So does the EO?

Requisite for the Eternal Order is the patron being Kelemvor. Polytheism is a Forgotten Realms standard pretty much, so it depends on the patron. For instance Sharina had Kelemvor as a patron, and then for luck gave a short prayer to Tymora, etc.

For those that did not have Kelemvor as a patron the Ordo Mortuus existed. These were not as much honorary members (that would indicate they are not subject to commands and duties) but a sub-group of people with different patrons. Under Sharina I closed that group after a time, as it was not too greatly active and never really satisfied me from how I concepted it. If it will be reopened under Gaga, and in which manner it would (perhaps with honorary members) I have no clue about.

So currently, yes, if you want to be part of the EO you need Kelemvor as a patron unless that is changed ic through the characters who are members of the EO.

There are a few Novices of the EO still active. Aeron, Mikal and Epona - she will be in the future.

obviously i cannot say what will happen in game in the near future, but if what i have heard is true, that the EO is now disbanded... then we can re create it... afterall the EO did not only exist in Khem..
