Subject: Company Meeting

I believe the time has come to hold a meeting with as many of you present as possible. I realize that it is difficult to line up times, so I am going to make this an open meeting, spanning over a couple days so that everyone can get a chance to have their say. This meeting will span over 9 and 10 Eleint, ending before the Heralds have their Revel, so any of you can also go to that, if you like.

Items on the agenda thus far are as follows:

1. Sharing of the Official Roster
2. Contracts and Clients
3. Salaries
4. Promotions
5. Advertisement
6. Expansion

If you have any other points that you wish to bring to the table, feel free to let me know and I shall add it to the meeting agenda. Otherwise, you can bring it up at the meeting, once we've gone through the other points noted. These topics shouldn't be too time-consuming, so don't worry about a long, boring meeting likely to put you to sleep.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided!

Post-script: If you are unable to make it for any reason, a set of meeting minutes will be sent to you - to which any responses or questions will be welcomed.

There should be no issue with my attending the meeting at the proposed time. I have committed the mid-afternoon to late night of both those days, to my research, but as you say the meeting shouldn't take too long.

Subject: Company Meeting (Minutes)

1. Sharing of the Official Roster-

Everyone was given a copy of the roster, so that all names and trades of those involved with our organization are known to everyone working here. If you personally need something, now you know who to contact and don't have to go through me (unless it's unlisted - I didn't write down every trade that an associate has).

2. Contracts and Clients

The primary point for this topic was the method we use for all our clients and contracts. These things are very much streamlined: you take their name and contact location, then their order, and place it in the assignments list. Then it will be assigned to a proper associate and delivered as soon as it is ready. The customer never pays in advance, unless they absolutely insist and won't accept no for an answer.

I also pointed out that anyone can take on clients, though it's important to note that the company policies must be adhered to. It is, of course, quite possible for those of malign creed and intent to be deceptive in their dealings, but we must be vigilant. Any instances of our policies being broken will result in immediate termination of any work agreement with the customer. I would also add that any associate who knowingly works around these policies will be released from service to the company, and will likely not be allowed to place orders. Accidental or unintentional deviation from company policy will not incur a penalty, as no one is infallible - I've been deceived a few times by foul customers. Just be smart and careful. The less we do to help those who would terrorize or kill innocents, the better. This is a goodly organization - it's very important that everyone understand that. It's not going to change.

Official long-term contracts should still be brought to the attention of the company management for approval, though anyone can take initial proposals from prospective clients.

3. Salaries

This was simple, of course. Associates were paid. Anyone who hasn't received their salary yet, come to the office and I'll see to it that you get your money! I also mentioned that raises in salary may come in the future if the company continues to grow, expand, and succeed as it has been.

4. Promotions

We briefly discussed the open positions within the company. Each of our three branches will be given a manager from within its section of the roster. Additionally, a Chief Manager position also became available. This position was given to Eli Hodgewall, the hin warlock. The position is an assistant to me, and will supervise the dealings of the other managers, once they are officially chosen. Until then, he's mostly on paperwork detail and order sorting, the poor dear.

5. Advertisement

Many ideas were tossed around about catch phrases and signage. It was eventually determined that we would focus on more general advertisement, as our location may change or expand into more locations. Syff Seedless of Syff's Messenger Service has been hired to handle this aspect of our company. If anyone wishes to work with him in this division, please feel free to do so.

We also discussed our uniform, as well as badges which I will be designing. The badges will be made from copper, and will bear the initials of our company alongside a small copper dragon head - easily recognizable by others. The uniform will be similar to the business suit that I commonly wear. It will have copper and stone colors, but it is not necessary for you to wear, unless you are on official business with the company or if you intend to go to Wiltun as a representative. If you have any further ideas for the badge or uniform, please let me know, or forward them directly to Velden, who is overseeing the project.

6. Expansion

This was the most important point of discussion at the meeting, in my opinion. Time will soon come for expansion to other locations around the isles. Locations which were mentioned include Caraigh, Cordor, Wharftown, and Wiltun. They are, of course, all very good locations to consider, however at the moment we are going to focus on one location alone: Cordor. This is going to be a long process to complete, but it is my hope that we will be able to purchase real estate in Cordor, where we will take full advantage of commerce and the activity of the busy settlement.

The location we have in mind is the Cordor office of the Amia Trade Federation - a location that is dusty, unused, and likely close to closing down anyway. I have taken steps to this end, and we will know soon enough if this is going to be possible for us.
