This didn't really fit in the lore/build thread, so... What determines the color of the monk's glowing eye effect? Am I allowed to request to have it changed?

Its default color is based on alignment: Blue for good, purple for neutral, and red for evil. You're "allowed" to request anything you want, I imagine. But those three colors are the only choices available, I'm fairly certain.

Ah, makes sense. I've seen green before, I think, and maybe yellow, which made me wonder if you were allowed to have them changed. Worded my other question wrong- what I meant was, on what grounds would a request to change the glow color be approved?

A request depends on how well of a story is behind it

Those extra colors are usually done by hak and im not sure if the extra shades were ever put into the amian ones.

There are other colours, available by request for 15 DCs. Not sure if they'd be free if you already have monk eyes, I'm guessing there'd at least be some sort of discount.
(Or not. Read below!)

Other colors are possible, provided you're not a level 20 monk, AFAIK. This is because the monk eyes are hardcoded, and will override the other colors.

So I can request my desired glow color (and would need to before 20).
Is RP necessary for the change or can I just ask/say which color I want before I hit 20? And the cost for the change would be 15 DCs?

Once you hit level 20, the eye colour would be overridden anyway.
