would it cost DCs to have my panther familiar changed back to the default NWN one? The new appearance is oogly.

The new panther appearance is an override, not a different appearance. So, you can't really change it, unless you remove the override client-side. There is one included in the newest Amian hakpack.  Edit: Not one... Like a bundle, I guess. I don't know everything thats in it, but it changed a couple things, panthers being one of them. _________________ feel the blood gushing from your anusONE feel the blood gushing from your anus

Playing with a blank override folder didn't change the panther back, which means the change is in the haks.
|

I suppose I could manually find the hak that contains the appearance overrides and delete the resources with NWHak on my end, but that doesn't seem like a very elegant solution.

I wouldn't go deleting all the appearances, those new skellies are beautiful.

It wll also get you kicked out of teh server for not having the resources. Yeah, we replaced a lot of the big cat skins.

Will it really? I thought it only checked if you had files that were named correctly, and if you were missing resources you got graphical issues and crashes assuming it was vital stuff. Kudos to whoever implemented a resource check.

Don't go to all the fuss of fiddling with haks for this. There'll be a bug fix version of the hak sooner or later and it'll have a few changes to the models too.

This is wierd.. all the skeletons look the same to me as does the panther. Am I missing something?

I would like to take this opportunity to complain about how fucking godawful some of those hak models look. Not sure about this panther thing, but the camels literally made my eyes bleed. They're that bad. What the hell is that, a 64x64 texture? Yeugh! I mean, I understand the utility of having it in there, if there's no suitable replacement, but... IT'S SO BAD! IT'S SO VERY, VERY BAD!!! SOMEBODY REWRAP THAT DAMN THING!!! DO IT!NOW!Edit: Actually, I'm so angry about this that I'd be willing to do it myself. Just gimme the files.

The eyes are so weird. Did you want a version with the same sort of fur as the new male lion model?

 I don't like it. I know the old version is ...well, its yellow. But it has a quiet dignity. Which I like. As opposed to...hrm. I don't know whats going on with the new ones eyes. The fangs are cool - I like that part - but the eyes are so wierd. Let me play with it for a bit. See if I can make the old ones fur look suitably funky. I'll post something later.

 What do you think? I still don't like the face of the male lion, but its beyond my meager ability to touch it up. As it is the Lioness paws. But at least these two are matching. Sorta. Compare above to original lioness and new lioness. IDK. Tell me what whoever added the models to the hak was wanting.
