A number of letters are placed up on noticeboards throughout the districts of Cordor, Bendir Dale, Wharftown, Uhm, Kampo's Storehouse, Kohlingen and Guldorand.

Quote:
What is it to be a Brother of the Glorious Sun?

It is to live a life of purpose and meaning, in service of the Eternal Sun.
For we are not bound to the rise and fall of mortal realms, nor the whims of ministers nor lords. While even gods have fallen, Lathander stands as our eternal sovereign. For even the darkest night ever leads into glorious dawn, and by this we know Him to be true.

It is to stand first among His children, and carry forth twenty centuries of legacy.
Ours is a higher path than wealth and luxury, for the path to salvation and peace is paved by devotion and piety. Across the aeons we have served, and while our fortunes rise and fall as the sun does, from each pass we have learned, adapted and grown. Thus do we endure and prosper.

It is to know of Deliverance, and lead our world out of this long night into an age of peace and order.
The Brotherhood has ever stood strong and proud, for many are our victories and great are our works. Not for us the barbed promise of false hope, but commitment to measures that truly serve His will. We have built and raised and fought. We have stood against decay and famine, disease and despair, fiends and shadows. While His light guides us, we overcome.

It is to ever seek to better oneself and one’s peers, for the good of all under His radiance.
Whether one would be a Herald of His glory, to build a more radiant tomorrow, through word or craft or song or trade, be welcome. Whether one would be a Pilgrim in search of truth, to learn and guide others to wisdom of past, present and future, be welcome. Whether one would be a Templar of unending vigil, and guard the realms and all that is whole and just against the shadow and chaos on our borders, be welcome. Whether one is yet Unforgiven, once lost in the night yet seeking His beacon, be welcome. For the Brotherhood has a place for all who would carry Him in their soul.

Come and speak with Sunmaster Aurelius, in the Chapel of Lathander in Cordor or appointment via Commonwealth Courier box #9341 or notice below.

Just curious but are there "Sisters of the Glorious Sun" as well do you bar females for some reason?

While the organization is known as the "Brotherhood of the Glorious Sun", such is a mistranslation from its original name. Or rather, there is no adequate translation possible within the limited common tongue.

Regardless, while there have been traditionally fewer female than male members of the Brotherhood, they are nonetheless welcomed as Sisters.

Might want to work on that name then, it's hardly fair!

Perhaps "Fraternity" in the sense of secret society, or the more open ended "Society" on its own or "Order" is the ~correct~ translation, the common tongue being more than adequate to the task.

[The Chancellor of Kohlingen, checking on the board, furrows her brow when reading the posting. Particularly on looking at the name of who wrote it. When she is done, she removes the poster from the Kohlingen board.]
