[Created this thread for people to post IC rumors, actions and activities in the Underport. Would be lovely to see this stickied if possible.]
The slave trade seems to be on the rise lately. In the recent days the city has seen several profitable auctions. Business seems to be booming for the Dark Port. Even with the increase of Slave trade, over all violence and related trouble appears to be on the decline. Around the streets several notices can be seen:
Contest of Gladiators
Do you have a slave or gladiator youre looking to make profit on? This is the event for you! For a mere One Hundred Thousand coins you may submit a Gladiator for the pits. Whomever's gladiator survives the fight will win the pot of the collected entry fees. The more who enter, the bigger the prize!
All entered gladiators and their masters will meet in Underport. The gladiators will be taken to the armory room where they will be stripped of all of their belongings. They will then be given their choice of armor or clothing from the options we have available. The gladiators will be given nothing but clothing! The fighting grounds will be littered with weapons, shields and wild card items that can be collected durring the fight. They may only use what they find on the ground!
Gladiators must be moderately trained adventurers in physical or ranged combat. The use of spells is strictly prohibited! NO MAGIC! The location of the Tournament will not be announced until right before the combatants and their masters portal to it. Portals will be provided by the Hosts.
Once more, whomever's gladiator wins the fight will recieve the collection of entry fees so tell your friends! The more people you bring, the more money you (and your gladiator if you feel generous) might win!
Interested parties should meet in Underport for details and registration within the next tenday! Good luck!

Looking for Low-Mid level warrior characters Ideally level 5-15.
Will be in Underport after I get home from work (Approx. 3-4 Hours from time of this posting). Direct inquiries to my PM box or send me a tell in Game while im on. Otherwise just go to Underport.

Word travels through the dark of the victory of Acerbus Vandree over the other gladiators durring the Slaver sponsored pit fight. He won by demonstrating skill and cunning, leading his opponents into deadly snares and traps to weak them before placing the final mortal blows. He did his house well in representing the Vandree name.

In the depths of Underport, onlookers could see two darkly clad elves carrying what appears to be a very badly mauled Viz'aun on a stretcher. His body was covered with a cloth, though it appeared wet, as if he'd been found laying in water or snow. They took himside of a safely guarded compound without trading words with any who passed by. Before long, chanting and magical commands could be heard coming from the compound. As to what happened with the Commander, or to if they were able to revive him - only those within the compound could tell...
//Good job to the members of the Horsmen for managing to get the drop on old Viz. A shame I had to go and roll that 1 prematurely... Until next time, to be sure.

Slavers gathered in Underport, once again victorious. In tow they carried a large group of slaves and prisoners. Each prisoner was cleaned up and stripped for sale, then shackled on the auction stand. Before long, word spread all over the Underdark and even to the realm above of a grand auction of slaves being conducted. People from all over gathered to see the event.
The auction proceeded without Incident, in spite of the many varying races and factions meeting together in the Under Port market square. Once again, the host of the auction was the ancient dark elf, Viz'aun d'Vandree. He auctioned slave after slave, collecting millions. Each slave was transported away by their new owners before the entire group of Slavers vanished through a portal gate. The auction square slowly cleared out and the Slavers left little trace as to where they vanished with their newly collected profits...

Gladiator Pits Return!
Like the title says, your friendly neighborhood Slaver organization is hosting another addition to our pit fights! This is a test of survival and skill for Warriors and rogues. Interested parties my provide a gladiator of their choosing ((level 5-15)). The entry fee for each submitted gladiator will be One Hundred Thousand coins. The entry coin will be put into one collective pot and the owner of the winning gladiator will receive the winnings. The more people who submit a gladiator, the larger the pot! Spectators without a gladiator can place bets on house gladiators in an effort to win the pot as well.
Mages and Spell Casters may not be submitted as Gladiators. Each warrior will be stripped of all of their equipment and outfitted with the tournament armor and clothing. Weapons and other equipment will be scattered around the combat zone. Gladiators may use only what they find on the ground. The last man standing wins. Gladiator submission will begin in three days time ((Thursday Approximately 12:00PM EST)) and once enough have gathered, we will move to the combat grounds. We look forward to another strong outcome.

One of the posters....just one...is removed. The person removing it is a tall, muscled form. In full plate, it's hard to tell whether they are male or female. One carefully glancing in the eyeslits of the helm might see intense, and decidedly feminine, violet eyes.
