This is something I will bring up for us to discuss. If I'm right, I'm seeing two issues in one here. The first being a lack of transparency, which has been brought up before, and is something we've been talking about how to better approach. The second issue seems to be pacing, which also leads us into your second point:

Again, pacing I think? Though it seems a bit divided in two types. One being the overarching pacing of our goals, and the second the more tactical pacing of individual encounters. I'll begin with the second as its easier to address. Now, I'm not saying its not an issue, but as far as us generally moving encounters quickly, I feel it is more due to a fear which should not exist: metagaming. Often I know our people try to move quickly for fear of a horde of opposition showing up out of nowhere to roflstomp us. Its happened before. Regardless, I suppose two wrongs do not make a right, so I'll again, bring it up to everyone as something we need to work on. For the more overarching pacing of our plots, and wanting to move things and goals quickly, I'll admit that such is a weakness and fear I myself have. I've been apart of many factions and initiatives, and I've seen many many die to stagnation. When things stop happening or hit a big pause people tend to lose interest and become inactive, which murders factions from the inside. Plots which take years to see come to fruition tend to never do so, instead being tossed aside for alts, or events where results can be had more readily. We have, as a faction, many large goals, and we might tend to try to push them too fast. All that said, yes it is still an issue, and patience is a virtue. Hopefully, with more open communication with DMs and players alike we'll be able to take a deep breath and relax some, knowing that things will get done rather than trying to rush a conclusion. Onto point three!

That's really all I have for now! I suppose it's a lot, but I hope it's helpful and not too harsh. I hope it keeps in line with what you're asking for. I am also very supportive of all that groups lately have tried to do it, yours and future ones included.
Something that's been touched on a lot. I won't lie, it goes against my own beliefs a bit. I feel as though we should simply innately trust one another and that explanation should not be so necessary. That said, obviously such is not the case here, and we've already identified such. We've been talking about how we can give away some motivation IC without opening ourselves up too much to metagaming (another sad truth), and hopefully we'll be able to share our ideas for such soon! I will also note that I am personally against pre-scripted RP, but I am planning on bringing up the idea of utilizing it some for those people who enjoy such. Possibly on a side goal.
I'd personally expect exactly what you have been doing so far: keeping the OOC drama null and dealing with inevitable grudges or mishaps in a very level-headed way, creating tons of interesting roleplay and most importantly not being easily daunted and giving up.
I personally believe that a successful evil faction could and should bring a wonderful wind of change to Amia. I'd like to see it last long, and to clear the utterly wrong impression that the players behind evil characters only want to grief, metagame or mindlessly pvp other people, while they actually take on themselves the frustrating task of playing something so hard for the sake of common enjoyement.
IG wise, I'd simply like to see you grow enough to become an established source of conflict. Short and out in a blaze of glory is fun, but here to stay (and rock our quiet world with sticks and stones) is even better. I'd even enjoy if you were treated a bit like NPCs and the next big bad plots revolved round actual PCs.
Edit: It would be nice if you were an example for so many other untapped sources of EVIL(tm), like the Underdark Drow.
Oh, and I want a pony too.
Appreciate the kind words; responses like this are what keep us motivated to continue on. Thank you! We do hope to become established, and that is our goal. That said, we are not above going out in a blaze of glory if that's what RP leads to. We really do not want to have to break character to earn what we hope to achieve. Being openly evil in itself has already, rightfully so, painted a major target on our back, so its going to be a challenge to see if we can withstand the backlash long enough to entrench in and allow others an opportunity to do the same. No pony for you!
What is with the attitude, this open topic is called "evil faction feedback" and I gave mine, I am not starting an argument about anything but you are with your tone and confrontational manner. My post highlights some issues I have witnessed and been part of in regards to evil factions and some of the negatives that go hand in hand with them on Amia since day one of me coming here. I was echoing Liz's earlier words about self policing or words to that effect. If you want to bury your head in the sand about such an important topic that has ruined so much for so many (which includes those evil faction players who are not like that btw) be my guest but do not expect to see me in the dark with you.
Finally you might not think it relevant but I do and I have had my say take it for what its worth and in the spirit it is given or ignore it and deny it outright if that is your pleasure.
I considered for awhile whether or not to even respond to this, but I think you deserve an explanation.
Firstly, no attitude was meant from my response then, or now. That said, while you did have a point, yes, you seemed to be using the opportunity to take a jab at the idea of powerbuilding and its viability towards RP. Doing so invites others to begin arguing a topic that is irrelevant to this post. We welcome any constructive criticism for our faction, but please do not use this thread as a way to vent other concerns.
What I've seen so far is ok, a nice flow of conflict that riles the adventurers that were once content to sit on their hinnies.
For OOC conflict, "I think" there has been some regarding metagaming. When someone tells the group to hold up due to a concern, the aftermath gets diluted. I'm not taking a side on this, or even making sides, just voicing my opinion. When things slow down, so does the experience.
For IC conflict, I've liked it. I enjoy having something that would motivate concerned talk, rather than idle concern. Open evil is fun because it is understandable. Subtle evil is fun because it is sinister. However some people might not understand that evil, which can make them question your intent. The few open evils you commit (such as pvp) can be seen as mindless or not thought out. What I'm really saying is that "first impressions are everything" and I've seen this take part in how the faction has been received.

I've given my constructive criticism which echoed and supported what others have said here, take it or leave it as you wish but as what I said is tied up in what I see as a big problem with so called evil factions and some of those players in your faction what I said is not only generally relevant but specifically relevant to your faction as well.
It's worth noting that much of what is relevant about what I said was once easily applied to certain paladins in the pre-devcrit and paladin nerf, again take that or leave it but I remember days of evil character players many complaints that paladin <X> devcrit and immune to spells was op..

So I may return to the server after having taken a couple of months break, and if you guys are out doing open evil I'd like to see it. I came here for the conflict in the first place, it's what I want to rp. AS long as it is IC! ofc.
