith looks over the posting and gives a mild shrug then just watches as various citizens pass by, occasionally commenting to a passer by that the Drow in Edonil "really need to stop talking aloud to themselves".*

Yath'tallar Elvinna'dris exits the Temple with a Temple slave carrying two boxes. She calls out to the surrounding commoners. "I have a job to be done! Two jaluken with a large frame are needed and the pay will be bwael. The Temple supports its city!" As two common jaluken come running, she orders the slave to give one heavy box to each. "The tea box for him. The whiskey box for him. Bella."

"You." She speaks to the first. "Deliver your box of tea-- as noted on it, if you can read-- to House Ussen d'Vhid down the slope to congratulate them on attaining First House and their moves to bring glory to The City of Webs. The Temple, as always, supports its Council."

"You." She speaks to the second. "Deliver your whiskey to the upstart Iira'urdens. Congratulate their Matron on behalf of the Temple for her ennobled status and perhaps you may entreat her to become a noble jaluk in her quickly rising House. The Matrons seem to adore their commoners so suddenly now."

"The rest of you! The Matrons have convened and come forth once more. Do naut fear, Lolth is with us. The Temple welcomes your worship unless you should deem yourselves brave enough to face the new regime. It is said that they appreciate their commoners once more. Lolth tlu malla."

A few minutes before Yath'tallar Elvinna'dris had exited the Temple. Ul'ath'tallar Nizzre'tyne had been on her way in, she stopped to take down the previously posted notice and replaced it with the latest one from Ilharess Maral Tinnerai.

Once inside she found her stash of special orchid tea. She breathed in the fragrance and double checked it for any contaminates. Then she carefully took the loose tea leaves and scooped a generous portion into a black silk bag. She added a specially made tea infuser shaped like a spider made from silver into a black silk lined gold box and added the silk bag of tea. The outside of the box was decorated with gem encrusted spiders. Since Nizzre'tyne was a master at gold smiting the work was of excellent quality. This was the gift prepared and sent to Ust'Ilharess Eclav'llara Ussen d'Vhid from the Temple. The card along with it reads: "The Temple congratulates Ust'Ilahress Ussen d'Vhid on her promotion to First House may this tea serve to sooth you at the end of the cycle."

I didn't take long for Nizzre'tyne to find a suitable bottle of whiskey for she had quite a few to choose from in her private stash. She tucked it into a black silk lined gold box wishing she had more time to etch the Ilra'urden insignia on it. No card was included.
