Hi, old account name was ''Acrid'' (Lafean & Adin'murss charcaters etc..) and like.. having a drow male with 15 lvl of cleric, chaotic neutral alignement, hearth and travel domain, i find myself unable to cast haste or any other spell i have.. diety is selvetarm.
so i went in the logging room, talked to a little light and change hearth to evil, still no change. where is hoppy btw? (said i have to talk to hoppy for domain change aswell)
im super lost!!!!
anyway, help me and ty.

Well as you figured, you can't cast because you are fallen. There was a HUGE overhaul of the deity system and cleric domains recently, and Selvetarm's currently domains are: Chaos Drow Evil Hatred Strength War. Travel needs to be changed. So yeah, that's the problem there and if Hoppy isn't around I dunno what to say heh. Hoppy is now an orb in the maintenance room off to the side of the Welcome to Amia entry way.
Also, Naivatkal, Male Drow clerics exist (IE: clerics of Selvetarm, huh, imagine that...) in Lolthite society and are typically respected members of the Magthere.

yep, actualy, since he got rogue and SD, should be like the evil drow god, the one agaisnt lolth cant recall the name..
so, the light in character reestoration room indeed, in order to keep casting haste, travel needs to change to which domain.. chaos? evil? etc? or do i need to reroll a new char or something -.-
ill look bit more at Naivatkal's links hoping to find the domain or... forget the drow and play my emo elf bard lol

You won't be able to cast haste as a worshiper of Selvetarm anymore... he doesn't have travel as a domain.
Vhaeraun does have travel but to change gods you need to make a request... and that takes time and you might have to play "fallen" for a time which means you can't cast your spells which in essence is what you are now.
I would say it might be best to roll up a new character and get to know the server again.

Vhaeraun thank you, ok so i deffinitly won't gonna take the time to reroll a new character so i will ask for diety change. after all, this diety feats better his build than selvetarm.

I don't have my pdfs so I can't look. Had a feeling it was possible, just wasn't sure. Knew Lloth male clerics were right out haha.

No problem at all. Vhaerunite is also acceptable for males to be clerics of. Only issue is... Selvetarm allows one to openly be a cleric all the time in Drow-ville, where as Vhaerunites are often smacked about if discovered.

As was said in your request, "I want Haste" is not a valid reason for adomain change, so.
