*This note would be posted in Cordor, Tarkuul, Kohlingen and outside the Dale*
To all you adventurers
Do you fancy a challenge?
Have you bested all that there is around this isle?
If so, then I offer you the challenge to go to the Forest of Despair, home of the Malarites and their temple, to fight the dark man of the woods! A malarite like no other that wishes to keep his own home safe, and his brethren as he calls them, even though he slaughters them on his own.
If you ask why you see this notice, then I shall tell you. Myself and a few others were doing what most ambitious adventurers have done, and what you, the reader may have done; you went to the Forest of Despair to test your mettle. Well, luck have it my group was confronted and told to leave by this fellow. I'll admit that we were brash when we thought we had the chance, but what we did not expect that this man is an accomplished shifter, taking the form of a fearsome green dragon and spraying his corroding breath on us, ending us all. What he did tell us was that he'd like a message to go out; that his forest.. his home is no longer a killing ground, nor his temple, that all who intrude will die. Even though the dogma of Malar is for the strong to survive, in which his "brethren" didn't, he payed no heed to the logic and struck us down. Indeed, we were given the option to leave, but would you be pushed around? I surely would not let a malarite do so, but if I had known this man was above my experience, then I'd have thought better. It seems he only would pray upon those who are still learning the way of the warrior, not allowing himself to be tested agaisnt those more formidable, unless you, the reader, like to have a go.
With this I leave this for you to decide, if I could not do it, who will? Will you let your loved ones, your friends die at the hands of bloodthirsty malarite? Will you let this man intimidate all who wish to rid the isle of these bloodthirsty savages? He has told me himself, to put this message out so I have. I will admit that once I myself have got my proper training, I will repay this man in the same. Do not take this as yet another Amian whining, as it is not, it is but what he has asked of myself and the others.
Be cautious
-Nicolos
//I would like to say that this RP was quite nice. Kudos to you Malarite =)//

A certain hin sees this notice outside the Dale and her face darkens she says nothing and writes nothing... she heads west from the Dale not looking back.

Kaci spots this outside the Dale then growls quietly and slips back off disappearing among the trees in the nearby forest.

Buddy, Walking past randomly like he normally does stops by the post outside Bendir Dale and tilts his head and lets out faint "...Huh" before tilting his head, After a couple of seconds he walks off shaking his head and muttering.
"What a knob.."

*A blonde hair tribal woman takes the time to post at Each and every message with exception to the ones in tarkuul*
This message is not the one Valithorn wishes to send, but rather a perversion of it. I spoke with him myself, he offers any who need it safe passage through the Forest, but warns that any who come with the intent of hunting his people and defiling the temple of his god shall be put down. The only who would have a problem with such a request are the blood thirsty and the greedy.

the message outside the Dale is now gone...
perhaps a coincidence perhaps not... hin tracks and wolf prints can be seen in the forest of despair to those with keen eyes and a sense of tracking... and a hell of a lot of dead malarites.

-Karindi *Most of these are taken down, but some are left, and with that, a reply* This is coming from a blood thirsty and greedy malarite. Defling his temple? It is already defiled. If the malarite numbers aren't culled then what do you think will happen? Besides, it seems as if everyday there are more. The one known as Valithorn may be doing well in his own sense of protecting his people but he has issued the challenge to any who go in there. Malarites live for the hunt, why not give it to them. His people will continue to die even when he's not around. How do you think that will hold up for him? What's to say he doesn't snap and kills anyone who steps foot in "his" forest. No, madam, this is not a perversion of his message, this is the real message. If a mindflayer who barred you from entering their ruins, or a sensible giant stood up agianst you from entering their domain, would you stand up for them? -Nicolos

"Valithorn, valithorn, you have done us all proud...
*a post is reverted as below with a claw mark below, its spread through several areas where the original post was found*
" Malarites are not permitted to roam the amian forests, or pretty much anywhere else without being accosted, Despairs forest belongs to that of Malar, those intent on hurting our kin suffer the same fate as those palemasters or malarites that wander the amia forest or other places hunting animals and disrupting their balance.. Forest of Despair belongs to us..it is our home.. an eye for an eye, blood makes the grass grow, if you cant take it don't dish it.... or we'll revel in the slaugther and you will aid in making our Lord pleased as well.. as blood makes the grass grow..."

Walking by these notices, an armored man in plain steel with a blue tabard and a winged helm reads over the latest.
He grins, "So now the pack gathers."
With just those words spoken, he continues on his way, metallic fingers tapping an equally metal thigh absently..

Yes, I would accept and honor the truce and pass along the knowledge of it. Should they break the truce, i would see the throne of their king trampled beneath my feet, I would keep his crown as a reminder for any who would do the same, and the burning of their corpses would blacken even the night sky. I don't start wars, I end them. That said, I just offered to convey his words as spoken, propoganda aside. I've done so, it's not my war, it is yours if you wish to wage it. -Karindi

If only there were others like you then in the aspect of you honoruing this, but not many are. I highly doubt you'd be the same, but say what you wish. This is not may war, this was just a notice to all, a warning to them.

Kaci passes by the Dale and frowns slightly not finding the notice but something else, then pads on to Kohl. She stares at the notice there with a troubled look for a long time before starting then crumbling a few notes. Finally she growls in frustration and shoves the crumpled notes and charcoal back into her pack and pads off again, slipping on her helm and heading back towards a certain forest.
