Good Morning / Afternoon, I'm looking to bring House Qos'Yutsu back together again now that some changes have occurred to the Underdark Game. Historically Qos' has reputation of coming and going based on Veh'dra's appearance in Amia. Though historically it's never befitted from my co-leadership until recently. Although at this time it is uncertain whether or not the historical leader will return. I am going forward in effort to call back old members to join me in forming a house and bring another dimention to the politics of the underdark. At this time if your an old member of Qos, new to drow, or looking to get involved in an up and coming underdark house please contact me. I have lot of experiences in runing factions on Amia as I ran Co-Leader of Tinnerai for two years, then leader of it for another two. Together let's bring Drow Tradition back edonil or help L'bsol define it's tradition. So far we have three members. Don't let Drow RP scare yah! I've trained tons of players how to play succesful drow elves. Now that we have more play ground options depending on the type of characters we get will decide if we are going to play in edonil or lob'sol

I've been thinking about what our capacity should be in Amis and it really depends on the Yath support. If we do like an official house, or a mercenary group
Of course we could do a commoner house but then well just get bulllied around by the Lothies. I feel a like a commoner house would work best in Lobsol.
But if the players really want in on the Ednoil action I have cleric character that can play leadership.

New Matrons are hard to come by.
I think we are going to shift to a Mercerney Group like Bregen'ther. Tonight RP really had good opinions of that.
We'll have to come up with name. Somthing like ... Coupe De Grace...
Or Sisterhood. or somtihng like that, I'll put more thought into it.
Or we can stick with Qos'Yutsu! It's meaning is allready pretty cool. Do we wanna like formalize house? or just keep it no tags, with specific guild color, or tag with no color?

Me and a friend are currently running around with a pair of houseless evil drows. To be frank, we have no idea where to even begin when it comes to drow politics, and so we've mostly been bumming around Underport and Kempo's Storehouse. The characters in question are Orvas Dren and Renoir. So this sounds like a good place for us to start, if you'd have us.

To an extent even Vhaeraun does, however like Vhaeraun Kiaralsnee wants Lolth dead. However Ghaunder is even known to work with Lolth a good deal as well.

Point is we're not going to be a priestess lead house in less someone comes out of the blue. Willing to asstist with this. other wise we are going to be lead by Ra'mora.
I've been giving it a lot of thought and I was recently contacted by the vanguard in a conversation of what exactly are my goals. Extended open support if we bring out house to L'bosol. Although I haven't decided anything specifically yet. It is tempting to be able to operate fully instead of having to be bullied by present noble houses because of our unconventional approach. Some may seem surprised as I strayed away from tradational ways. It's no secret that I among some have been the loadest about how the underdark should be. Dispute the long conversations OOCly, and veh and my plots to swing Edonil on a more traditional path. since then I've come to learn a lesson that your not going to change much. Since none of the other houses have impressed me its best I carv my own part of the underdark and bring power and wealth and fun do to those who follow me.

Yes, Kiaransalee supports Lolth and if she gets the chance throws wrenches in the works. Events have made Kiaransalees accepted in Edonil. And events have made Ghauranduars enemies. Yet that doesn't mean it can't be changed. It'd be great to have a merchant or a mercenary house for Qos'Yutsu. Let me know if I can help.

I don't mean to crush your ideas with this post... but the Underdark playerbase is too small to actively support its current number of factions as it is. Instead of creating yet another faction, why don't you pool resources with the ones currently out there?
As of today, there is:
- House Tinnerai (Lolth focused, Edonil-centric)
- House Vandree (Lolth focused, Edonil-centric)
- House Ussen'Dvhid (Lolth focused, Edonil-centric)
- House [insert name later due to memory blank] (Lolth focused, Edonil-centric)
- Viz'aun's mob aka "The Slaver Federation" (who knows what centric they are) and finally,
-The Obsidian Vanguard (L'Obsul/Trade-centric)
Then to emphasise my point even further, there's also the public factions that as a Drow you're also encouraged to be a member of:
-The Magthere (focused for melee characters)
-The Sorcere (focused for mage-like characters) and,
-The Temple of Lolth (where only the female clerics are allowed to play) which at some stage will eventually encourage the creation of,
-The Spiderguard (people who just watch the door where only the female clerics are allowed to play)
That's 9 "factions" between like 12 regular players... which equates to 1.3333r people per faction, if each player was a member of 1 faction each. Do you see the point I'm getting at here?
If you vehemently wish not to be tied to Edonil's daily schemes, then why not consider combining with the Vanguard or contacting Viz'aun? Both of them are mercenary-like factions that have their own agendas and aren't bound to the guidelines of Lolthite structure. Both would be more then happy to take you, and be grateful for your input.
I most definately respect your ideas don't get me wrong, I just feel it's not the right path to start another faction when there's so many to choose from.

The clerics direct the activities but other classes are included. -The Spiderguard (people who just watch the door where only the female clerics are allowed to play) Please note that the Spider Guard are males that have cleric or BG levels. They actually have a lot of power in the scheme of things and do not just watch the door. Please note that these are not considered separate factions, more like activities your character can participate in to give them other things to do. All House members and commoners of Edonil are expected to serve Edonil in some fashion so that Edonil is not a place where folks are standing around idle. That's 9 4ish "factions" between like 12 21 regular players... which equates to 1.3333r people per faction, if each player was a member of 1 faction each. Do you see the point I'm getting at here? So,the Noble houses are factions. They need a place to meet, plot and be safe from the other houses as drow society is a back stabbing one. Think of the academies (Magthere, Sorcere, Temple) as places to meet with similar classes and learn a thing or two.
Since the surface has, I'm not sure how many factions, I am in total support of anyone who wants to give creating a faction a go. As I posted earlier, if I can help out Qos'Yutsu please let me know.

Alas... you are right:
I can't actually tell you how to rule your own roost, that's true. I did however share my opinion that Less is More, and I wish Qos'Yutsu all the best, even if I don't necessarily see logic with what they're doing.
As usual, I find the personal attacks rather entertaining however.
